Mollie Reads yes! I'm such a slow reader but I decided to listen to Harry Potter ambiance as I was finished the goblet of fire, and I was so focused and absorbed into the world of it. It's made all the difference.
Am I the only one super into these wrap-up vlogs? I love being able to see what people do/think as they're reading or how they work it into their schedule. It's also cool to see that other people also struggle to fit in all those reading moments sometimes. Great job with the readathon! I was going to participate, but for my time zone it was hard because I worked and really had to get sleep. Maybe the next one will line up better!
I love the 24 hours readathon sooooo much! I just love a readathon & it's great that your channel always alerts me to new ones! I started & finished 3 books as well & partially read 4 others 👍🏻
how do you read 152 pages in 1 hour? I literally take two minutes per page most times and cannot help fully absorbing every single word. I am incapable of skimming, but it takes forever to read books because of that
WOW - your burp. You're amazing. Hahaha oh my Gosh I accidentally picked up Hazelnut flavoured coffee the other day instead of the original.... and it tastes divine I tell you!!
I don't think I have ever really understood read-a-thon's because I feel like I can't ever really enjoying a book if I have to read it so fast. But it was really cool to see how others do it. I totally forgot that you could speed up Audible books, but then again I don't think I would be able to understand what they are saying. I will have to try one of these sometime and see how many books I can do strictly using audiobooks.
turns out i have been doing these ,,readathons'' my whole childhood, not knowing that they were an actual thing lol! I'm definitely going to be participating in the next one, intentionally this time tho :)
I don't think it's bad to read slowly, you know... For example, I am a writer and for me, reading is more about absorbing every detail, thought, word, sentence, feeling of it... I am always looking for some mistakes and qualities of a story and writing when i read. And then it's more... I dont know, heartfelt i guess? So yeah, I don't think it's wrong, not even a little...
Can you really concentrate on audiobooks while driving? I have only listened to a few audiobooks in bed when I was sick and had to concentrate extra hard, because if I missed a few words/sentences, I found it very annoying and had to rewind and catch up :- ) (Yeah maybe it didn't help that the books weren't in my native language.) I can imagine it for stuff I know really well, but for new books not so much. Also, these videos are super fun, seeing someone exercising while reading was refreshing :- D
lol... sleep a thon... it should be created!
Love this! And I love the Sherlock ambiance. I listen to Harry Potter ambiance all the time while I read. The Ravenclaw common room is my favorite ;)

I am so astounded by how much reading you can get done in all of these readalongs!

I always have my audiobooks on 1.5x or 2x. Life is too short to listen to them at regular speed!

becasue that is how many pages saga volumne 6 is...
libby gregory No, I know that. I meant how did she read it so quickly- quickly to me anyway.
I think what she meant was; how do you read so fast...
It was a graphic novel so it has tons of pictures! They're quicker to read, though I couldn't read it as fast as Caz either (:
The booktuber Melbourne on my mind can read 150 pages an hour. Depending on the book. She averages 8 books a week.
I am loving these readathon vlogs!! Please do more!!
I love your readathon vlogs! Dewey's is one of my favourite readathons 😊 Looks like you had a pretty successful readathon!
I love the Hogwarts Express and Library ASMRs.
WOW - your burp. You're amazing. Hahaha
oh my Gosh I accidentally picked up Hazelnut flavoured coffee the other day instead of the original.... and it tastes divine I tell you!!
You did such a good job this readathon! Looked like so much fun :)

Love that you have ASMR on in the background! So cool.
Do more readathons please..... I love watching these types of videos! Keep up the good Youtubing.
I love your vlogs! I would LOVE a sleepathon as well! That's one I could totally participate in.
turns out i have been doing these ,,readathons'' my whole childhood, not knowing that they were an actual thing lol! I'm definitely going to be participating in the next one, intentionally this time tho :)
You are amazing 😂 I would've slept so much during this readathon 😂😂
i am going to try this next year! seems like a really good way to get a lot of reading in
I totally just fanned girl because you mentioned the warm up post I wrote.
Could you do a video on how you got your job in the publishing industry (bloomsbury)? ... also I always forget about these readathons, oops.
Aaaaa!! the only thing I'm waiting for is for you to finish ACOTAR already!! i wanna know your thoughts on the book :OOOO
Loved how you mentality handled this challenge haha.
Awesome job! There's no way I could do that!
Love the vlog style video!
I will do the readathon for sure!! what an amazing idea!! but the thing is im so much slower.. I'd read about 50 pages in an hour
Gad Idea, i'd read like 20
I love how messy your hair gets throughout the video. People just don't understand that reading is hard work! lol
sadly, I cannot listen to audio books faster than normal. I don't ... I can't.... it just doesn't happen for me.
i love your glasses
I totally get mad and sad when a book ends with a not so happy ending or if it doesn't end the way I'd like it to end.
omg that audiobook was super sped up. The most I can manage is 1.10
I read 0 books.... lol.... ooooops
Jay G Haha, you're not the only one!

You had a great 👍🏼 Read-A-Thon! I had to work all day that day, so unfortunately I was not able to participate'
Would love the link to that Sherlock ambience it looks lovely!
I've actually just started Vol 3 of Saga, I like the world, but the story and characters aren't really gripping me (possibly yet)
Can you give me the link with the ambiance sounds?
after VEDA and Dewey's you need a sleep a thon.
You did really well!
Sleep-o-thon XD
If you listen faster and you cound for example 5 hours do you count it in actual hours or in the time that it should have needed?

Ditto about coffee.
I am going to get myself a coffee:)

'Alex is coming over'... Don't you live together?
Nope he lives with his wife lol !
+Eleanor Kate Not anymore :) my room at my parents is tiny for one person, let alone two!
Oh no that's sad. Understandable though!
hahaha sleep-a-thon
What is "readathon"?
Mayna it's like a reading marathon! you just read read read as much as you can for 24 hours and that is pretty much it :)
Reading a comic book doesnt count.
+Kevin Thurston I would disagree. There are no rules for this readathon.
Yes it does, go away.
of course it does
Well done for doing so well in the readathon!
