They aren't common here. Yes, pays to keep the spices and herbs dry - can be annoying when they clog up. Very healthy is sauerkraut - especially in winter. Can't have a hot dog without it 🤣! As I also love cooking, nice that you have all those herbs and spices in your kitchen!! When I had my own place in Sweden and Zurich I did the same. It’s a happy collection. Here we don’t have a proper kitchen and just cook at the balcony and everything is messy 😅 Sauerkraut is one of my most favorite vegetable dishes. My Swiss friend’s mom always cooks it for me whenever I visit them. Last week I also made pickles, not cabbage, but Chinese mustard greens and white radish 🥰 Yumyummmm

Great start of the year 😊 Hearty meals when it’s cold are the best. Sauerkraut with sausage looks delish 🤤 My mom makes something similar but I haven’t had it in years. I might need to have a look in the shops if I can find the right ingredients and try it myself this winter.

I could do with sorting out my cupboards too. I store loads of food stuffs in big storage jars in my kitchen draws. Sauerkraut is really healthy for you and I should eat it more. Never thought to actually do anything with it other than eat it as is. I have a cold pressed juicer that I really should get back into action tho you're right cleaning it afterwards is a bit of pain plus all the pulp. The meal looked rather tasty. Could do with some of that as it's been sub zero here the last couple of days 🙂
The Netherlands kitchen companies aren’t very ‘pantry’ savvie. I was adament I would have one so designed it myself and had a seperate builder put the shelves in - not quite how I would have done it ( designed plenty in NZ in my time) but better than nothing. Sauerkraut is indeed healthy, especially in the winter months. It was almost the meal I had in mind when you visited but then a more upgraded version 😂! Gorgeous weather today. Haha, my tidy pantry can become quite disjointed after some busy cooking and baking sessions. I try not to let it happen....but! My ambitions for 2025? Gosh, I want to make more space in my schedule to be a better editor. I'd also like to attempt to add more cooking videos as there is a separate audience for those....many aren't really interested in the travel videos. I notice that in the comments - or lack there of. Can't blame them, not everyone wants to travel to the places we do. It is always lvoely to see the subscriber numbers grow - very steadily most of the time a few here and there. Not a mad rush. I'm a patient person 🤣🤣🤣! What often happens is that the new people also have a channel and I end up needing more time to watch their videos too 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣! Yes, pays to keep the spices and herbs dry - can be annoying when they clog up.

As I also love cooking, nice that you have all those herbs and spices in your kitchen!! When I had my own place in Sweden and Zurich I did the same. It’s a happy collection. Here we don’t have a proper kitchen and just cook at the balcony and everything is messy 😅
Sauerkraut is one of my most favorite vegetable dishes. My Swiss friend’s mom always cooks it for me whenever I visit them. Last week I also made pickles, not cabbage, but Chinese mustard greens and white radish 🥰 Yumyummmm

Great start of the year 😊 Hearty meals when it’s cold are the best. Sauerkraut with sausage looks delish 🤤 My mom makes something similar but I haven’t had it in years. I might need to have a look in the shops if I can find the right ingredients and try it myself this winter.

I could do with sorting out my cupboards too. I store loads of food stuffs in big storage jars in my kitchen draws. Sauerkraut is really healthy for you and I should eat it more. Never thought to actually do anything with it other than eat it as is. I have a cold pressed juicer that I really should get back into action tho you're right cleaning it afterwards is a bit of pain plus all the pulp. The meal looked rather tasty. Could do with some of that as it's been sub zero here the last couple of days 🙂
The Netherlands kitchen companies aren’t very ‘pantry’ savvie. I was adament I would have one so designed it myself and had a seperate builder put the shelves in - not quite how I would have done it ( designed plenty in NZ in my time) but better than nothing. Sauerkraut is indeed healthy, especially in the winter months. It was almost the meal I had in mind when you visited but then a more upgraded version 😂! Gorgeous weather today. My ambitions for 2025? Gosh, I want to make more space in my schedule to be a better editor. I'd also like to attempt to add more cooking videos as there is a separate audience for those....many aren't really interested in the travel videos. I notice that in the comments - or lack there of. Can't blame them, not everyone wants to travel to the places we do.
It is always lvoely to see the subscriber numbers grow - very steadily most of the time a few here and there. Not a mad rush. I'm a patient person 🤣🤣🤣! What often happens is that the new people also have a channel and I end up needing more time to watch their videos too 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣! I'm a lone vlogger- my husband isn't really involved. I do everything myself.
