Haha, yes, that's why I did the intro shot like that. What a jewel Chris. It was amazing. Clever man that Vauban. Thanks friend. Lovely to hear from you. Happy weekend. 😎🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
This village is a bit different indeed, consider being the same area. But flowers are everywhere even buildings are not as colourful like others. With fortress for protection…interesting. I must google for deeper deatils 🙏 I always have 2 phones with me in case of battery runs out, and also a power bank. My handbag’s always heavy 😅 I often have pain shoulder because of carrying a lot (water bottle and snacks also) Oh nooooo earl grey does have bergamot in it, but it’s definitely not ginger 🙏🤣 Cute and funny kids there 😂 It’s sky’s quite blue, lucky you. I hardly remember blue sky in autumn during my time in Zurich. So this’s the last clip of Alsace I guess as you mentioned going home. I’ve enjoyed the ride with you thank you for nice clips 🙏🥰
First of all Maia, I meant 'home' as in BnB. We have only just had two weeks of our holiday. More to come. The Citadel is awesome- very much an engineering masterpiece. The homes are now more modern and definitely not as pretty as the villages we have been to so far. They serve their purpose - but not aesthetically pretty. I too carry lots round with me- today was a extra long day. I can't charge my GoPro on the way- do use my charger though for the phone. It was getting late- enough pretty pictures fro one day 🤣! Haha, the Earl Grey was at least refreshing. Needed that. Oh yes, lots of blue sky - for now. It was a great Autumn start to the journey. Thanks Maia. Love;y to hear from you- as always 🙏 for the support. 🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
@ Oh there’ll be some more clips of Alsace? I really look forward to it 🙏😍 Very fond of this area myself, but there’re so many beautiful villages to visit so I didn’t complete it yet. I sure wanna see all 😂😂🥰🥰
Swearing again Anita. 😲Neuf means yes in Klingon I think. (Should I do the 'well well' jokes? Nah) The waiter didn't have ginger hair did he? That town looks like Sheerness in Kent, or Sheermess as we called it. The design of the citadel is such that whoever is attacking is hit from two directions at once. The front and the side. This is much more effective than a fortress with only four sides. (Learned that from watching programmes about castle designs). 😁😁
Maybe Neuf means yes in Klingon - in English it means New 🤣! Not ever seen a handsome Frenchman with red hair Boppy. It's nowhere near the coast Boppy. Not like Sheerness. The design sure was effective indeed. It was quite an experience walking here Boppy. Thanks for the support, and as always, the awesome comment. Happy Friday. Oh and I like my chippie butty with marmite and plain chips. 🤣Just saying. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝

The architecture beautiful. I don’t normally care for graffiti but some of this is really pretty. The kids are funny. I think you made their day. This place is living history. The artwork is unique and fun. 🌸🏰
Yes we had the BnB for a week Mike. So much loveliness to see. We are now at day 7 so next video will see us take a final walk and farewell in Turckheim. Onward to new horizons coming up soon. The kids were truly so funny. I think they've forgotten about being in the video now. 🤣🤣. Enjoy the rest of the weekend Mike. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀️🥝
I had a look on Google maps and I can see why they said best from the air, what an amazing layout 😀
I must google for deeper deatils 🙏
I always have 2 phones with me in case of battery runs out, and also a power bank. My handbag’s always heavy 😅 I often have pain shoulder because of carrying a lot (water bottle and snacks also)
Oh nooooo earl grey does have bergamot in it, but it’s definitely not ginger 🙏🤣 Cute and funny kids there 😂
It’s sky’s quite blue, lucky you.
I sure wanna see all 😂😂🥰🥰
❤
I thank you 🙏. Have a nice day 🇳🇱🙋♀️🥝
Was that interesting shape a village or just building? I love good street art and you found some really nice ones :)
Yes it was very interesting. The village was inside the walls. Like a fortress. A very special place. Thanks Audrone. Have a great week. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀️🥝
Amazing place. I think that was better than Colmar LOL
It sure was different David. Well worth the effort. Happy Friday. 🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
Swearing again Anita. 😲Neuf means yes in Klingon I think. (Should I do the 'well well' jokes? Nah)
The waiter didn't have ginger hair did he?
