PRAISE GOD ! there BAAAACK Rock & Roll is NOT DEAD ! John and Alan are back to kick some MORE ass ! I for 1, am MORE then ready . This old Quo fan has been a hard core S/Q fan since "Pictures of match stick men" came out. ( I head it on the AM dial in 1962) but everybody tells me it came out in 68 , but I got the LP here that backs up a release date of 1962 so thats 42 years of pure heavenly Rock & Roll ! John & Alan PLEASE stay with the band !!!! Do a new LP !
Some people never give up their drugs: "I head it on the AM dial in 1962) but everybody tells me it came out in 68, but I got the LP here that backs up a release date of 1962."
I think you are over simplifying it anonymusum, if any line up was the same then why would we like different musicians? I been watching Quo live for a long time i never saw original line up live until they reformed. I was apprehensive if it would be different but it was the drumming stood out completely and was amazing they certainly sounded different and were great.
In fact it is a pretty simple music, the only thing that has to be rehearsed is getting the whole thing tight. That´s it. Every good musician can do that so the new old members may be welcome to the fans but they make no difference to Quo´s new lineup. The whole thing is a pretty clever PR gag to keep Quo in business.
Three of them have been away from real Quo music for too long, there's only John whose confident as he's been playing with tribute bands who still play real Quo and not the micky mouse rubbish Rossi and Parfitt trot out as Quo.
Wow, it's all there! The vintage Fenders and Ludwig kit, the old songs and that typical sound. Only a lot of hair is missing. Great song!
Thanks for posting great to see them together playing this one , feel was excellent.
