My main problem with the original was that It wasn't mission based enough, for example saving your planet from an impending pirate attack grew thin after a while. I reckon this will add more verity to spore, changing it from a glorified modeling kit, into something that'll really be eating into my time.

That's normal; the stores usually get it a few days so they can make sure it's in stock and ready to move the moment it's time for sale. No store can legally sell it until the moment they are told to do (I remember when Titanic went out on DVD there were people waiting in the stores until midnight to buy it XP). As for me I'm waiting until morning like a sane person. ^.^

I'm still wondering how adventures will work if you don't have all the content it was created with. Will Spore look on the Sporepedia for the exact creations, or do they have enough Maxis creations to find a suitable replacement? There's more questions I got on my mind, but maybe they can wait until the expansion comes out.
you should make it sort of like a MMO! I think that would be awesome. I was talking to my friend the other day and he thought that it would be a good idea too. Even if it weren't a MMO, you should at least make it so that you can use someone's email address to connect to their computer and do missions together. It could be co-op or even face off against each other to see who can build the better creature! Please consider adding this idea to this expansion pack or a later expansion. Thanks!
I agree with this, I have around 30 or so colonies and and about 10 of them are T3, maxed out in buildings, maxed out space rank, 15 T2 colonies,I know around 50 empires, 37 allies... at war with the Grox, found about 4 of my other empires created in other games... So I've become really bored of this, and I've noticed a friend of mine and I have been doing creature stage the most these days. Galactic adventures will probably be quite nice, combining these two stages together.
True, but if you search hard enough you can find some things of actual quality from the more hardcore gamers. In the Main spore game, there aren't many, due to the extremely low difficulty of the game. In Galactic Adventures Maxis hopes to see an increase in hardcore gamers, improving the overall quality of player-made missions and creative models.
some of maxis's missions don't have crew added, you have to use their captains. I have edited their missions and changed it. (It isn't hard to figure out.)

They should have improved the space stage before the original launch. This expansion pack seems cool, but I don't want to pay more money to make Spore into the game it should have been to begin with. Also, where's the underwater expansion pack? That would be awesome.
All right Spore. If you really do listen to what your consumers say: You had it right the first time, with the intermediate Ocean stage. I want an expansion pack that gives you an entirely new stage between cell and creature, a 3D explorer type stage, where you start off as a 3D version of your cell stage, then build on that until you reach creature. It was a wonderful idea that you should have stuck with in the original game, but if you make it an expansion, I will be the first to buy it.

i like the idea of a adventure editor.... but will it be too simple or to complex? i expect simple but thats always a good thing, 2 things that really put me off is that if i make a adventure and people just fly around and over obsticals with the jetpack it might spoil it, plus i saw a minor glitch at 2:03 the pink car to the left was floating and a wheel stuck in the ground. One thing which would truely make it for me is if you could go inside buildings and vechiles!
I always finde myself making fairy-tale storys on spore...you start in a small village, you go down a forbidon road,you hit a fork in the road... left..right..or don't turn? you can git different storys as you go a different way! left: Ruins right: Evil king(kill) ahead: this one is the crazyest....Go on..and on....entill.... BAM! you git hit by the dragon that gaurds gold and gems! !WARNING! that one is VEARY hard, i can't even do it.
it would be hard to make an environment where enemies and yourself can attack from below, above, the side and also how is the poison going to be dispersed? and how will the spikes be used?. wouldn't it just be easier to just add on to the cell stage?

I wish you could just beam down to every planet without there being a mission on there. Still have the Adventure feature but let you freely beam down there and do whatever you want with or without your crew free roaming
How comes the creature at the beginning of the video has one eye bigger than the other? I want a button say just control or control + tab to make a part asymmetric so its abit for fun.
Looks cool, but they better bugtest this one better than Creepy and Cute and the exoskeleton arts patch. I've lost count of how many times I've tried to install that thing, only to not get the parts.

SPore GA is an add-on to your spore. It adds more to the space stage.

Grox guards the center and trys to stop you from getting the staff of life from steve which gives you 42 uses.
I would think hugging this game was really weird.... if I wasn't doing it too. I WANT GALACTIC ADVENTURES!!!!! :P
