It's true that some wheelchair users can also walk. A wheelchair is just a mobility aid, like the cane I sometimes use. Unfortunately, many able-bodied people still believe the myth that all wheelchair users are completely incapable of walking and believe that disabled people owe them an explanation of our disabilities.

    • @redSIRIUS

A majority of weelchair users can walk, they’re mostly used for aid as many who use them can not walk for long distances. Again there is a very big issue with able bodied people assuming all weelchair users are unable to use their legs which causes situations like this. He did admit he wasn’t transparent with his audience about his physical therapy and process to recovery, so it would of been rather jarring to see a man you believed was weelchair bound “magically” get up and walk. I think both parties are to blame. The audience assuming he was fully paralysed and him for not being fully transparent about his condition.

Stas Reeflay didn’t even show remorse for his actions. After he dragged his girlfriend back into the room, he simply sat down and continued reading chat comments and drinking instead of calling the ambulance (he said that his phone was broken, and Valentinas had a password). It took him a good while to finally stand up and go ask the neighbours to call. And he only got six years in prison for it. Makes me sick in the stomach.

I think the most generous version of events is an accident *did* happen, but he recovered long before the incident of him getting up was caught. His girlfriend(?) lets out a gasp when he did it and then immediately tried to cover by launching into a conversation.

I was one of Inquisitor's fans, when the drama started happening I didn't unfollow him because I was quite oblivious to it until I started checking the comments on his posts, then decided to unfollow him. Hopped on tt for a bit on my alt account after a while, realized that I haven't unfollowed him here so I checked his page to do so, saw that he was live and begun watching, thinking that maybe he had an apology or proof that the allegations were wrong. I didn't know what was exactly going on because it didn't seem like anything was happening. Scrolled. Later on, realizing that the guy I followed ended up taking his own life in the live I watched for a minute or two was horrifying.

      @astroyeaster9464 2 місяці тому +21

@@Supercactusfr To be honest, I don't use social media at all, except for UA-cam and other such websites. But if I am someone's fan, I would at least give them the benefit of the doubt compared to other people whom I do not know. Now, I know it's common for people to switch sides easily, because most people just let others handle what opinions they should have or how they should behave (it's called crowd mentality). But I believe it should be common sense to not believe everything you see online. I mean, teachers tell you this all the time, but apparently it just goes in one ear and out the other. Essentially, it's because people take things like social media too lightly, as if their actions do not have consequences. But in reality, whatever you say or do will most likely affect another person. In the end, it is the responsibility of the person who spread the misinformation and the ones who blindly followed it as a whole. His death could have been avoided if people formed their own opinions on proper facts instead of simply being sponges. But then again, it was probably mostly children, and children famously do not know what the hell they're doing.

The fact that you go to extra pains to point out the radicalisation of some of these awful people is genuinely a breath of fresh air. Some people are going to complain about you playing politics, but I think it's important in this day an age to make note of the context and the consequences of extremist ideologies when they meet with disturbed individuals. The way you present each one isn't praising them, it's not glorifying them, it's rightfully condemning them.
Too many horror story channels would present these stories in a way that robs them of all moral and social contexts and as moments in history they are products of the morals and contexts of the society they exist within.

Inquisitor's entire situation is deeply upsetting. From the disturbing live stream, to how unable and near- impossible it would have been for him to defend himself.
AJ and Tito had absolutely no right to do what they did, their actions ended a life. A very wholesome and joyous one.
And for what? That's the thing, it disturbs me to an incredible degree to know that there was less than likely- a probable reason for their behavior.
It's even more heart-wrenching that the allegations were nothing light, and especially nothing he could just say "It wasn't me" or "I would never do that" to.
It's unfortunate the path and the end the entire thing had.
    Rest in peace, Vincent Plicchi.🕊️

The situation registers to me as AJ and Tito being unwilling to face their own actions and accept accountability. They had dug themselves so deep in the shit, that the options they had at that point were to either admit they had slandered a good man's name for clout, or double down and keep going. Given their age and limited cognitive development, they likely didn't even consider the former as an option at all.

I think a notable mention which should have been added is the death stream of Joyce Echaquan.
She was a 37-year-old Atikamekw Canadian who was admitted to hospital with pulmonary edema and was verbally abused and strapped down to a bed after they falsey stated she was having drug withdrawals, which absolutely wasn't the case and they just stated because of racism. She started streaming the events to Facebook as she had no one advocating or listening to her and she ended up dying there from neglect. Physically restrained and abused in her final moments.
It sparked international outrage towards the abuse of indigenous folk in Canada's medical system, which exposed various other scandals and formed protests, but an innocent woman, a mother, died that day and it was all caught on live camera.

But its not personal, not at all. When people make fun of school/mass shoot-rs, its because of what they did in their last moments.
Its not because they've had hard lives. That they've suffered and been bullied and victimized. Getting bullied sucks... its so painful. It is really hard to deal with.
But when that person goes and commits a horrific act -- that torches every ounce of kindness and goodwill people had toward them.
That's why a shooting is such a terrible path to head down. It will never bring the acceptance and control we want to have. Its a false high of "power," that shows only weakness.

The Violent Night livestream is one of the most chilling for me. The more you look into it is the more you see all the sayings and details and hints Steven cracked out towards Natalie’s murder.

at 7:40 i remember seeing this story/clip in a video i watched years ago talking about things caught on live streams, i remember seeing a comment saying "the person dressed as Spider man in the back probably felt like a bad influence" or something along the lines. either way that's stayed with me for years.

i felt so bad for inquisitor, he was getting accused of pedophilia so badly, it was pissing me off, and it was so sickening, allegations can lead to bad stuff and dying, i hate it, rip inquisitior

Lmao his girlfriend sits in the background sobbing while he tells a bunch of strangers that he's a creep. Surely she would just leave him. Why do people expose themselves to scrutiny like this? Streaming clearly attracts a very specific kind of person.

This is a great video. Very eye-opening, but during the "Hugo goes to school" section you said that Hugo said to subscribe to pewdiepie. I'm pretty sure that quote has been miscredited from the Christchurch massacre in March of 2019

I was an inquisitor fan since he hit 1.3k and it was truly heartbreaking to see how the allegations had impacted him. I was watching the live as it happened and I had to stop watching when his father broke in because it was too upsetting.
    Fly high inquisitor ❤️

he's def a scammy guy but i legitimately believe the wheelchair thing, because this mfs facebook photos go way back with him still being in one, meaning that if he was lying about it he had been keeping up that act for more then 9 years

With Hitoshi's situation it's honestly surprising that his streamers were worried about his girlfriend, because most people in those types of livestreams seem to encourage that kind of behavior, which is really, really depressing. Especially since many people will donate to see people hurt on livestreams. It's sickening.

18:50 in a way, im glad to have found out it was still him who commited the murder.
Do you know how devastating that would be!?!? To have found out your wife was murdered while you were home and you didn't do a single thing about it bc you were busy playing a game with headset on. Gosh, I'd probably kms.

jesus, the madden one hits especially hard personally because i grew up in jacksonville. i literally remember exactly where i was. my father took my brother and my 8 year old self at the time to a trampoline park called altitude or something (pretty sure it was called rebounderz at the time). my grandmother and grandfather were there as well, as they were in town from NOLA. We took a break to sit down at the little concession stand minibar thing to have some snacks and drink an icee when i look up on one of the tv's (there were multiple, i think bc of yk parents so they can sit n have fun n socialize/drink while kids go do crazy shit by themselves) when i see a news headline, talking about a shooting. i dont remember if i said something to my dad or not but i remember being terrified. this day was a sunday when this all occurred , and i have divorced parents so our old schedule was me getting to see my dad every other weekend, so i was dropped off at my moms house after this. i sit and talk to my mom, crying, upset and scared that somethings gonna happen to me. i tell her what i saw on the tv and she feels horrible. she gets so upset that a place marketed for kids was showing the news headline of a shooting that had just taken place. im like 99% sure after this she emailed the place, complaining about it (rightfully so). its js weird bc i can remember all this, im 14 now and life has changed so much since then. now i live in atlanta, about to start high school, and i barely get to see my dad anymore due to his new job. life is crazy.
BTW IM ASKINGMY MOM LATER IF SHE EMAILED THE PLACE IF SHE REMEMBERS BUT IM P SURE SHE DID
