- This is episode 4 of The Quilt-as-you-go Chronicles; in the next ten episodes, we will make a mystery quilt-as-you-go quilt called I, Valentine. Each week we will construct a section of the quilt and show you lots of tips and techniques, as well as delving into all things quilt as you go and sewing. In this series, you will learn how to machine applique, free-motion quilt, and quilt on a home sewing machine. Also, you will discover two great methods for quilt as you go and see how we make an entire quilt from start to finish on our domestic sewing machine. What computer software does Alaura use? I simply use graph paper, and it takes a long time when making adjustments. LOVE your videos!

@@PatternPooleTV I SO appreciate your quick response. With Raw Applique (like Sketchy Applique) you can take your pictures to a whole new level, and I love it. I am a computer whiz, but only on the programs I truly put my heart into - so need to find out what will work best for me. Thanks for all you do! You and your daughter appear to have the same relationship that I had with my mother (unfortunately she has passed away), it is a blessing I will always cherish.
