Excellent tutorial ! Going on my build list. Thank you. Long live Southern Railway.
Super nice pipe loads. I’ve got 4 gondolas to fill up with pipe! Looks great.
I like your work! You are exacting and patient!
Since that's a simple Athearn car, I would disassemble the underframe and couplers from the carbody for more effective paint coverage.
for my pipe loads I use those red coffee stirrers that I get from Circle K. I paint them gray and they look like pipes.
Simple method...Great result!!
Very nice! I live on the EX PLE I wish I could have been alive back then
Great job.. Many thanks..
Hallo. Very good video. 👍 🤝
Was is your cribbing match sticks? At the end of the video, you stated you out some kind of coating over it, what was used?
Try Rustoleum camouflage brown , it’s kind of a black / brown I think you might like the effect
Why not just use a drinking straw as it's the right inside diameter? Cheers from eastern TN
Nice
Very nice job.👍,what about the weight?
any updates on the layout love the caboose.
What size and type of pipe did you start with?
Scraping the interior of the pipes is not making the diameter smaller. It's increasing the inside diameter by making the wall thickness thinner. Too bad there wasn't a drill bit that could have done the same thing.
What color was that rust color. I have rust but yours looks better
