- A short and sweet tribute to my favorite "The Bad Batch" episode - "Decommissioned"!
ONLY THE BATTLE DROID Scenes!
The episode was hard to watch for a Separatist fan such as myself, but the RISE OF THE DROID ARMY was something else! For the Separatist Alliance!

I always loved the battle droids.... It's nice to see them gain victory one last time.... Really broke my heart to see them carelessly burned after being so alive....
But then again they had no remorse for killing in fact in the clone wars they looked like they enjoyed murder and death.
@@Tritonofclansakai2 they just enjoyed fulfilling their programmed objectives
@@Tritonofclansakai2 battle droids reprogrammed for service, farming or other domestic objectives are also super passionate about said tasks, Roger is the poster boy of being an example of that

Roger Roger.
I like how it shows how effortless the superbattle droids kill all the security
B2 were a menace
Now imagine what the B3 Ultra Battle droid could do
If you want the canon B2 experience, play Republic Commandos
Those things were no joke. A nightmare to bring down.
Best luck I had was a vibroblade stabbed a dozen times to the face plate. But that requires it to not have any friends
@theriveracis5172 bro I'm still scared of the first ones you fight in close quarters, mad bullet sponge
Also their voices, those damn screams live rent free in my head! Tough as old boots, heavily armed and a clanking nightmare!
I liked how the B2's jumped down to fight using their superior armor an firepower, while the B1's mostly stayed on the conveyer belt with suporting fire from a advantage point.
Except for the B1's that couldn't find a gun to use. They just straight up grappled them lol
@@Joetheknight406 B1's could always throw down, the problem was they weren't allowed to
Makes you think how they would’ve done if they weren’t held back. They were fighting the whole war at 40% strength
They quite literally had programming that could force missed shots.
Even clone commandos were baffled how the droids hadn’t just steam rolled the republic
I think you mean at 0.000.1 precent
@@kainthedragoon8081 That probably gonna be like Game of Republic Commando. Where you can only rely on tactic than rush in like clones do in Clone wars. Republic Commandos was quickly die if they come out in very stupid way without any tactic. You need to think and take droids by plan and coordination of your unit. You need to hit them with your intelligence than strength.
@@kainthedragoon8081 where did you get this info?
For the clone thing legends novel and a canon novel for the missing
"I used to be on the Empire's side but then I realized that the Empire destroyed the remaining CIS holdouts and I can't let the CIS go down like that."
- Ex Imperial B1 Battle Droid
I love this scene, I adore the B1s even though they're the villains I just feel so sorry for them, & seeing them just being carted off & melted down it's like seeing souls being cast into Hell, but they get woken up (& clearly confused at what's happening) & have one last hurrah
Late reply here, but I can not stop thinking about this scene and this "The Bad Batch" episode. Well, somebody in "Star Wars" recently said that droids are neither bad nor good. It depends on who made them/programmed them.
Very interesting analogy there with Hell and the souls. Maybe Lucasfilm did not look at it that way when they created the episode as the Separatist Alliance is usually overlooked and not as cared about by the owners of the franchise.
The last bit of your reply is why I love the sixth episode so much. It caused different kinds of reactions from me and it made me very happy. Trust me when I say this but if the battle droids were clones or rebels, Lucasfilm Animation would have given them twice and maybe three times the amount of hero moments and shots. But in the end of the day, beggers can't be choosers. I am very grateful that this episode of "The Bad Batch" exists.
They never were the villians, they were programmed to do what their name says: Go into the battlefield and kill people.
@@Klynamic Like Kuiil says in the Mandalorian, droids aren't good or bad. They are neutral reflections of those who imprint them.
They are not villains they are poor slaves
They are the slaves of the dark lord's war
"One last glorious day in the Separatist Droid Army."
Man, I'm so sad to see what happened to those battle droids. They were the best. At least they got some other hurrahs in Desix or Rebels.
This is the biggest Victory for the Droid army because they realize the clones and them were just pawns of war by Palpatine, and they work together at last.
real
They didn't realise, they were still under full influence of the tactical droid. They always just follow orders. And never got to realize there was another way...
even though they are injured, the separatists absolutely destroy those security droids
The Droid army was actually really good. They were deliberately nerfed so they'd lose, but just be strong enough to terrify the Republic's people.

This has been addressed before but the reason B1s are so “chatty” is because your average b1 has been resurrected and put to work so many times and put in so many roles. The skills, experience, as well as trauma they’ve endured have given them so much life it’s beginning to overload their computers and they’re offloading it by acting goofy to compensate. A b1 needs to know how to be an infantryman, a tank crew, a firefighter, a starship pilot, etc at a moments notice. Also, they don’t have their memories wiped like Republic droids. Don’t believe me? Watch S1E1 of the clone wars where a droid clearly states he’s just been promoted. How could this be if their memories are constantly being reset?
There may be billions of them but for every b1 you see acting silly, it’s really a warrior that’s seen too much combat to cope with.
You can even see this behavior here which makes it sort of morbid in a way. These are war veterans being melted down for parts to become part of yet another war. Not even the clones got it this bad. No one should. The empire is truly monstrous- they should have used these droids to police CIS worlds they occupied.
Sadly they couldn’t with how risky and easily the droids could be turned against them. Even if it saved resources due to how palpatine is he’d never allow that.
Honestly this makes sense especially with who’s the people supporting and funding the CIS. Bankers, investors, major corporations that would loooove to save just a quick buck on having to memory wipe every droid they produce
To be fair the Security droids in this episode felt like a cheaper commando droid
“Our service is not over yet! We are not decommissioned yet!” Some CIS soldier, maybe.
I really liked this part 0:43
I could almost feel droid sould be like: Clone! No wait... We have a diffrent order
I saw someone in this very comment section say the following: This has been addressed before but the reason B1s are so “chatty” is because your average b1 has been resurrected and put to work so many times and put in so many roles. That B1 must have fought so many clones, he was essentially used to shooting at them. True warrior, that droid was.
One last win for the underdogs. Rest well Nobel droids. We will see you again hopefully in the future
If you think about it, the Confederacy of Independent System started a war for getting their independence from the Republic as it was a corrupted institution controlled by powerful lobbies. The droids were made and melt just so Palpatine could have an excuse to make a war big enough to take the full powers from the senate, out of everyone, the CIS and its droid armies were the most used ones. Palpatine never even considered to keep them alive, they were alone against the biggest and richest institution the galaxy ever saw, the Jedis and Siths both and in the end they just wanted to be free.
It makes my angry and sad at the same time to see the poor guys smelting down.

They won’t go down without a fight
Long live the droids, long live the Seperatist Alliance!
Long live the Confederacy of Independent Systems!
One last charge into the fray, one last shout against the dying light! Rage! Rage against the dying of the light!
I'm still waiting on seeing Kalani in Bad Batch.
I know they won't, but I want to see some Battle Droids making a stand against Stormtroopers
I really hope I am wrong, but I doubt we will see Kalani on "The Bad Batch". It is hard to imagine a scenario in which he appears and somehow it does not conflict with his appearance on "Rebels".
I hope we do see more things connected to the Confederacy of Independent Systems in the future. I know we are going to visit Raxus by the end of the first season of "The Bad Batch" so I am talking beyond that episode or episodes. I would love to see a Separatist commander we have met before or maybe a new CIS character help Clone Force 99. It would be nice to have more Separatist characters that show that not everybody in the faction was not just an evil puppet of the Sith.
@@DanGrievous I couldn't have said it better myself Dan, I 100% agree with you.
@@DanGrievous No hear me out, what if we could see the Cis fleet making one of their last stands, trying to fend off the Empirial fleet but being overwhelmed by the Empires new star destroyers and Victory 1’s. It would be Kalani’s last stand before the support ship we see him in goes down and crashes on the planet where he’s presumed dead
@@CyberSkuII, seeing the final stand of a CIS fleet in something would be epic. And it would be even cooler if it ties to previous SW material. I am a fan of Kalani so I would welcome a new story with him. It sounds like peak "Star Wars" storytelling, but I am a biased because I am a CIS fan.
We have been shown many aspects of the CIS over the last decade, but the Separatist Navy has been the least explored or shown. Here's hoping one day we get a meaninful story moment for the Separatist Navy.
@@DanGrievous to be fair I’m biased too as a huge CIS fan 😅
FOR THE CIS!!!
I find it interesting how the series shows the end of the Republic with the destruction of the Cloning facilities, and the Separatists with the scrapping of the Droid army.
I like the Separatists so it was cool getting to see the Droids in action again.
The music for this scene is also great, because it has a short snippet of the Droid Army march, as they're activated. Great touch.
This is so sad... I loved the B1s so much... it breaks my heart to see them go out this way
Roger Rog- ok who the heck is Roger?
Truly is tragic that after all that happened in the clone wars the droid army just faded away from obscurity.

I love the Battle Droids, and the sight of them all just being tossed into the Lava is heart crushing to me, They fought for the Separatist only to be rewarded with a "Shut down", never to be used ever again =(
However I am glad to see them awake once more and fight one last time together as a Team, despite some being in bad condition, they still gave it their all to come out Victorious in the End 👍
this hits harder than their blasters

So good memories the droid army for me are too good and at least the battle droids the clones and Jedi are the true victims of the clone wars and also remember Kuiil lines “Droids are not good or bad. They are neutral reflections of those who imprint them”
I love how Empire at War, especially with mods like Awakening of the Rebellion, show Clone Wars era ground and space units still in use by all sides, especially the Rebels, and most especially the Black Sun pirates. There's even the ability for droids to stage a revolution and take over the Black Sun, the CIS come again in at least some form.

The good ending of star wars is the one where Dooku never meets Palpatine, forms something like the separatist alliance on his own with the intention of actually winning, trains Grievous, and claps the Republic's cheeks with a thousand-to-one troop advantage. Dooku institutes a new government based on real democratic ideals, Grievous eliminates the child-abducting theocratic cult known as the Jedi, and Palpatine ends up having to go into exile.
The good ending 😔
Grievous would likely cause trouble after the war's end, but i dont think he would be more of a problem than say, hutts or pikes.

i never really watch star wars but the Droid make me feel something about them they Feel alive and i care about them
Imagine the Separatist Alliance helps the Rebel Alliance, the New Republic, and the Resistance defeat the Galactic Empire, the First Order, and the Sith Eternal
I really wish the Rebel Alliance restore the Confederacy of Independent Systems (the Separatist Alliance) into a new one I always like them along with the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars
Well the rebels used cis starships and other vehicles for a while, those left over after the empire bombed the remaining resisting cis worlds
There are neo-separatist factions that emerge after the fall of the Empire. Look up the Confederacy of Corporate Systems and the New Separatist Union.
The seps never went away, they just got pushed underground
This brings a tear in my eye and a mix of joy and sadness.
If only Grievous could see them now, he would be so proud

Short but sweet! I think this is the same music you used for when Echo 'died' Wonderful work
Yes, I did. The subject matter of this newer video is closer to my heart and the old Echo video is very outdated - both in terms of what happened to the character in canon and how I edited that video.
Thanks for always watching my stuff, dude.

They did their duty as their program demands
Long live the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Separatist Alliance. Just remember they come back when the New Republic is formed and give a middle finger to them and the Empire. Makes me happy.
The Indomitable Machine Spirits that reside on those shells are to much for any force to bare.
Only the indomitable human spirit can bare it.
Got to love those Clankas!😊
remember boys "orders are orders"
How palpatine thought these guys would be wasted despite being mass produced and effective (much like the clones post the clone wars) and replaced them with inexperienced soldiers is beyond me. Even if generally stormtroopers are stronger, mass producing these guys (with a new coat of paint to avoid backlash from the senate) with the addition of clones and hiring stormtroopers would’ve made for a stronger empire.
I like to think that the droids that were activated had gone into hiding
Roger Roger
You know, I know Grievous was roasted, but I wish seconds before his ignition an instant cryogenic system would activate and preserve his brain to bring him back.
"The Empire says lives are expendable for their soldiers. the CIS Fought with droids to protect lives"
For the Sepratist Alliance.
If you think about it, destroying the Droid army was a net waste. That is a lot of hands that only require power and maintenance. Maybe not as battle droids but repurposed for maintenance, development and agriculture purposes. Probably what the CIS would have done with them anyway.
Maybe Not agriculture, im Sure they have better Equipment for that but they could have been very usefull for utility Tasks and Security on imperial Installations, space Stations, Cargo Transports, and to Police recaptured seperatist worlds, Just repaint them Gray and reprogram them.
@@velorn8927 The B1s were the perfect design for a Jack of all trades droid. Sure they might not be great at anything, but they'd be cheap and a lot more competent than the usual Budget models (like pit droids). OOM Command Droids were even smart enough to ask questions and use logic.

I’ll say it and I don’t care if I get booed. A single B1 is worth three imperial stormtroopers, that’s how shit the Empire is.
