I'm really glad that was helpful to you because it's that easy to fix it. But now you can just go right into Alienware command center and put your tag number into your Dell computer and it'll give you the download and it'll work fine before it didn't have that but it just happened to work and I was like I'm going to put this on tube. So the reality is you really don't even have to do all that s*** and go into command center you can just go in and do what my video says and then it automatically updates it so you don't have to go through the Alienware command center pain in the ass downloading system you can just click repair I'm glad you're happy I really appreciate it I'm glad to help others cuz I spent so much time figuring this out but now it doesn't matter cuz it's kind of an old video but it seems to still be helping people so thank you

I had a problem where the sound was 2.0, and in some applications it was 7.1 even uninstalling on windows 11 it continued like this. Then I went back to 10 and solved the problem. Now that I bought a new pc with i9, the motherboard supports windows 11. I'll test it again to see how it goes. Thank u for the tips!
I found that you just have to go right into apps and click on modify and fix because a lot of the apps are from Windows 10 and they need to be modified for Windows 11 it's kind of really strange how they did this. You just have to keep playing with it until they get this thing right

Glad it worked most people end up downloading two programs of Alienware command center and their files that's usually the problem but there's several different things that can go wrong you're right Dell is a bunch of imbeciles in my kidney I canceled my Dell account I've had for years and I'm not ordering computers so I'm anymore other idiots I'm just building my own now my basement they're better.

Well just to let you know it didn't happen in a couple hours it took many hours of failure to finally figure it out in some cases some people don't seem to be able to fix it on their PCs so I'll never buy Dell again it's a trash product. I've actually canceled my account with them and literally told them some profanity and how I felt about Dell because I was so pissed about the last two products I purchased from them which were very expensive so I'd highly recommend never buy anything from Dell again or Alienware cuz Alienware used to be really good stuff until Dell bought them out and ruined it. Build your own desktops and look for different brands of laptops there's plenty of them out there that are really good Della's trash will never do business again I've been doing business with them for well over 20 years.

I commented a couple months ago but my laptop had to be reset. Now, I have a new app called Alienware Command Center Package Manager, and Alienware Command Center Suite only shows "Please wait while Windows configures Alienware Command Center Suite" when pressing modify. After a couple minutes, the message disappears and does nothing, but moving around the loading box keeps it going for some weird reason. The Package Manager and Suite are unable to be uninstalled. I have tried everything but it doesn't seem to be working.
By the way, Alienware Command Center does not show up anywhere on my laptop

Using run, I typed in "appwiz.cpl" and was able to attempt a repair. Now, it shows fatal error during installation
Honestly you have a corrupted file of some type. I don't know what to tell you. Just do a full factory reset and say whatever you want a thumb drive and start over. Quit battling with it and get rid of everything. Mine works perfectly fine on my laptop and my desktop so I don't know what to tell you sounds like a complete disaster just factory reset and make your life easy won't take you that long to put everything you want back together.
i have an owned alienware x14 and i am installing the command center but when i do it doesnt work and i have 2 of them in my files
You have to go in your files and erase everything that has anything to do with Alienware command center cuz there's a corrupted file and it won't allow you to download it so get rid of all of those out of your file erase them and then go to the Alienware command center website and use your service code and type it in and it'll give you the right download. I think that's the only way you're going to be able to do it because I don't know which download is corrupted so I would just recommend a race both of them and do what I told you go to the Alienware command center website just Google it and then you'll see where you can type in your service number that's on the back your computer if that doesn't work you can just manually type what model your computer is and you should still be able to get the right download the problem you're having is you have too many files you need to get rid of everything that has anything to do with it and start from scratch at this point. I had the same problem and I'm having no problems and everything works great if you have any questions feel free to ask me. Also going to your apps and erase all Alienware downloads in your apps. Then you'll be able to download a fresh new Alienware command center that will fit your model computer and it'll work.

Go to the Alienware command center website. I believe his son the video that you go there and there's a place you can put the service number on your computer and it'll pick out which program suits your computer. If that does not work then you need to go and manually put in what computer you have then download that program but if you've already tried you got to watch the video. You have to erase everything that has anything to do with Alienware command center are any of that out of all your files apps and look at places you wouldn't normally look just to make sure nothing got stuck somewhere in your files you have to get rid of all that are all corrupt the program that you're trying to install very easy. Go to Alienware command centers website push that in Google take you right there.

Actually mine works fine I can change the lighting on the keyboard what else would you use FX for it's not a desktop so you don't have lighting on your fans or other glowing things on your motherboard. Sounds like you need to go into files and erase every single that says Alienware command center.
Then go into apps and erase and check the whole computer for any type of files that are downloaded anywhere because that's usually why it doesn't work you have a corrupted file that you tried to download or happen when you did your first download. I have too many hours in this not to know, then go Google Alienware command center go into the website and put in your tag number and download it again and see what happens it'll work if you pay attention to the comments which is so many you're one of many that said the same thing and they did what I told them it works fine what do you think your g15 is it's Alienware parts just without the nice cooling system and upgrades so they can charge 4grand I have two Alienware computers I know it is you being stubborn and you don't want don't know how to fix it correctly. You got to work harder and go into files and erase everything go to apps and erase that file completely and start from scratch and the next download you get it'll work fine try it it'll work. You have a corrupted file I can choose whatever lighting I want on my g15 I just bought it because it was cheap and now that I've got it fixed by the technicians it works great I really like it now for the money so it can be done you just have a corrupted file somewhere just be open-minded you can find that it works too many stubborn computer people but don't want to be open-minded and listen to anyone I live next to a micro center the mother store in Columbus Ohio and then they're all the time and I get a job there tomorrow if I wanted so go ahead and keep believing that cuz they sell Alienware equipment and they're also along with their equipment and different computer companies so yeah you can do it good luck.

I had reset my pc as I was having many technical issues, I then have been trying to reinstall Alienware command center, it just lets me downloads package manager but I don’t want that I want the command center just so I can be able to change the colors again but when I do, it says it is not compatible with my software. You have to follow the directions in the video and if they don't work. Then you'll have to go in to files and erase every single file you have that says Alienware command center. And the Alienware command center website and go ahead and put the surface number in and it should give you the right download. You got to make sure you erase everything off your files and you haven't missed anything get everything out of your apps before you can download Alienware command center cuz there's one download in your bile or your app it's not going to do it correctly. That's my experience. Clean everything from files to apps and then go and pull up the download and download again. If that doesn't work you're going to be one of ten thousand people didn't work or so just make sure you don't leave any files from Alienware command center anywhere erase everything it seems to inhibit the download that you're trying to download.

Did you go in the files and erase everything that says Alienware command center because if you haven't then that would be why. Because you got to corrupt the file and you keep trying to run a download and that's stopping you from doing it. Going to apps erased Alienware command center race everything that says the only one command center then go into files and go through everything and erase everything and I mean everything that says Alienware command center go to Alienware command center website then download fresh new download on your computer using your serial number on your Dell computer then it'll give you the exact download that computer is supposed to have if not manually put it in and put your computer modeling and get the download that way obviously this video is old but I have also just did this to my own computer just to see if it's still work cuz people keep asking me this question after 5 years it works mine works great I have no problem if you follow the directionslike a racing everything in your files that says Alienware command center and going into apps and erasing all of that then you'll be on your way to downloading a fresh new download and it'll work great let me know if you have any problems

So basically it's going to be the same video but updated cuz it sounds like people are still having problems cuz I think this video is like what four years old or something do me a favor and if you're still having problems watch the new video and it should clean up any problems that you have now it's very simple process in your case my first instinct is you have a corrupt Alienware command center file that needs to be removed and then surprisingly it's just going to download a great one you need to control your fan speed your lights everything

Well all I can say is you're going to have to go to your files like I tell everyone because you most likely have two sets or more of command center download files. So it's corrupting you to repair it or do a new download you have to erase everything and anything to do with Alienware command center go to the main website and re-download the correct download to your computer. Only after you go through every one of your files and make sure you erased everything that says Alienware command center and go to apps and erase everything. GO TO THE ALIENWARE COMMAND CENTER WEBSITE USE YOUR SERVICE TAG TO PICK THE RIGHT DOWNLOAD OR DO IT MANUALLY. MAKE SURE THE DOWNLOAD YOU PICK IS THE RIGHT DOWNLOAD TO YOUR PC
My thermal gaming settings not loading all and my boost cooling fans don’t work, so does anyone knows what does it do that and how do I fix it exactly?
Do you have Alienware command center FX version. You got to make a personal setting in thermal and put them on a hundred percent because this laptop gets way too hot. If you're going to game on ag15 You need to have Alienware command center. If not find one that you can control your fans on 100% Afterburn isa real good one if you like that if you're having problems with Alienware command center. You may have to go into files and erase everything that has anything to do with Alienware command center. Then going to apps erase all that and go straight to Alienware command center download. You'll find one or you can punch on the service tag on your laptop that will give you the right download that will be compatible with your laptop.. if that doesn't work you'll just have to go through and find the download that goes with your g15 or whatever laptop you have. That's what I would recommend erase everything that's ending do Alienware command center cuz you probably haven't corrupted file that's hiding somewhere and files get rid of everything that has anything to do with this command center. I find the problem being sometimes if you have Eleanor command center already on your laptop and then you try to download it again you end up with to downloads on your files and then it gets corrupted to get our race at all and start over. Honestly I had to do a full factory reset and then start from scratch so put everything you like on the thumb drive and just do a factory reset if that doesn't work then it needs service that G5 button you're supposed to push to make the fans turn hires the biggest BS I've ever seen in my life it doesn't work so don't even bother with it. Honestly I'm never buying a Dell product to get in my entire life. Follow the instructions on the video if that doesn't work erase everything and files and apps like I said and start over and redownload of fresh version of Alienware command center look for your service tag number which should have a white background on some numbers on it you'll find it type that in I just got a fresh download. Go to thermals do a custom made fan speed which I put it on 100%. You have to game at 100% on a g50 laptop it's just gets too way too hot. If none of that works you're going to have to get it serviced. When mine came at used to get so hot I called del I had a warranty though so they send someone out three times to find out that someone put wires on backwards on the fan from the power supply. After they fix that and put a new board and some other stuff my computer works absolutely wonderful I love my laptop now. I had a lot of problems with mine for I got it right. First do and I told you the video of that doesn't work then erase everything like I said enough then if that doesn't work factory reset for sure.

Didn’t have the Alienware OC Controls but I didn’t realize I deleted it by accident and didn’t know that was extremely important to the system and after I looked to ur video I’m like what’s missing that I don’t have and I found out that I don’t have the 👉🏻 Alienware OC controls 👈🏻 and so I went to goggle chrome and downloaded it and didn’t work tow times cus didn’t get the right version and then I re tired anther version after searching for a bit and now
It all good and working the way it should and again if it wasn’t for ur video I wouldn’t be able to fix it easily and be still struggling!

Hello sir how many hours of battery backups you are getting for a normal usage? I am getting only 1:30 hour, really bad battery backups
Gaming hard with everything on gaming quality you're about right it's bad I get 2 hours and I have everything set up high quality for gaming no battery saving nothing on you're exactly right. If you set setting to more conservative level than it'll last longer but in your gaming quality would suck but me personally I always have it plugged in the wall anyhow rarely am I just gaming without the computer plugged in. I've been using it for other things when you're not gaming and doing normal office use it lasts a while gaming just really drains it hard you think you get more but you're about right

On the laptop’s specification it claims 8 hours of battery backups for normal usage. My friend’s ASUS ROG g14 gives 7-8 hours of battery backups in normal usage.

You got to get to repair this is the first time I've heard of anything like this so 1 of 100,000 people I don't know what to do to help you at this point if you can't find repair erase everything on a files and erase everything on an apps and go into Alienware command center put in your service number find the right download and redownload it but you have to get rid of all files and apps so there's nothing to corrupt the new file that's going to be downloaded off the Alienware command center website.
You can only do that on Windows 11 by the way I don't know what you're on or what. Just click the three dots and get to repair it repair say yes to everything if that doesn't work go back to the last comment and do what I told you.

And if that doesn't work then you're really going to have to go into your files like I said and erase everything also erase your apps and start from scratch reload a new download off of the Alienware command center site. You're going to have to make sure you have the right service number to your laptop which should be somewhere on there I can't remember on the bottom? Make sure you erase every single file as anything to do with Alienware command center you might have a corrupted files so you can't do a fresh download unless you erase everything. Let me know how it goes. If you're still having problems you might have to factory reset but that's kind of a pain cuz I'm sure you got a lot of video games on there you're going to lose and have to start over so try to do everything I said I've done it all and it works. I've only had like four people tell me they couldn't get it done out of 30 thousand people so it'll work you just got to be patient and smart about it you'll be alright let me know.

I'm so glad that you got back with me because I was on the phone with Dell today for 4 hours and 22 minutes so I do know how to fix it but there's only one way but it's impossible and I'm going to send you a message in a minute on how to fix that because if you look through the messages many other people have asked me the same thing about FX cuz you want different colors on your computer which I don't care about but I understand cuz I love colors and stuff.

Sadly I've already uninstalled AWCC and tried to download through the Downloader, but it keeps saying it gets "interrupted". Now that I know this, I regret doing that.
It happened to me to the problem is you need to go through all your files and find anything that has anything to do with Alienware command center erase it. Most likely have to downloads in your files which is corrupting you to be able to download a fresh version it's worked for 30,000 people I know you can do. Go through your files and you'll find something that says Alienware command center erase all of that its corrupted get rid of the apps and start fresh. Or get rid of it and you something else mine is working wonderful perfect I can change the lights on my keyboard I have automatic fan settings for when I'm gaming to keep it cool. You have a corrupted file somewhere that you need to erase so you can get a good download that's your problem. Had the same issue if it doesn't work for you do a factory reset then you can start over and nothing will work perfectly fine I also did that. This piece of trash computer is garbage but you bought it like I did I have a warranty so I made him come out and replace everything so there might be don't deal with Dell anymore their trash. But if you do what I tell you you'll get it to work correctly you're just not erasing the corrupted files. And you need to make sure you use your service number to find the right download cuz there's multiple downloads for Alienware command center FX it has to match your computer so if you do the wrong download YouNow corrupted your computer so that's your problem most likely if not factory reset and quit fighting it and move on start over if you can't get it done. That's Wise information I just gave you. Go through all of the comments and read them and you'll get some more people's ideas of what they've done to help you.

If you already have a Alienware command center in your files it will completely corrupt the new download. And you got to go to the apps and erase everything go through every file in your files and get rid of. If that doesn't work literally go into reset factory settings. It'll be better than it ever was when you got it. Yeah just been battling with so issues with my brain from them stabbing out of my brain sometimes I just don't leave my house it's weird. I've been really getting into PC gameplay a lot more than console I don't know if we'll be able to go back to PlayStation I'm having so much fun on the PCS it's just such a better experience I forgot it what it's like to play on PlayStation I look at it and I don't even want to play it anymore cuz my three gaming PCs are awesome I have three terabytes of games downloaded between the three so there's always a game ready to play and then you take the PlayStation there's another terabyte that's four terabytes of games ready to play now I love it

No help from Alienware I'll tell you that and I have an Alienware computer also not just this cheap laptop I bought last Christmas for cheap cuz they were trying to ditch him but I'll tell you what I really like the laptop a lot it's wicked perfect for me game whenever I want on it take it with me I don't have a laptop in a long time I'm pretty happy I'm glad I made the purchase it just had a lot of problems at the beginning and a lot of technicians came over like three times to fix it and I finally just put new everything in it and now it's fine it's just imbeciles build these things and I think I'm just going to stick with it now that it's fixed correctly and not buy anything for a while honestly. None of the g5s come with Alienware you have to download the app yourself it just had problems at the beginning and I'm showing how to fix it but it's all Alienware equipment inside the G5 it just doesn't have the cooling system that's as good as the Alienware but you can still use the command center with the G5 laptop just download it and put in your serial number and it'll tell you which download that you need and you download it and it'll work fine I promise you I've done it I just put it on my other gaming computer too and then my other gaming computer it didn't work because it was 2019 so it works on older models even too I've already have four gaming computers I can promise you it works just try it again
When I install Alienware Commend Center, it does not recognize my laptop. What should I do? model:g15 5530
There's two things number one you did not choose the right program there's many different programs so you're not choosing the right Alienware command center program for your laptop is what I've been told when I asked a question to Alienware. If you go to Alienware command center's website you'll see a place where you can type in the product number that Dell gives you on your laptop(usually it's a number that's on a sticker on the back of your laptop black with white letters or just look for anything like that if you have taken it off don't worry) and it'll automatically choose the right program for your laptop if you haven't tried that that's what you need to do. If not type in the search bar exactly what model g15 you have and then it'll give you which program to pick and it should work fine if it doesn't then it means you've already tried to download it too many times so you need to go into your files and look everywhere for anything that has anything to do with Alienware and do exactly what I said in the video but what's most important is you might already have an Alienware program that's downloaded in your files you need to erase all of that out of your files. Cuz those files are corrupted cuz they're not meant to be downloaded on this computer but they still download but they're just corrupted so you need to get rid of them so you can download a fresh new download that will work so erase everything that says anything about Alienware out of your files going to every place in your files just to make sure there's not a accidentally hidden one somewhere which I found. Going the apps and erase everything that has anything to do with Alienware and get rid of it all. Start from scratch double check that everything's gone and apps go in your files make sure there's nothing then go to Alienware command center usually the number that Dell puts on your computer you can type that in where it says literally type in product number I think it may say a different wording but you'll understand it's really easy it just has a box where you type it in and then you hit search next to it and it'll pull it up and then it'll ask you if you want to download it you download it it should work. If it says it can't find one then you're going to have to manually put it in on the box I believe below and make sure that you have the right g15 and everything you need otherwise you're going to have to call Dell and ask him what the product number is to your computer but you'll be able to find it it'll work I've spent hours trying to deal with this trust me it's not easy but you'll get it because I've already done hours of work on this so if you follow this it'll work. Worst possible scenario is you'll have to do a factory reset.

@@bopitbull3957 I deleted all awcc files on the computer as you said, although it was a bit tricky, but I couldn't find the place to enter the code on the alienware site. Are you talking about dell's driver installation page? I already downloaded it from there.

Try updating it an apps or do I tell you in the video and just rip everything Alienware command center out of your files don't leave one behind erase everything that's Alienware command center make sure it's all gone. Go to the app type in your service number computer and I'll tell you which downloads you need re-download it works for me I have not a problem since I did that people keep telling me they're having problems I think it's just because they're leaving a corrupt file behind in files that seems to be the problem most of the time.
i copied the following comment from another post so i don't have to write it out again(for alienfx device not found)... this should say alienfx device but either way i found the solution on my system. you must have the awcc install manager installed on your system which is on your device's dongle (little usb thingy) after that installed i launched the command center and it said to restart the computer and after i did it works yay

Erase everything that you have that says Alienware command center an apps and then look through all your files for anything that resembles Alienware command center erase everything you have a corrupted file. And then go to Alienware command center website and upload the brand new one and it will work. How to talk to a thousand people that passed 4 years about this it'll work you just have to make sure that you erase everything and start fresh.
Most the time it's because someone tried to download it more than once so you have multiple files and you got to make sure you clean everything out have a nice evening.
My Alienware Command Center suite says "Failed to complete installation." Please help!
Like I've told everyone you have to go through your files and erase every possible thing that has anything to do with Alienware. Do not miss one file get rid of all of it. Erase all the apps then go to Alienware command center website and type in the service number of your computer to get the right download. Type in what computer you have and try to see if the right download pops up its weird it'll give you the wrong download I've had so many problems I haven't dealt with this in a while so there's been some changes but reality is it's going to end up being the same thing. My recommendation is to do a factory reset save everything you care about another thumb drive and start over that is what I had to do.
Honestly dells a piece of garbage and I'm never buying anything from them again. But we have these laptops now so we just got to make the best of them that's all I can say. I got mine working perfectly I can change the colors of the lights on my keyboard I can make whatever custom settings I want for the fans. It'll work you just got a corrupted file somewhere most likely. And if that fails factory reset.

Well I don't really know what to tell you do you have Windows 11 cuz there's some serious problems that no one's willing to admit that I have come to understand a little bit I just left micro center not that stupid but not that smart but reality is I would probably do what everyone else is going to tell you uninstall all of it and then going to Alienware command center and write down whether it's Windows 10 or Windows 11 and what the model number is and try to reinstall it obviously that's the dumbest thing but that's what you should do I'm sure you've already tried it if not download Windows 10 version and then go into your app like the video says and click on it like I tell you and then it'll fix itself to Windows 11 some people have no problems I happen to have this problem that's the only way to fix it that's the only thing I can tell you I'm not exactly sure. I'm just insane that's all I'll figure it out it'll take me longer than others but I'll figure it considering no one else could I have hours invested in this BS I'll never buy anything from Dell or Alienware ever again. I have two Alienware computer is a Dell computer and this laptop I'll never purchase anything again I've purchased so many things in the past from del I'm through I cancelled my account canceled my financial account with them I'm done.
What if I already uninstalled and deleted ACC and its components from my G15 and now the Installshield Wizard won't work?
Do a factory reset because that doesn't make any sense if that's broken then I would just do a factory reset and start over cuz you must have erased something otherwise the program wouldn't be broken. I think you know what I mean there's multiple different programs in your files if you accidentally erased part of wizard and wizards not going to work so at this point it will be hours and hours if not weeks of someone trying to fix your computer and charging a lot of money so why don't you just do a factory restart and start over that's what I would do it's not like you can't re-download any games you have unless you got important pictures on your drive just take them and download them onto a thumb drive and then start over that's going to be what I would do I'm sure someone's going to tell you something better but at that point that means your computer is completely jacked up you erase something you shouldn't have but I don't know I'm guessing. Number one get a thumb drive download everything that you care about on the thumb drive and do a factory reset and then go back in later and download Alienware command center off their website by using the tag on your g15 I guarantee it will work fine then something has gone wrong with your computer that I can't tell you how to fix on a text so do a factory reset that's why I always keep my pictures and stuff on thumb drives and SD cards and stuff a lot of people don't use SD cards but I still do cuz I transfer all my pictures onto my office computer which has an SD card and I still have a bunch of this like use it quite frequently and also fits into one of my cameras so I don't know what to tell you I'm just going to tell you factory reset save everything you don't want to lose on a thumb drive and start over it's way to go it's going to be just like you bought it when it was new and then I guarantee you'll be fine.

You might want to ask me that question again I don't really understand what you mean and that sentence. I think you mean the G button which turns the fans up I don't use that it doesn't work as far as I'm concerned I think that's what you mean otherwise you're going to have to ask me the question again I just set different settings in Alienware command center like one for gaming which I put the fans on 100% on CPU and GPU and then I usually use balanced it seems to work the best when you're just using it for office or streaming.
My AWCC still don’t work while I open the app it show me that I have to update all the time but when I click update it doesn’t work idk why I still confused. My laptop is G5 2022. Btw I did everything like you but it doesn’t work.

@@bankfoodball you do know you have to go in the files and erase all the Alienware command documents so there's not one download in a document or anywhere on that PC and then redownloaded it and get the same problem. Go in the documents and go looking download look for anything that says Alienware command center for Alienware command center setup or anything that sounds like that and erase it and then going to apps and erase all Alienware command center apps any point out of the funeral every single file make sure there's nothing this is Alienware command center then redownload it through the Alienware command center website put your tag number to your laptop and download it there's one contaminated folder somewhere in your files and download check them all though then redownload it and then go ahead and go into apps click on the three dots on the right and then go to repair like the video tells you to do and then hit yes yes on everything and you should be able to get to work cuz mine works great there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do it there's some kind of contaminated folder somewhere in your files is my only gas to you my friend I had to go through and erase everything

What computer do you have this laptop you don't need to do fresh Windows install they're just a few things you can get by and update the one you got there's a few little tricks tell me what the problem is I don't understand why you would do a total Windows install you don't need to unless you don't have this laptop or Alienware computers or something I don't know what it is I'm 53 years old I bought thousands of computers in the past 6 years I'm building one right now I would like to help you because I don't think you have to do that there's some tricks to get Windows 11s to update if that's what you're having problems with give me a brief description of what your problem is with Windows 11 I probably can tell you how to fix it pretty easily cuz it's tricky at times once you get the first download then you're good to go I know you know a lot about computers I'm just saying sometimes in this situation I got so many hours in the same problem you're talking about and getting this laptop fixed is insane I got my alien command center dialed in big time tell me what you got bro I can probably tell you how to fix it in three sentences or I'll do a video for you but I am so busy today it's insane I don't think I have time to do it I have like 200 Mego action figures I got to work on today before Christmas 100 other toys antique tables I am blasted today so busy but send me something because tonight I might sit back and relax and do a little video for you and I'll let you know it's easy bro you don't have to re-download windows I even got a video that I'll pull up and tell you where to go to get by the glitch on the new download on Windows 11 that's probably your problem I'm not having that problem but a lot of people are and it sounds like that is what your problem is and as far as Alienware command center goes once you fix that if you follow my directions you should have command center and it'll work perfectly if you on the same laptop or any Dell product that matter

If my little trick doesn't work for you then go straight to Alienware command center type that in Google and go straight to that site click on it and scroll down get the tag number off your computer and there's a place to type your tag number in and then it'll tell you which download to download onto your PC that works with whatever model you have click on that let it download it say yes and accept everything you're fine it'll download go into your start menu throw it down on your taskbar click on it go in there look for uploads if they say so upload them and then go and adjust everything how you want it if you don't know how to adjust Alienware command center there's a hundred videos of people showing you how to do it. You shouldn't be having any problems with Windows 11 there's only one glitch right now for a download and I can send you this guy's channel and he'll tell you how to fix it so you don't have to redownload Windows 11 that sounds like a f****** nightmare I wouldn't do that.

@@MathOwz I ran into the same problems at the beginning myself. This is what you need to do I know how to fix it now cuz this is what I had to do you ready. Going to your files and look for Alienware command center in a race and downloads Alienware command center and everything that you see in downloads in your files and then erase every single file that you can find look through everything and all your files just search through your files look for anything that says Alienware command center you have to erase everything on your files as anything to do with Alienware command center it should say Alienware command center there might be two or three or four files you've downloaded that are in there which are corrupting you from making a fresh download. So go to files and go to downloads first and erase all of your Alienware command center stuff just cancel it erase it get rid of it. Then take time and go through all your files and make sure there's not a secret file that says Alienware command center that somehow downloaded on something else that's usually what happens with having problems downloading anything you're missing a file that's corrupting the new download I hope this makes sense it's pretty easy. I'll try to do a video today and it'll explain the problem people are having I'm getting these messages. Go to files search and erase everything you find with Alienware command center and after you've done that obviously erase everything in apps that has anything to do with Alienware command center. Go to your start menu if there's anything in there obviously click on it and erase it and apps and files. Then go to the Alienware command center put in your tag number and do a fresh download and it should take it then the reason you're having this problem is because you still download file that's corrupting you from getting your download I hope I'm explaining this good enough I'm going to do a video today and look for it and it should be better explanation for you I'm really busy so it's going to be a quick video I'm going to do it off my phone like I did before and just hold it up to my screen but it'll be nothing explanation or you'll be able to fix it

I7 11800h RTX 3060 wish I would have got the RTX 3060 TI but they came out obviously the next month with the ti puts out early care I just needed a good laptop for cheap they were giving them away during Christmas plus I had a discount from Dell I'm happy I'm building up another computer anyhow plenty of PCS why are you having problems with your laptop
I have a tech come out pretty much replaced the motherboard found two wires that were misplaced that's why I was heating up so hot now I'm running about 90 to 92° with a really nice laptop cooler with one giant fan on it if you're going to game you got to get a giant laptop cooler with a huge fan you can find don't buy the one with multiple fans by the lap top cooler with one giant fan it cools way better it's only like 10 or 12 more dollars
Windows 11 is fine with me I like it I don't know why people are complaining you're going to have to go to it anyhow it's an easy fix. Every time Windows changed people complained I think Windows 11 is the best it's only going to get better I don't really care about privacy anymore they're always watching anyhow who cares

I don't really understand what your comment meant forgive me but I think it's very important when gaming on this particular laptop that you have your fans on 100% and if you're streaming and doing gaming videos and you're going to have a little bit of fan noise in the background but this thing gets pretty hot if you love your fans on 100% on CP or GPU on a gaming setting in Alienware command center you're going to heat up pretty good you can put it on balance balance still heats up a little bit more than I like but tell me what setting that you like that you put it on and also what do you mean not using it me not using it in gaming I don't even think it's an option in my opinion so explain to me of that cuz I'm all ears and I'm curious how you do it if you could I'd really appreciate it because maybe I'm missing something I'm not a genius I just spend lots of hours and research trying to figure out the best way of getting this laptop which is cheaply made but can become a good gaming computer at 1080p I even run it on 1440p and it works great on another monitor so I'm pretty happy with the RTX 3060 laptop version it doesn't seem to work much worse than the regular rtx360 thanks for your comment send me a message back I really want to hear what you have to say thank you I'm in my car voice texting so just makes sense of this thanks

@@Aditya_Chaudhari09 do you have warranty on this laptop sounds like it has problems most of them do mine did add a technician come to my house put a new motherboard new GPU CPU everything it probably got really hot possibly so hopefully about the warranty if not you'll have to figure it out what you're going to do because these things get hot Intel can take hotter temperatures than rizon I've been hearing people that didn't get the Intel chips the CPUs burning up cuz the thing gets really hot get up laptop cooler with the 15 mm fan I think it's like 7 in width for a 15 or a 17-in laptop and just put that thing around on top that's going to help your temperatures cool down extremely well leave that puppy on 100% if you're gaming if you still are having problems you got internal issues

@@Aditya_Chaudhari09 how many months running hot you're going to lose frames per second can't let that thing get hot bro this thing is a freaking disaster in my opinion I'm just trying to make things work for people that's all I'm trying to do over here cuz I already spent weeks trying to figure this out in my case I bought the warranty and I just said get over here and replace this thing they replace the whole guts they should have gave me a new one I don't understand but I was like no I don't want a new one I'd rather have an expert come over and the guy looked at and goes yeah this whole thing is a disaster and they replaced everything and it's just working so sick now it's unbelievable I was jamming cyberpunk like a madman and I was getting heat levels that were insane now when I play it after they replaced everything it's staying around 90°, which is okay for these laptops because they put parts in here that supposedly can handle 90°. They say up to 100s okay I disagree with them that's why I went and bought the extra cooling system and I bought another fan that was lithium that goes on the back of the laptop that blows air on it and it just works like a gem I'll try to take a picture of the fan I bought and try to get one that's really cheap and you can plug it in and charge it and it lasts for about 4 4 hours it's like 13 bucks and the thing is wicked I found it at Target but you can also buy it online good luck with your system I hope that you have warranty because you have warranty call them immediately and say hey is my g15 still in warranty and then set up technicians to come out immediately that would be my advice to you if not you're going to have to figure out another way and I think that you might be okay is what I'm hoping you just need to go by yourself 25 $30 laptop cooler to put underneath it get the big boy with the big fan I think it's a 15 mm fan or I measured is 7 in across for a 15in to 17in laptop it absolutely is insane how cool it keeps it. Hello, if you can help me, I am ready to reward you for the solution. My problem started 6 months ago after my Dell G7700 laptop updated to windows 11 version 22H2, and updated the Bios. I lost the keyboard light. I tried many methods of deleting, repairing and installing Alienware Command Center, without any results. I decided to do a factory reset. Even on Windows 10, the Alienware Command Center stopped working, it gave me the error > "no supported alienfx devices were detected". Again, I updated Windows and Bios, and exactly like that without any result. Now, after 6 months, I decided to go back to solving this problem because I miss the keyboard light a lot, I wanted to update the drivers and when I try to install Support Assist it gives me an error: Installation Failed, I tried to install Dell Update but again without a positive result. I watched your videos on youtube but nothing worked for me. My laptop seems to have lost its connection with Dell. So I will be grateful if you can help me.
My first guess is you need to go in files you need to look at every file that says Alienware command center download or anything with Alienware on it at all and erase everything Alienware command center. You can't miss one file if you have a corrupted file. I didn't see where you mentioned that but maybe you've already done this but I would do it again and check. Because all the downloading that you've done most likely might have multiple Alienware command center files which is going to cause you to have serious problems. You said you did a factory reset and that usually always fixes the problem no matter what as long as you're redownloading the right Alienware command center program. Mine's working perfectly and I had some of the same issues you have had. Sounds like you've had a long battle with this I would take the easy way out I would have gone to my files and erase everything has anything to Alienware command center & erase everything in apps. Go to the Alienware command center website and type in your service code which should still be on your laptop and that should give you the right program to download now you must likely you've done this because if you get the wrong download for whatever reason it allows you to download the wrong one to your computer and that seems to be one of the problems a lot of people have had. You might have to do another factory reset and still go into your files after that factory reset is over and you're done and putting all your information back on your computer and see if there's any thing in your file that have remotely says Alienware command center and get rid of it and start from scratch I've had to do it twice. There has to be a corrupted file cuz you should be able to change the color lights on your command center I have a little bit different laptop than you do once g 15 I bought it last year I think I don't even remember I have multiple computers I think it is awesome for the money an Alienware command center Works absolutely wonderful on it so there's no reason it can't work on yours.you said you haven't done anything with it in 6 months what I would do is do a factory reset and then go into files even though you did a factory reset and just take a look and see if there's anything that says Alienware command center be done with it erase it go to Alienware command center website put in your service tag of your computer and it'll give you the exact download you're supposed to have download that and you should be fine make sure you only push it once cuz you can push it twice and get impatient because it is something that makes me very impatient and you end up with two download files you're going to be right back where you were before. I spent hours on this so I really understand how to fix it. Before you do the factory reset just go ahead and try to erase all your files all your apps and then go into Alienware command center and download the new one maybe that'll work right away you obviously have already tried to hit repair like I said in the video so if that didn't work then you're going to have to go that way. All fails are going to have to do another factory reset I know this probably wasn't much help but keep on it and make sure you don't leave any cropping files behind erase everything that has anything to do with Alienware command center.
I solved Game Shift button function not working with:
Reactivating Dell Start up Settings on.
Activate All Dell Inicialization Programs.
Latter you can Deactivate each one individually to find out wich you can deactivate in order to consume les RAM with inutile process.

Erase all files of Alienware command center erase everything and apps that says Alienware command center and redownload it on the Alienware command center website and put your service tag in your G 15 laptop and get the right download and it works fine. I had the same problem that's why I did this video you just have to make sure that you get rid of all corrupted files you obviously have a corrupted file somewhere so check every possible place and files make sure there's not a hidden file somewhere and get rid of it and redownload it will work. Mine works fine I can change the colors on my keyboard I can make my own custom gaming fan speeds that work fine you've got a corrupted file. Just be patient and go through everything and erase all of it. For some reason there's many different Alienware command center uploads if you don't get the right compatible one it doesn't work and wouldn't you know they send you can send you the wrong download which absolutely makes no sense but unfortunately it's a fact so you're going to have to just erase it and start over. Just sit back and erase everything and start over to be fine if not you're going to have to do a factory reset and save all the things that you care about on a thumb drive. I actually did that and I have no problems ever since I did a factory reset after the factory reset I went and made sure I downloaded the right Alienware compatible and it works great. @@bankfoodball good luck you'll have to do a factory reboot if you do a new download that doesn't work. I did but it was easy because I didn't have that many documents that I cared about. Oh my video games are all saved on steam and Xbox and Playstation online so I just don't even have much downloaded on my computer. I'm writing a couple books I just download those on a thumb drive and just a factory reboot. Honestly I'll never buy a Dell or Alienware computer again in my life. End up having to upgrade Amal anyhow because they give you the thinnest equipment possible so I'm just going to build my own it'll only take me an afternoon I'm done playing with Dell.

Hey i have a g15 ryzen edition. While gaming temps are at 93° c (lock). When i turn g mode on they shoot up to 100°c . Can you help
Download Alienware command center just type that in and go to the download from there watch the video I did go to the GPU settings make one called gaming put the fans on 100%. Just watch this video closely and you still have problems I'll do another video just for you. Just take your time with Alienware command center and get used to it but first put your GPU fans on 100% and then when you're not gaming you can use balance. You can design your own curve I would suggest just go to 100% if you're going to be gaming going to be a little bit loud but it's worth it also by yourself a laptop cooler to put your laptop up on to blow some extra air underneath the laptop and it'll be fun. Watch this video again if you have any questions I'll do a small video for you if you want me to on how to adjust the command center but I think I did it in the video it was hard because I had to do it by holding the phone and showing the screen. Don't worry about G it does nothing to help you. It is pretty much an Alienware product so when you download Alienware command center it works just fine with the laptop and you'll be very happy and you'll be able to keep your temperatures down really low look up some more videos on how to use Alienware command center also will be helpful. You're particular CPU is very important that you get this downloaded because Intel to me holds up a little better when it gets hot those go quick when they're hot so I'd recommend you do this immediately
I'm going to do a video on how to use Alienware command center it's going to be a short video you can look for it maybe tonight or tomorrow morning but downloading it is really easy make sure you take care of this because it's a good laptop once you learn how to keep it cool

Just going to the download and then put in the service tag of your computer and then hit download and it should work if this window is 11 it should work but it doesn't just go back in and keep trying if you have to you can still download Windows 10 and then go in and follow the procedure on this video and it repair and then after that hit okay on everything and then I'll automatically fix it for Windows 11 just watch this video slowly and you'll figure it out let me know if you have any questions just make sure you set up a custom GPU setting at 100% fan
I bought a laptop cooler with a 22 mm fan which is like 7 and 1/2 in across it's big go buy one immediately and you'll be running 90° instead of 93 to 95. I ended up having a defect from Dell and they sent him technician out and they basically redid my whole laptop someone put one of the power sources upside down to the GPU I don't really understand laptops that much so after that I'm running like 90°, but that's okay but rising chips unfortunately I don't like them because they can't take the heat like Intel chips can so it's imperative that you go buy a laptop cooler with the biggest fan the most powerful one you can buy.

So I go buy inexpensive computer it's stupid get some money together build a cheap computer that works and then build another one when it's not working anymore. It works I promise you you need to go into your files and look through every single file and erase everything has anything to do with Alienware. You might have to do a factory reset. I think on the main problems is people download the wrong Alienware command center program on the computer so it corrupts it and then you got to go and look through your files and you got to get rid of everything not just the apps but also the Alienware downloading program in the files you got to get rid of all that. It works I promise you not too long ago I had to download that didn't work correctly so I had to re-download it and I did the same process and that could have been 3 months ago so it works. In some cases like mine and yours is just a pain is the ass. You just need to dig a little bit deeper into your files because before you download a new Alienware command center you have to have everything gone or does not work I promise you. Let me know be more than happy to help. If it still doesn't work you just going to have to put everything on a thumb drive that you want to save and just do a factory reset and start over and you'll be fine. 50 a video games that you're wanting to finish then finish those video games and then do a factory reset. I don't keep that many important things on my computers I use clouds and thumb drives that way if something goes wrong I can just to factory reset and start over and then download all my stuff that I want to put back on.

I have a question for you why don't you like Windows 11 eventually you're going to have to use it anyhow you can just switch to Windows 11 I've become to like Windows 11 better I don't pay attention all the stuff these UA-cam computersposable experts say about Windows 11 being corrupted buy it for a minute everything is already corrupted any house who cares. You need to go straight into Alienware command center on Google and take your tag number and put it in because it's hard for me to believe that you cannot get a download for it I got it for Windows 10 of my PC so I couldn't you get it on your laptop doesn't make any sense. If the way I showed does not work for you which kind of shocks me then go straight in to Alienware command center and they'll be an area where you punch in the tag number on your computer and hit it and they'll be one tell me if I'm wrong but I could be cuz I only have an older Alienware computer that is not compatible with the command center cuz it has the old command center on it which is complete garbage you have to put it on auto if you take it off it turns the CPU fan off it's ridiculous but I like the PC it's a monster still today but try that and let me know and tell me if it works or not I would test it out but I don't have Windows 10 on any of my computers I can do it too good luck I think you can just keep trying on my laptop it actually erased it all and I had to redo it last night which is weird and then everything was the same my settings are saved and everything for some reason it just booted it off my system it's just a weird deal you just got to stay on top of it in my opinion Dell ruined Alienware so whenever you'll be able to get it done I know you can download it straight from the Alienware command center site it'll work
Dell is such a shitty company! I had a problem with my arura r12 and sent it to them and ever since I got it back I have had problem after problem.
I've been lucky up until now but I didn't expect much from this piece of s*** g15 I got such a good deal on I bought it for the hell of it it's already broken. I bought a warranty though so they're sending a guy to my house to fix it in front of me. I'm going to keep whatever parts they think there taking no one takes anything or they get their ass kicked and thrown out in the yard I'm not fucking around with them anymore. I'm just going to open the account there just walk in and get whatever I want I'm through Dell no one's calling me back in 3 days since they signed my repair order. After they took over my computer and did a reset then my FX lights didn't work anymore lol and then they didn't know what to say to me. I said my s*** doesn't work now you broke it. I'm not kidding you I was laughing at them I said don't worry I'll fix it myself sure enough I fixed it myself. I don't really care but I do want light so I can use in the dark. I think the whole operation runs out of India they're pretty smart if you get someone that you can understand which becomes a problem but it's not their fault that Dell can't make a computer correctly any longer but tomorrow's D-Day for me it's either come today and fix it or you can just refund my Dell account I own like 500 bucks still with laptop I'm just going to tell him to send me a box to return it and get my money back cuz your piece of shit plastic laptop is garbage. Goodnight you got a nice PC you'll be able to fix it just hang in there. Thank you but I will never buy nothing from Dell or Alienware again in my life. I live right by micro center in Columbus Ohio so I'll be building my own computers for now on. Dell is garbage and so's Alienware now since they purchased it. I'll be building my own computers from micro center's mother store 10 minutes from my house. I'm done with Dell I counseled in my account in my financial account and I'm done with them. I would recommend anyone buy anything from Dollar Alienware ever again trash.

I just got off the phone with Dell the other night way after this video for 5 hours I'm not kidding my wife is like who you talking to I go down I paid for their services so I wore them out like an old shoe. This is your problem you went to apps and you uninstalled the program you need to uninstall all of the programs OC which is overclocking and all of them which I'm sure you did. The problem that I think you may have is you didn't go through all your files go into download files and go through every single one and look for anything that says Alienware command center erase everything if you leave one file left on your computer it's going to contaminate the new download this is what I have found I don't care what Dell says or anyone else they just told me I was right I wish I could have recorded it they were getting nervous cuz I said I should do a UA-cam channel listen to you clowns. So if you tried it and it didn't work it's because you got one file left somewhere in your download files or in a place that I don't know when your computer but it's not that hard to find I'm not going to check my spelling or anything on this so it makes sense of it all. Check all your files download files computer files everything look through every single file in between it's just like a video game that you want to play it doesn't work you have to do the same thing if you're not getting a full screen picture on your video game you're playing sometimes you have to manually fix that which I can show you how to do that but you can also. You can't just erase the file out of apps you have to go through your whole computer and look for a secret files which one might say Alienware can man center download or whatever it may say I have found things that say different things and I don't care what anyone else tells you but I spend my life doing this and that's why I have spent the money to talk to Dell to have conversations with them I'm not arrogant I do not give a s*** when anyone thinks about me I can afford to pay the money that no one else wants to pay to talk to Dell or Alienware command center but I do because I like to argue with them and they agree with me most time I'm like I spent more time than you f****** have so trust me just go back into files erase everything that has anything to do with Alienware command center or FX or anything that says Alienware command center FX email or command center anything erase it all out of your files and then go and erase the download and apps and then go to the Alienware command center download on Google or whatever you want to use put in your service number and they're going to give you an option I don't know whether you got Windows 11 or Windows 10 trust me I'm right about this people of humiliated me only like a fraction of the people on this video they're meaningless to me but I'm trying to help you cuz I'm right cuz I got a whole working week dealing with this like 50 hours in dealing with this and I know I'm right Alienware told me I was right so make sure you get rid of all your files and do what I told you erase it and redownload it put your service number to your computer if you bought it from Dell if you didn't then you're just going to have to follow the directions cuz they have good directions I will say follow them clearly but if you put the service number into your Dell or Alienware computer if it's compatible it'll give you a good download now they fixed it on Windows 11 Windows 10 I don't think it's a problem if it's Windows 10 you just got to go and click the repair button watch the video again but I think you got Windows 11 but whatever the fact is if you read this this long you haven't figured it out let me know I will do a f****** video for you how to fix it I don't play games I'm here to help people because I care about everyoe.
