That Cuban hotel is stunning. The agoda reviews are excellent as are the photos, bar, etc. I can't fault the place. What a great find. Thank you Daz for introducing it to us.
I like hotel number two because it has the best pool and a cozy café ❤ . I also like that it has elevators as well as good lighted hallways and as always I want my shower separate from the toilet area.
The first 3 were interesting comparisons and the Quba was certainly unique. I wasn't too sure on the $4 hotel! That looked a bit too basic/economic for me given all the other costs involved in a holiday to Thailand. I checked July flights on Eva last night and they are still about £800 return in July from London. Many thanks for keeping the content flowing though Daz. I enjoy having a watch before I turn in for the night!
May 1st - 14th flights were £360 with South China Airlines, had an extended stay over in China both ways so went out exploring and ate some great food. The Chinese people are so much friendlier then the Thai's, as they aren't meeting westerners that are boozed up, drugged up and after shagging everything that moves.
Stayed at nova at xmas 16k a month Nice rooms Nice pool A lot of Indians stay there Didn’t have breakfast But across the main road is la boulangerie french cafe Serving delicious croissants and coffee And on the corner a great massage place Very professional if u understand
Thanks you are great good job. after seen your video i went to Thai smile hotel ❤i stayed at Thai smile serviced Apartments. Its pretty good worth it and moreover the people here are really very helpful friendly ,location is very convenient bigc shopping mall just 5min walk 7eleven in house much more. I saw people stay here really long even for years happy its best safe , choice for saving money in center of town pattaya. However from Oct to march their price goes up a bit as they said its high time.I asked them even yearly rates as have 1 year ret visa .They were mind blown cheap. My personal advice is At least we need a roof on head for cheap price and save money for other events 🎉😂 .
Yes true save money is better then to spend on expensive stays just basic needs safe and central location easy for daily needs like Thai smile I love the price and place.
Thanks bro thanks for such helpful information regarding Pattaya. You really do good job aperi😮cate . I stayed at Thai smile. They are super however unbelievable price yes it's because I had a word with the owner he said he just got the place before COVID and that smash of slow business during that time made him loose a lot and they need to cover the Bank quickly so they sell cheap and would like to get thru fast as their policy fast turnover. The place is good as location is even better than the other you shown for this price I think it's fabulous and my personal opinion we must help the place and people who really deserve. This people deserve the best as they put heart into each guests try their best to help and please all . I have tried and I feel it's worth it. Homely atmosphere with lovely treatment to guests the owner said customer is God for us and we regrad all guests as our king our God. Extremely down to earth a feeling of warmth and love that I never expected. I love the Quba hotel, bar, coffee shop and restaurant I definitely be trying the restaurant out in September when I'm in Pattaya I would have booked Quba hotel I didn't know it existed but will be looking at it next time I'm back in Thailand I'm staying City Center Residence it's condo hotel it's on soi 8 bong koch 8
The door handle looks after 5 months like Cuba today. Nice looking, but pool is too small. Second hotel is nice, but be aware there is a temple nearby and for some reason play music all day long, advice to stay on the rear side.
Walked past this Quba a few months ago and noticed the coffee shop. Not sure the hotel was open then. I used to stay on this Soi at the Amari Nova and it’s a good place to stay for access to Bukaow and second road and quiet. The last guy seemed like a cowboy putting the price on a calculator and the hotel seemed a bit odd but price is right. Looked more of a short time place.
I stayed at the Quba and although the rooms are nice, the location isn't ideal. The staff (not the person here) were quite rude. Importantly they have a NO guest policy. You couldn't even pay to bring a guest back. Just an FYI
Hello! New subscriber here and I have to say, you really have covered Pattaya like no other. I will be visiting Pattaya (having been inspired by your channel). Would love to meet you and buy you a beer if you are free first week of October. Cheers mate!
Thanks for different views on the hotels, im not to picky when it comes to my rooms. My only real requirement is i dont like showers where the whole bathroom gets wet. And a nice bed if its a longer stay.
Cuban hotel looks pretty cool , My only concern for the owners with novelty type themes , the novelty seems to wear thin and they seem to date quickly but I hope it works out for them
I like The Quba. The second place has a 10 a.m. checkout. That would put me off. Decent-sized pool and reasonable fitness room, though. The 3rd place is good value. The 4th place: was it really 35 sq/m? Looks okay, though.
That $5 a night place wasn't terrible at all. I'm not picky, but i can't handle the shower head spraying the toilet/sink/mirror etc. It needs a divider of some kind. I'll gladly pay the extra $20/month or whatever.
Daz i stayed in march they advertised name your price i said 900 each day bath they said ok quaba✌️ btw klang area is perfect location to Action at same time quiet to live ✌️✌️
Hey Daz! How would you rate the bed firmness? I love the hotel videos but every low price hotel I have tried (except for Amber and Adelphi) have been super Thai hard beds. Im there in a little over a month and would consider the first 3 but I am not sure on the bed firmness.
@@peterramsden3134 I’m certainly not going to complain about $35-44ish USD a night. I think that’s cheap for how awesome the bed and staff are. But to each their own pal :)
I have the same problem with hard beds in Thailand hotels. By far my favorite in Pattaya is March hotel. The beds are the most comfortable I found in my price range. Never more than $40 per night and sometimes less during low season. It is located off Pattaya klang and a short walk to second road, right behind centric sea condo. Pleasant small pool, but I love most is the sauna. Have found few hotels in this price range that have a sauna. My back really appreciates that. Next door is the May hotel which opened a short time before the pandemic began, but I've never booked there. March hotel is owned by the same company as August hotel on Pattaya klang. Another well recommended hotel with the biggest bed I've ever slept on. However, although I prefer the location to March hotel, the bed is a bit harder and less comfortable for me.
@@billstorm5889march hotel and August hotel are close cousins of April Suites which is my go-to hotel if I'm in Pattaya and don't want to think too much about trying new places and just want something I know and trust.

comparing these to my area, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, West Palm, they would never show you the rooms first. They want you to ignorant for the holes in the walls and clogged drains even at 150 a night. Nova gets my vote. Rather spend the extra money and have a more updated room and a better safer looking area. 4 dollars though if you are 22 traveling the world, pretty cheap. Didn't like the cuban themed one. Not much of a change of scenery for me. It was missing the stray dogs, people yelling at one another, and way too quiet for a Cuban themed place. Cuban food is so cheap and easy to make, wonder why they did the mexican food. Maybe its more likely to be requested?
There was a London cab driver called Tony who was potty about Cuba. He had his cab done up like the Cuba flag. Then he took it to Cuba and put it in a museum. Haven't seen him on the road lately I'm wondering if he had that hotel built
