Yess they are but because they are trained to memorize them quickly 😉☺️ professional dancers learn new choreographies all the time to train their brain :)
THank you for posting this. Dancers always make it look so easy and effortless, but something like this shows how much work, memory, counting and years of skill go into learning something choreography quickly. One of my fondest memories was seeing this Chicago the year it opened on Broadway, with Bebe Neuwirth. Ann Reinking had left the show by then, but Bebe was hilarious in the role and such a phenomenal dancer. I still have the cast album to relive the experience.
Im SO excited for this audition!! I have ALWAYS wanted to learn this dance!! Just the audition process and preparation alone for this is SO exciting!!!
This is a hard yet fun choreography to learn. I'm not a professional dancer at all, but I'm sure going to keep trying until I get it, even if it's just for me 😊
This is in my recommendations and my little dancer heart is happy. This looks like fun choreography! I’m not auditioning but I will definitely learn it :)
Wow, great, she has very long arms, but they add to the flowing movements, curious what it be like with a Velma included...if this doesn't work out, she could try The Search For Audrey II!
@@xhappyponyxwasmyoldname1395 thank you for clarifying for those who keep using Fosse name for this choreo in the revival. Just as you said, it's extremely similar but not exact as Mr Fosse's. It's Ann's.
Can there please be a search for Velma or Roxie next year? I didn't know about the search for Roxie when there were auditions going on; I'm so sorry 😭 one of my dreams is to be in this musical tbh and I wanted to since like 8 or 9 years ago so yeah
...huh. I wonder if it would help to remember that Roxie will need to do this alongside Velma, and they have to look the same-so be careful with those arm movements and don’t go out too far because you’re going to have someone right next to you.
Some were born to dance... but I was not included in that fabulous group of folks. I dance like "Elaine" from Seinfeld! And it is not a pretty site!! Yikes!! 😳😱
i never liked the teacup hand portion out of all the parts of this song it is maybe the worst thing imo. And i love a good jazz hand but the tea cup hand shimmy just looks awkward as fudge..... even with the part where theyre walking in a circle but it just looks dumb and a "forced sexy" idea just like the one hand in 1 out hip swaying
He is such a excellent dancer and he looks very appealing when dancing, not the lady, not everyone looks good when they dance, people have to self evaluate themselves.
Why am I watching this knowing damn well I’m a computer science major and will never audition for Chicago
Oh won't you!??
You can be both!! If it’s something you love, then don’t let anything stop you!!🥰
Why am I watching this knowing damn well I’m a middle-aged man with a wife and two kids and will never audition for Chicago
😭😅
well never say never
I'm mesmerized by how long and graceful her arms are.
aka 20 years of ballet!
Damn I wish I was that good at picking up choreography 😭 they make it look so effortless
I J Same!!!
same ugh it takes me forever to pick up choreo

I'm not even auditioning I've just always wanted to learn this!

Yasmine Vine Break a leg! Wishing you the best of luck!
@@isabellathierry8787 omg Thanks SO much!!! xoxo
GLAM DOLL how did it go???
DID YOU GET IT THO WERE STILL WAITING
I always loved choreography terms "bup bup beep, huht huht bump, hit pause bop, turn and Bing bong"
I can’t wait to memorize this knowing full well I’ll never debut it in public
I have wanted to learn this dance since the day I watched Chicago!!! Finally a way to learn! Thank you :)
This is amazing and precise. David Bushman is a talented guy who knows all of the "Chicago" tracks. Wow!
This is a hard yet fun choreography to learn. I'm not a professional dancer at all, but I'm sure going to keep trying until I get it, even if it's just for me 😊

That’s the cutest choreography ever 😍
Where was this video during my production of Chicago 😩😂
i learned this in my dance class tonight! so much fun!!
I'm in search of choreo demonstrated from the BACK. Can anyone link me to a resource? Thanks in advance!
Because it is beautiful
I m impressed by the way this lady can move, she is so flexible and smooth she makes it look so easy. 😮
Thank you Elsbeth!
I’m gonna learn this routine as a bucket list to nail this routine. I wish I have the guts to audition for either Roxie and Velma.
hard to believe a reality tv personality would have the dancing skills, experience, and training to keep up with this 🎭🙂
Well, this is how I'm spending my self-isolation it seems
Beautiful

Clearly, she knows this choreo, as she's ahead of him half the time but it looks awesome anyways!
Was this Fosse choreo? There's so much vernacular jazz!
Technically Ann Reinking choreo from the ‘96 revival, but she essentially used the same, if not extremely similar Fosse choreo from the original show

I keep thinking of Robin Williams in "The Birdcage"! lol
Damn this hard ! He is fit af and listen how out of breath he is!
Amazing❤️💃🕺
Wow just wow!
See now I have to learn this tomorrow

Me watching this knowing I got bandleader and ensemble in school musical and don’t have the talent for that
3:02 I think that just triggered an LSD flashback. That looks so fkn' cool.
Wow my dance teacher has about two moves in there that are in my dance to this song -_-

❤❤❤
What song version is this??? I'm learning and none of the ones I've found match.
This is from the broadway version.

I'm pretty sure if you get the part , you'll get a couple rehearsals with Velma, so for now just concentrate on yourself and learn the Choreography
❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
My mommy said the shimmy at the beginning is against our religion 😢😢😢😩😩😩😭😭😭😭😓😓
El profe de artes de paso de lanza jajaja xd

👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹😄
Nice but Gwen Vernon, Anne Reinking and the master Bob Fosse are gone and when the master isn’t there it’s not the same
Yes she’s pretty good but not the precision and controlled body movement - the low snake arms need work - because elbows were to pressed into the body
Guys… I don’t think I can dance
