I have been completing pocket pages forever! You did a great job! It seems normal to have to trim down the cards after you complete the other side. One type is use your stamps, stickers, extra papers (6x6 pads work great), and embellishments just as you have done! TIP: remove some of the backing on the chip board when using... it seems to make the project bulky if not over time. Thank you for sharing!
I’ve never done pocket pages. 6x6 pages is the smallest I’ve ever done. Bought several albums years ago and was excited about it. Quickly ran out of 6x6 page protectors and couldn’t get any more. So frustrated. I might try something like what you’re using. It looks quick and easy and you can document several pictures very quickly! Perfect for this time of year. Thanks for sharing this!!
So loved this video. Thanks for some other ideas on how to document our memories. I've never done pocket pages before, but looks like a good way to do it.
I love this! I've done one mini album with pocket pages--a 6x8" Week in My Life theme album. I STRUGGLED with it so much! Basically just making my photos, cards, etc. fit the format of the pocket pages. I decided then that, if I ever wanted to do something similar, I'd just use the full sheet page protectors and do "faux pocket page" layouts. Basically, arrange photos on cardstock/paper in a pocket page-style layout, but no real pockets! May be cheating, but I think it would be easier, and definitely more fun. I will use pocket pages in my 12x12 scrapbooks, but only for holding photos that I don't want/need to do anything special with. Basically, just like photo album pages mixed in with my layouts. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this. I assume your daughter is learning website coding? That's awesome! Some years ago, I taught myself HTML & CSS coding (using how-to books) so I could create my own website. Pre-WordPress & other content management system days! LOL I know enough still to get by, but for anything more than basic, I either copy and paste code I find in online tutorials for whatever I'm trying to do, or use a design app meant for building responsive websites, then tweak the code that generates. Yes, a bit geeky perhaps, but Girl Geeks Unite! :D Anyway, tell your daughter I'm sending her a virtual two thumbs-up & lots of encouragement. Y'all take care now, and have a wonderful day! :)
@@ScrappyWife oh man, the crafty videos have so far only taken up about an hour and a half each week. Lives are optional, but are also available on replay so I usually watch at night rather than watch tv. I do understand about having the kids home, when I'm with my grandchildren I don't like to be on the computer, I'd rather enjoy them.
I use the pocket style all the time. You did a fabulous job.
Thanks!
Turned out beautifully
Thanks!
These are the cutest! And so simple to put together, still using imagination and an eye for color!
That is why I am loving them!

Hello fellow camper, love how your pocket insert page came out
Thank you!
I just got a bunch of supplies from freckled fawn for pocket memory keeping. It's new to me too, but I am so excited to jump in.
Nice! I have not checked them out before.
I love using enamel pieces from Doodlebug Designs. They are super cute and small. I often use their little hearts 💕
That's a great idea!
This is perfect for using cardstock stickers, puffy stickers and labels to embellish photos!
Yes! Thank you!

Heba from My little journal here on UA-cam does a lot with project life pocket pages. You might be inspired from her work. 😊
I love her!
Cute and quick
That's the goal!!!

I'm doing the Summer Playbook from The Reset Girl also!!!! Are you also doing camp? Great page!!
I am not doing camp...I figured with my kids home I wouldn't have time to commit to all the videos.
