Can anyone translate this phonetically in Arabic!?? I’ve been trying for years! Would love to sing with our Arabic choir for Good Friday! Please & thank you.
Opening hymn..First Stanza. English.. In a grave they laid there,oh my life and my Christ. And the armies of the angels were sore amazed.,as they sang the praise of thy submissive love
Moubarakon anta ya rab, 'allemni hokoukek, tobahom allathina bala 'eiben fee ttarik, assalikina, fi namous irrab.... That's the phonetic translation of the first part of the chant that's sung by a female. I'd do the whole thing but it moves back and forth between Arabic and Greek, and, unfortunately, I hardly speak a word of Greek. Sorry.
@@gene-culture_coevolution :) thank you!!! can you do it for the part at the 1:59/2:00 min mark? No worries if it takes too long. I totally appreciate you replying. Thank you!!! :)
Beautiful. Greetings to my orthodox brothers in Christ from all over the world. May the Lord keep you and bless you forever. From a Catholic sister.
This is one of the most beautiful renditions of the Lamentations I have ever heard

search for the romanian version
I've been around many jurisdictions for Holy Week. The Antiochians lamentations are the most surreal.

Note all of stanza 1 follows the same intonation
It begins to change around Stanza 3 I think.

Would really love to see a full Arab Christian chant without Greek or Byzantine style! Although it’s lovely, it’s still very Greek!
Both the Greek and Arab version are in the Byzantine style…
@@TheNatty88 Byzantine= Greece. Do not fall in the trap of the left wings and the muhamadans.
Is this on Spotify?
Doubt it :)
Аз съм ботогослов
