Hi can you please give tips on how to answer the select all that applies questions. I realized I don't do so well in that kind of question. Please help.

      Hi Krystal,
thanks for commenting on the video! The "select all that applies questions" are difficult for everyone so definitely don't feel alone on that. It is impossible to memorize every single detail in school/lectures. The best way to tackle the question is to start off with what you 100% know is correct/incorrect to start filtering out answer choices. Once you can get rid of some answer choices then it is easier to read and stop getting confused. For example in a question that is asking for everything that is true/correct if you know that Roman numeral "1" is for sure correct, start by crossing out all the answer choices that don't have that option. Sometimes just by doing that it will reveal that another Roman numeral answer choice is incorrect if there are no answer choices that make sense.
You will be surprised how much you remember from pharmacy school as you are taking your exam. Go with your gut! Try to avoid going back and changing answers! If there is an answer choice that you have never heard of in your life it is most likely incorrect, don't just assume that its probably something you forgot. The NAPLEX is not designed to be a super tricky exam. From what I remember there aren't too many of these types of questions on NAPLEX, but you will definitely see a lot on your state law exam. I would suggest taking the NABP website NAPLEX practice exam just to get comfortable with the testing format. I hope this helps! Feel free to comment for more advice or questions.

Can u talk about extracurriculars and work u did during school? Are extracurriculars important? If I work at a pharmacy is that enough?

Good questions! We have a video coming up about how to succeed in pharmacy school and we will definitely answer your questions. In the mean time, yes, we did extracurriculars and worked in pharmacy school but very minimally. I (Thuan) worked in both a research lab at school and at a retail pharmacy. Keep a look out for the next video!

Hello....Thank you for your tip and reaching out to the community. I would be taking the Boards hopefully this coming January 2018. I live in Orange County, Ca and I was wondering where I can find people studying for the NAPLEX so we can build a study group. Also, I graduated from pharmacy school in 1998 but stopped practicing for over 8 years due to raising kids. Would you recommend anything different since I am not a recent grad? I bought the Rx prep book but its so daunting so I am thinking of buying the Pronto flash cards and posters.
