    Hi Sara I really wanna thank you for all the effort that you have put in that video helping national and international students sitting for the NAPLEX exam, I am an Egyptian pharmacist who graduated in 2009 and I took my FPGEE in October 2016 and since then I am still a bit stuck in the TOEFL exam I got a 91 total score and missed 3 points in speaking in my last exam back in last October, so I was wondering if you have any advice for the Toefl exam as well especially for the 26 required speaking score section, Thx a lot in advance and best of Luck to you.

    That's an awesome video. Thank you! if you would share with us, what a strategy you used or you'd recommend to finish the book, videos, and questions bank?! Did you, for instance, go through diabetes chapter video, read the chapter from the book, then solve questions of that chapter at the same day. OR, you just go through all the Rxprep book and the videos, after that you start to solve questions!

    • @SaraBoulos
      @SaraBoulos  6 років тому +3

      Hi Mahmoud, thank you for your positive feedback! What I would do was I'd read through the chapter first, and then watch the RxPrep videos and then go over the chapter in the book one more time, and after that I would solve the test bank questions on that specific chapter. I also would wake up the next morning and go over the chapter I had studied the day before again real quick before I'd dive into new material, and I felt that that helped made the information stick better. Now I know that every person has their own strategy that works for them, but that was the strategy that worked best for me.

  • @nancyraad8551

    Hi Sara thank you for your videos! Do you think you can pass Naplex without starting internship if you also rely on brand names from uptodate and epocrates apps? And do you know if a rxprep older edition (ex 2018 to study for 2021 Naplex) plus updates from website is enough to pass ? Also do Naplex competency statements change much from year to year? Finally can you make a video on internship? How you applied? Links? Forms to fill? Etc.. especially for foreign graduates. Thank you!

    • @SaraBoulos
      @SaraBoulos  3 роки тому

      I personally do not think relying on these resources is enough. Rxprep is a great resource and pretty much gives you a good review. All the resources I mentioned in my video are what helped me pass my exam.

      Vizhaag Nathiya you need to first pass the FPGEE and TOEFL, and after you get the FPGEC certificate you’ll need to accumulate the internship hours per your state requirements, and after it’s approved by your DOH then you can register and take the NAPLEX.

      I don’t believe so. You have to go through the licensing process. Masters in pharmacy is not accredited by the ACPE. With that said, you can always reach out to the school you’re interested in and they will be able to help you.

      Hi Marina, if you’re referring to the RxPrep for NAPLEX I think it’s best to start browsing it when you’re doing your internship. While you’re on the job you’ll get great experience learning brand names and that will help you a lot in your studies.
