This would definitely be worth a try. I was surprised how much I liked this remote. As a guy that has tried several Logitech remotes, Sofabaton definitely gives them a run for their money.
They are very similar. One aspect I’d say Sofabaton has the advantage, is the setup. This was the easiest remote to setup, I’ve ever tried. But features & quality wise, very similar.
Great review! Hey, and I have some old iPhones that I had not thought about using until you mentioned it in this video.! I have not thought about that! Would you consider doing a video of how to use old iPhones in our homes for various things?! That would be great to learn more about this from you!
@@GeorgeLangabeer I say it tongue in the cheek. But in our house the Apple TV and HomePods do everything. Both the Apple TV and Nintendo switch handle powering the TV and switching inputs. If I need to change back and forth the TV inputs are accessible via HomeKit. And the original tv remote lives in storage without batteries.
@ecoheliguy Nice. Lol. Yes, I know what you meant. As I said I said in the video, I use an extra iPhone 14 Pro I had sitting around. Controls everything in my place. As much as I liked it overall, this remote wasn’t for me. But people like you and I are still in the minority. Most of the world still relies on their good old fashioned remote control (s).
My Logitech Harmony system died a few weeks ago. Looking for a quality replacement. Thanks for the video. I hope you are keeping well. ❤

Laying the hammer 🔨! Great video George. I have a harmony remote. This seems similar
Thank you sir! Very similar indeed.
Thanks I needed to know this..
As a long time user of the harmony remotes how would you say these compare.

Great suggestion!
I"m also looking forward to hearing what you think about the new iPhone 15s! Especially with the new feature of thread! @@GeorgeLangabeer
@darleneshipe7120 Picking them up on the 22nd!
Appreciate the review for, I myself, never heard of this brand...👍👍👍👍
SofaBaton is a very reputable brand in the Universal Remote Game.
It pains me to see luxury homes with 3 or more remotes sitting out to control a media area. You should take a look at the Ava
I’ll check it out!
Logitech had the locked down with the harmony line but I guess Logitech just didn’t wanna keep thst market
Yeah, I’m not sure what happened there. Because you’re right, they did indeed.
Lol who uses a remote anymore. We just use Apple TV and HomeKit, and a Nintendo switch 😄
About 90% of the population, that’s who. Lol
