Lovely craft, and your Editor really is doing you proud!!!! Where can I get one of those?? I’m just a big procrastinator when it comes to editing. As far as the star, the skies the limit 😂. Seriously though, it really is a beautiful tree and I loved all of your choices.
Very cute! Nice call on the star switch and lights! Like the gradients of green. I think the idea is with cake, the stars long part sticks down into the cake and you have the 5 points sticking on the tip of the tree, the long piece stuck in to keep it in place.
Super cute Darling, I love it!! The editor is too funny, I hope he gets a break for Christmas, be nice Wendy.....LOL!!! The lights are a great addition. I think the longer end of the star is meant to be the bottom and I like that one best!! Thanks for sharing Darling, very neat mold. -Beverly
Hi Wendy, the point of the star, the long thin piece should be attached to the top of the tree! I really like this mold, it's so cute and makes a very nice tree. Good job editor, keep it up
@@warriorempathshealingfromn5625 thankyou, do you think so? I’ll try it again. I like it aswell, it’s unusual, the editor says thankyou too. Thanks for you advice, it’s much appreciated ❤️
@@robinbrook5624 Thankyou so much, yes it is a cake mould and I should have realised but my brain was on left on my pillow that day lol, thanks for watching, it’s much appreciated ❤️
@wendysdecorium One of the things I enjoy about watching videos is the inspiration! After watching this one, I started thinking, a very dangerous thing for me. 😂 Visualize using a clear resin. Use plugs (mini plastic cups filled with something) in the middle to keep it mostly hollow. Then after it's cured drilling a hole in the top of the tree parts. Stuff fairy lights through the tree. Then use UV resin to connect the tree parts together.
Thankyou for watching and I’m glad you got something out of it😀 I did have a similar thought when I bought the mould not as detailed as your idea which sounds awesome by the way but I do love me some aquacast lol ❤️
This is absolutely gorgeous Wendy. Those lights were a perfect finishing touch👌I think because it’s a cake mould the star would normally just poke into the top of the cake . Love it Wendy ❤️
Hi Wendy, it came out really cute. I love the little lights you got for it. This was my 1st time seeing your channel. I also believe it’s a cake tree mold. I think that’s why the star was so long. If it had been done in cake. The star would have pushed down inside of it. I like the star you used, but I think the original one would look fine if you were to make the longer piece shorter. Merry Christmas to you & your family. Have a blessed day.🙏💗🇺🇸😊
@@marybeth17 Thankyou Marybeth, yes it was a cake mould and that totally makes sense. Welcome and I’m happy you’re here, merry Christmas to you too. Thankyou again ❤️
I love that mould its fab...the star however I have no clue, I think yours worked better anyway. Love the lights Love the whole darn thing! Merry Christmas to you and your family :)
The only way tge star makes sense to me is if it is a cake mold and the star is meant to be inserted in the cake. Next time you make it try putting clay in the spike to prevent resin from getting in there

If it's a cake mold, a tooth pick would go through the long part of the star to hold it in place. Icing would cover the bottom part of it as well.
