I truly believe the only one who could possibly rival Lindan prime is Momota prime. They have so many resemblances. Not only they are lefthanded, they are also calm, cool and collected. In the first World Final of his career, Momota let someone like Chen Long caught up with him twice but still managed to turn the table around and ultimately won the match. Lee Chong Wei fans may hate me for saying this, but the Malaysian legend would loose in this intense situation. That shows how mentally strong Momota was
if momota even had half the skills he had in this match now he would be mostly likely still world number 1. Every shot was played to perfection and zero points given through mistakes. It is really disheartening seeing the disparity between the momota of past and present.
I would argue LD is bit un orthodox. His foot work and his grip too are not standard..He introduced that crazy diving defence. So no one can follow style. In a way a rare style which is .hard to mimic. I would say LCW and TH are the most technical if some one want to learn. I would say LCW is the best.
So sad hearing about Mammoths retirement. He was on his way to become the next legend in Badminton and I firmly believe if it is not for the accident could have been the Olympic champ. But fate has different plans. He reminds me of Tennis legend Monica Seles. They both were looks completely different after their incident. So sad. Too young to retire..

When China don't have a strong team, Chen Long also can't perfomed., easily beaten by Axelsen and Momota. His 2016 Olympic champion was a luck because Lin Dan met LCW in other section. Too bad for LCW born in a wrong era

Momota greatest assets are perhaps his tenacity in defence & near-zero mistakes. His control of wrist is probably the best in badminton world.
He barely gives an opportunity to his opponent to attack, and he is good at punishing his opponent's mistake.
