@@pandesafe when score is tie at 14-14 it's deuce and the first to reach 17 points wins. current score system one side leads by 2 points wins. i use to play the old scroring system when i was 15. it was exhausting but so much fun. it truly tested endurance and mental strenght.
You had to be a cardio monster to even be competitive. I played the 15 pt system in high school and legit saw players lie down on the side of the court

Comparing prime LD to players nowadays is like saying Noah Lyles is about the same level as Usaine Bolt The passage of time doesn't automatically make you better and we have it on tape which era was stronger

There is so many wow factors in this match, the impossible net plays of LCW at the beginning , the frightening smashes from LD then you get into the high tension of the late game and both pulling crazy defenses. LD cockiness in that anticipated drop shot costed him to phase out letting his opponent to sharpen his game and get extra motivation. Remember disrespect always backfires, luck/fate sometimes plays important role in the matches..like a plot armor. This is something Takahashi/Matsutomo gold medal OG match will always remind me. U can only score a point if u were the one serving. If u win a rally but ur opponent serves, u wouldnt score a point.
