5 Ways To Improve Your Edits & AMVs! (Easy Tips)

- Here are 5 ways to improve your edits and AMVs both directly and indirectly! It is not simply about "getting better" and spending countless hours experimenting with effects (although that is a good idea) - will your edit look good when you publish it through Instagram after all that effort? Or will it become compressed? How would you avoid this? Think about the clips you are using too. If they are raw, you are good to go. If the frame rate is inconsistent or has been modified (along with the resolution), you may want to reconsider what clips you will use, as it may cause issues in the long run (with twixtor for example, when removing repeated frames). There is a lot to think about if you want a perfect outcome!

How to you obtain the episodes?
Unfortunately, due to UA-cam's guidelines, I cannot give out methods/links to raw episodes. But you can find them online after doing a bit of research!

Great tips for editors by the editor✨. Tip you mentioned right in the beginning, is the most important one for any creative ones, I feel. Majority of editors tends to follow applied settings in tut's and dont do self experimentations. even months after using those effects, they're still not used to do it manually by themselves. 😢
For file conversion(mkv to mp4), I use videoproc(paid software), it supports gpu-acceleration, so one 24min episode takes about 18-26secs only. So I usually batch convert complete season. File sizes of each epi increases by 0-8%, so it's manageable 😋
absolutely agree! experimentation is very important (and fun too). by the way, handbrake also supports gpu acceleration - but is videoproc better? i might use that instead if so.
@@TheNamesEnger videoproc has friendly UI. So I'd definitely say, yes. Cuz you know, it get kinda hectic when we try to customize settings in handbrake like containing soft subs, choosing specific audio channel when actual video/episode is in dual audio n etc. Friendly UI makes a huge difference in that manner

What is HandBrake Preset ?
handbrake is used to compress videos. the preset are settings for handbrake when exporting clips for edits (high quality - low file size).
