@kennedydavenport sending love and positive vibes your way! ❤️💕such a great performer, entertainer! Loved this interview! Showed so much depth of character in all the good ways. I’d love to see you in person perform! 😅😊💕
This ONE interview shows us SO much of Kennedy than two entire seasons of Drag Race. Kennedy really is the one that deserves more flowers than what she's given. 🧡🧡
Drag Race is not a talk show. Queens don’t go there to get lengthly interviewed. They show their uniqueness, nerve & talent on the show. These sit-down intimate moments are the right platforms to open up like this!
@Igbogadi Drag Race has still shown the backgrounds of some of the queens. They let Alyssa Edwards' story of being a dance coach, pageant queen, drama with Coco, and her mom's passing be on air. Hell, they let Jujubee talk about her cats. All I know about Kennedy from Drag Race is that she was put in that pageantry box, her 'growth' during the competition to being more than just that, and that she can DANCE. I guarantee you Kennedy would have talked about her family personal life, especially during All Stars to get her voted to top 2 by the other queens. That challenge where they made the queens create what was essentially podcasts in AS7 was so good because they allowed the queens tell us a little more about their stories. This is such a versatile show. It relies on the presence of the queens. Framing Kennedy as being a "bitter and shady" queen was the show's responsibility, especially when they know how the fans can be.
I love how Maddy is always gooping and gagging the girls with the journalism research skills. They all come in like "What?! Where did you get this? Where did you hear about that?"

I admire her resilience and strength through this journey and am happy her path has taken her to where she is now. Maddy is so fucking good at this. She adapts to the energy of her guests and it absolutely lands every time. She takes everyone seriously but knows when to interject some levity appropriately. This look into Kennedy’s life was absolutely amazing, and makes me love her even more!
That’s why she is able to be as vicious with reading: she knows these queens, learns about them, cares about them. It’s all because she loves her sisters deeply.
You can just tell Kennedy has put the work in during her drag career, she is so well rounded and seems like such a cool person to be around. I remember being so dismissive of her on season 7, but she was always shining and I really hope she gets her flowers
My favourite thing about this show is that Maddy lets her guests TALK. I have learned so much about so many queens in much more meaningful ways on this show, than on most of the others. All of those big production, high monetary shows feel like they barely brush the surface of the queens compared to this. And I'm so thankful that Maddy is giving these people the ability to really speak and show themselves in a new light.

maddy, this episode with kennedy was by far one of the most powerful, poised, comforting and real episodes of the show.. this is so enchanting and listening to the dancing diva share about her life and testimony is so beautiful.
thank you maddy and kennedy for indulging us with this content 🤍
Miss Kennedy you are beautiful inside and out. Thank you for your service.❤❤❤❤❤
Kennedy is truly a class act, and Maddy is becoming a real favorite! Funny and charming
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast. Kennedy is 👑
I always watch the ad part in hopes it helps Maddy out. This is definitely my favourite drag queen content out there on UA-cam currently.
I never skip an ad!
