I was there also in section 307, middle, and this opening was incredible. Thank you for filming it. The vibe was so positive and uplifting (pun intended). For many of us who have spent time in the Bay Area and know this house, it brought back good memories. The whole atmosphere was sunny and bright. Pairing Eyes of the World with this spectacular shot was perfect. It felt as though we all together on a hot air balloon or a spaceship, moving up above the clouds and earth and “we” were the Eyes of the World. The satellite zooming by was a nice touch. We felt so lucky to have this as the second song and the opening of the Sphere. By the way, this setlist was quite amazing and it felt like they were giving it their all for Bill Walton’s memory. John Mayer’s solo is still running through my head. Jeff’s solo was also jamming. What a song! What a place! I too, can’t believe how much talking was going on through the whole show. I did turn around and ask the seatmates behind us to keep it down, which they did. A few words are ok, but talking like this is your living room is so inappropriate and disrespectful to those around you. Save all of your amazing insights to the intermission.
I was there in the 300 section dead center. Holy sh!t this whole Haight Ashbury sequence was amazing. To end the same way but going back in time was incredible.
Chimenti could definitely play mountains of the moon with Mayers voice.. playboy after dark piano ,and 🎹 Bobby please make it happen at the sphere 4th of July ! Just a pipe dream!
I also love Eyes from Boulder, CO 7/1/23. Everyone was on point and firing on all cylinders in that one! Face confirmed stolen on first listen on Apple Music.
Vibe was maybe a little unsuited to vegas I agree, but I thought it was worth the tradeoff to do the concert at Sphere - the band sounded great and the show is amazing
Mr. CJF & we saw our 1st, well, my 1st, dunno for him, but anywho, at Shoreline, as part of our 18 state, 10,000 mile odyssey around the US in search of architecture, Italian food, & microbrew 🍺, at least I was. And we rolled up to Shoreline in the lil Blue Mazda 626 4-door, sans tickets 🎟, and we score 2, AND, 2g of shrooms from 2 lovely hippie chicks. And a time was had by all twirling on the sand track in back. So I can only imagine the scene of this Sphere mechanism now that we can actually hear Bobby in the mix. ✌️ ❤️ & Ralph Lauren, y'all
I was there
My first show
What a long strange trip it’s been
Wow! Jeff!! Everyone ! I feel Bill there, arms extended sending his heart explosions! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

I was in 306, center and I agree with you, this was fantastic to watch! Expected to see Bobby throw a water balloon out of his attic window!
😊
Section 307 as well 🎉....thx for the reminder
out of this world
I’d be trippin balls. The Sphere was made for the Dead’s Video show. Imagine 77/78 Dead … mind blown.

I've generally not appreciated this band due to the tempo, but this relaxed approach worked pretty well for this version of Eyes.

It’s not for you 🤷♂️🤪💀

I was in 300s at the other side it wasn’t so talkative lot of singing
