O_o Am I going crazy, or do Kett facial features, aside from the rock armor, look disturbingly like Javik and the Protheans'? Could the Kett be descendant of Protheans who ran away to Andromeda Galaxy somehow? They somehow became like the Reapers and assimilate other species, like how the Prothean Empire completely assimilated other cultures until everyone was "Prothean" in name.
I'll take that, Max. Hey we're better than Protheans because we absorbed them. And hey we're better than Reapers because we actually observe them from Andromeda and witness them like they're our tools. Etc etc. Make them better than previous enemies without being just overpowering god things.
We only get one _species_ from the new galaxy. Well, friendly species - though I question whether you can really call the Kett a species, given what we see in the video above.
the game takes place in a cluster of stars..noT the entire galaxy just yet..just a TINY wittle piece.. for example in me1.. when u went to a cluster...then u could go from system to system..they did that again but..just made it huge..im sure in the next 2 mass effect games.. we are going to be fighting the ket empire who are trying to turn every living being into ket.. so for sure we will end up leading a resistance to fuck the ket..:D
is it? do they borg update themselves with newly discovered species? I thought they just made everyone like them.... but then again, 'them' had to come from something....
Yes, they do. they take there tech and make every race like them. The collector are nothing like the Kett. Collectors are husk. Tools that can be used and thrown away and they go out under their masters bidding to make more husk or a reaper. Kett are doing this to induct races into their society via genetic manipulation.
I made the same choices when doing this part. I saved the Angara because I said I would to Jaal. I felt I owned him more than the Moeshe. I also didn't hesitate to kill the Cardinal. As soon as it popped up, I hit it!!! The Moeshe still busted my balls for not destroying the base but Angara life > Destroying Kett Shit
So who do you think the remnant's creators are? Geth maybe? They seem to mention how strange it is that the Geth were looking towards andromeda with that FTL telescope.
the geth were not looking at andromeda. the geth heretics were looking into dark space. it was a quarian who visited the geth telescope and changed it to look at andromeda.
I think Remnant and Reapers are connected. Maybe some Reapers in ancient history rebelled and Reapers were so spooked by it that they threw it's remains towards Andromeda. That was before Reapers learned to indoctrinate sentients themselves. Eventually it arrived and long voyage had broken it's programming as it started to develop terraforming. It tried to create life in predictable manners and "impose order on chaos of organic evolution".
Strogs were controlled through an implant in their brain.. Kett go through the process willingly, remember who they were after the process and still think it was the right thing to do.. bit odd,
Exactly my outcome, i just thought it was a pretty bad ass Ryder moment (even though I didn't wait till her/his back was turned), i didn't hesitate for one second.
Indoctrination and dragon's teeth had a child and it is UGLY!!!! (Speaking of to original trilogy, I thought I saw a Collector's hexagonal plate in a Kett facility)
The kett senate are the benefactor, they lured the milky way races to Andromeda to exalt them, as the Andromeda initiative started there journey in 2185, the kett did the same thing in the opposite direction.
Rj Westra The Reapers weren't an original concept either. Yet, I didnt see people bitching about them. Zombies, Borg, Flood, literally all of those things are the same concept just done in a different way.
Rj Westra you said it yourself it's way too similar! What does that tell you, the khett are working for the reapers the same way the collectors were. The archon has god damn glowing blue eyes, the khett even look like collectors. The reapers aren't out of the picture they've definitely been meddling in other galaxies as well as the Milky Way.
Meat Ball Collectors are Protheans who have been synthetically and biologically changed by Reapers. Most prominently Synthetically. Exaltation is a purely biological process that acts as reproduction. The fact that they need to exalt to reproduce is the only similar thing to the Reapers, as the Reapers needed to Harvest another species to make a new reaper.
Casey Hudson (lead Bioware writer) left Bioware 3 years after the start of development of this pile of copy&paste nonsense... figures... old ME trilogy was original even in terms of movie plots etc... god damn Bioware, why?

I know some overeducated individual would come up with this.... I know in which situations the therm "made" can be interpreted. You know it doesn't seem like a good idea to hand out free full game copies of a game that a large part of the fan base only play for the story. I really hope the multiplayer is as good if not better than me3's multiplayer
Here a more disturbing thought. The might have caught Prothen and assilmate them into the Kett Empire.
I'll take that, Max. Hey we're better than Protheans because we absorbed them. And hey we're better than Reapers because we actually observe them from Andromeda and witness them like they're our tools. Etc etc. Make them better than previous enemies without being just overpowering god things.
So do we only get one companion from the new galaxy? That's kind of lame
We only get one _species_ from the new galaxy. Well, friendly species - though I question whether you can really call the Kett a species, given what we see in the video above.
I guess we can say that whatever species the cardinal was counts....... And whatever the ARchon was.
the game takes place in a cluster of stars..noT the entire galaxy just yet..just a TINY wittle piece.. for example in me1.. when u went to a cluster...then u could go from system to system..they did that again but..just made it huge..im sure in the next 2 mass effect games.. we are going to be fighting the ket empire who are trying to turn every living being into ket.. so for sure we will end up leading a resistance to fuck the ket..:D
Andromeda also has 14 satellite galaxies.
Small galaxies orbiting the big one.
Ah, so its Mr Sinister then?
Wow this feels like a Collector rip-of...
MrNicoJac it's not. it's borg.
is it? do they borg update themselves with newly discovered species?
I thought they just made everyone like them.... but then again, 'them' had to come from something....
Yes, they do. they take there tech and make every race like them.
The collector are nothing like the Kett. Collectors are husk. Tools that can be used and thrown away and they go out under their masters bidding to make more husk or a reaper.
Kett are doing this to induct races into their society via genetic manipulation.
So basically, non-cybernetic borg. Huh, well in that case, resistance is futile.
Your character looks way more alive than Sarah Ryder lol.
Sounds like what the Chirmira did.
I made the same choices when doing this part. I saved the Angara because I said I would to Jaal. I felt I owned him more than the Moeshe. I also didn't hesitate to kill the Cardinal. As soon as it popped up, I hit it!!!
The Moeshe still busted my balls for not destroying the base but Angara life > Destroying Kett Shit
your balls are busted regardless of the choice you made, though by different people. The Moshae forgives you.
I cant help but think exaltation will become a kink in MA fanfiction...
You put spoilers in title and thumbnail lad. Fix it.
So biological borg/Asari/Collectors
Nothing like the Asari....not too similar to Collectors either. Asari are always Asari, the traits they take are aesthetic and slightly mental.
Invasion of the body snatchers shit right there..
Well that was... predictable.
That was pretty predictable after seeing those pods
So the Kett are doing the same thing the Strogs in Quake 4 did to humans, just with less robotics and more religion.
Strogs were controlled through an implant in their brain.. Kett go through the process willingly, remember who they were after the process and still think it was the right thing to do.. bit odd,
@@DrGhoztz pretty sure it's a conditioned loyalty through drugs/brain rewiring.
Sooooooooo
They're Collectors, then.
No. Look up what the collectors are again. These guys are more like the borg.
I know what the collectors are. Still seems kinda collector-y.
they remind me of zoras from LoZ the pre-exalted kett
The Angara?
yea
Exactly my outcome, i just thought it was a pretty bad ass Ryder moment (even though I didn't wait till her/his back was turned), i didn't hesitate for one second.
Fkn lol at people who don't play insanity.
This fight is totally different for people playing for the challenge.
"that's some craaazy cult shit down there" holy shit that was cringy.
Hey fluffy, will you do a guide on how to make a good male character like you did on DA:I because all the males in this game look like crap
"The Reapers are here" oops wrong game
tbh I think this was kind of a lazy "plot twist"
you already did this in ME2, bioware, but then it worked well. not so much here...
Hey, madam Vivienne, looking good.
Beyond Comprehension...Reapers? Really?
Indoctrination and dragon's teeth had a child and it is UGLY!!!! (Speaking of to original trilogy, I thought I saw a Collector's hexagonal plate in a Kett facility)
Wow, your character doesn't look like shit. Maybe there is hope
Sorry if my humor offends any of these beings ✌️
BORG?
recycled collectors idea?
not really, collectors where mindless husks
#WhoIsTheBenefactor
The kett senate are the benefactor, they lured the milky way races to Andromeda to exalt them, as the Andromeda initiative started there journey in 2185, the kett did the same thing in the opposite direction.
almost Space nazis.
Almost.
this is far too similar to how collectors are made. not very original
Rj Westra The Reapers weren't an original concept either. Yet, I didnt see people bitching about them. Zombies, Borg, Flood, literally all of those things are the same concept just done in a different way.
Rj Westra it's 20fucking17 originality has been dead for centuries.
I like your character, she doesnt look retarded
So the Kett are going for superior genes.... are they some kind of space nazis then?^^
organic borg, more like
Casey Hudson (lead Bioware writer) left Bioware 3 years after the start of development of this pile of copy&paste nonsense... figures... old ME trilogy was original even in terms of movie plots etc... god damn Bioware, why?
"What They Are & How They’re Made"?!?! Seriously dude?!?!!How the fuck can you put something like that into the title of a video?!Yeah than please instantly add to the title the exact brief description of the whole manufacturing process.
:T
You know two people fucking and popping out a baby is how a human is made
Made is a general term. What else would she up? Born? That would be not only spoilers but spoilers for something that is incorrect
I know some overeducated individual would come up with this....
I know in which situations the therm "made" can be interpreted. But usually you don't use it as describing a living organism when it is reproducing the "common way" and is born! You yeah, this a a freaking big spoiler this way!
OP could just upload a video with the title:
"Mass Effect Andromeda - The Truth about the Kett - What They Are"
And so if someone wants to know and get spoiled, they can watch the vid. But with this "how they're made" title, the half of the main stuff is spoiled anyway especially that many of the scenes in the trailer got also a meaning and it's pretty easy to assume the plot of the whole Kett race.
We are talking about an alien race here, using broad terms that don't assume much is the correct thing to do.
Now yes, anyone thinking in more normal on earth terms would thing manufactured so in that way I can agree that this is spoilers
Oh.. how.. Collector-ish.
So the new friendly race is asexual or..?
