Mass Effect Andromeda - Save or Kill the Voeld AI (All Outcomes)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- Find out what happens if you choose to save or kill the AI in the Voeld side quest, 'Uncovering the Past'.
'Uncovering the Past' unlocks after you complete 'Remove the Heart' on Voeld.
Giving the AI to the Angara has the most desirable outcome (for now), as they will then provide additional support during the game’s final mission.

Thanks for watching!
I love Sam's voice when it says "She is lying" lol
He sounded like "She. Is. Lying"
If you give the Ai to the Angara it will assist at the end of the game, but ifyou keep it with SAM nothing happens. Keeping it with SAM may have some effect a possible future DLC or sequel.
How does it help in the end?
Hah, that aged well
@@OmegaSpark01 sadly
@@GuiltySpark-rh8ny unsurprising though. With how they treated this game, it seems only fitting they would abandon it.
What if sam just absorbs her lol
efra emails: yay!! i love my people and this our alliance is going great so far!!!!!!!!!!
efra in person: fuck the want u
The ancient angara created a Meeseeks AI? Next you'll tell me they created a sauce identical to McDonald's Mulan sauce.
Thank God you customized your Sara Ryder.
I heard about this side quest and given what happens, even if it was a sentient being holding that angara hostage Id still kill it. I get its probably cagey after all thats happened but people who lie trying to make their case to me in games have a way of dying. I see this as no different.
"This time stay dead!"
She lyin
she was lying to much...
okey i dont like that AI but the "we all can hear each other" line was damn funny
I let the guy die. Why the fuck does he run up to it and start touching it. Did he think it wouldn't have defense systems.
I saved this thing
I am a complete idiot. Enough said.
I killed it without a second thoguht
It started lying
So anyway I started Blasting
I'd love this game if the voice acting was good
are you forgetting the terrible facial animations, terrible character models (why are the female krogan so different in comparison to Eve from ME3 not only in appearance but vocal tones) terrible story elements that were a result of sjw infestation?
@@toomanyaccounts no I didn't forget. I loved the game play. But you're right, it was shit :(
throw it out the airlock
CK N throw it in the airlock and them throw the airlock down a black hole just to be sure
In my cycle ....
Javik would be proud of you.
I have a simple rule: if a machine can speak, kill it.
Near a black hole, just to be safe
I knew the Rachni Queen. And you, ma'am, are no Rachni Queen.
A wise Prothean once said: "Throw it out the airlock." He was right.
Love that man
"Start singing 'Daisy Bell' and I'm done!"
"I enjoy the sight of humans on their knees."
"That was a joke"
"This is all Joker's fault. What a tool he was. I have to spend all day computing pi because he plugged in the Overlord!"
@@MikelosM haha this is great I love it when I see threads like this the extronet can be a wonderful place.
I wonder what the quarians would say about this lol
Mitchel Mager Brutal
There will be no saying obviously
I'm sure they already love the SAM AI aboard their ship we will never get to see.
Not much if you wiped them out in favour of the more rational Geth. 😸
Most Quarians would hate to see the A.I. From the book, some Quarians joined the Initiative because they actually like A.I and want to study it even with SAM help. But most of them still hold to their own tradition hating any form of A.I. the Quarian Pathfinder was choosen because he is the most sceptikal towards A.I.. The Quarian Pathfinder team also refuses to implant chips into their head and just installed secure links from their SAM into their outer layers of their suits. So even if the SAm take over controll, it cannot harm the Quarians.
In my cycle, we just shoot it. 🔫
gtaylor1229 gayass pfp
in my cycle, we shoot it, strap explosives to it, throw it out the airlock and watch the pretty explosion blow up kett ships (i have not seen past the angaran home world, so i have no clue what happens)
gtaylor1229 in my cycle, we throw them out the airlock.
Elf Loved Yes 😂
In my cycle, we'd throw it out the airlock.
EDIT: ah shit, just noticed someone said it already... :(
How did the toaster from Big MT managed to reproduce and send his daugther to Andromeda?
would've been more fun if she were Muggy's daughter :P
Hah! I get that xD
Hahaha funny guy!
I WIL RAIN NUCLEAR FIRE UPON THIS GALAXY!!!!
Existence is pain
This AI was secretly a student but needed a way to cheat the exams.
Kinda backfired though.....
Caaaaaaaan do!
vandahm I AM MEESEEKS LOOK AT MEEE! WE CANNOT DIE WITHOUT WINNING TWO STROCKS FOR HIS GAME! SO WE MUST WIN ALL HIS STROCKS BY KILLING HIM!
This edgy intelligence doesn't deserve a place next to my precious SAM. I'll find him better friends his own form of life.
Existence is pain for a Meeseeks, Jerry!
I killed it. No second thought about it. That thing scared the living crap out of me.
fr, she is fucking mental
😂😂😂
I don't know why but this makes me remember a lot of the Rachni choice in Mass Effect
Glauber the rachni was worth saving though. They didnt lie lol.
Except the Rachni Queen wasn't a miserable Marvin the Paranoid Android except not funny or likeable.
Glauber except the Rachni were desperate to live, not asking you to kill them.
the rachni choice is extremely similar:
On a snowy planet
Probably will impact later game, such as War Assets
Another person is in use during the conversation
Jake M. How? People were probably having this same discussion when the first ME came out. 'Is the queen worth saving?', so maybe this AI will come into play in Andromeda 2 if there is one.
Ryder: do you still want to be destroyed
AI: yes, but less acutely then before.
Me on a good day.
I think SAM is my favorite Andromeda character. He's all "Bitch is lying!"
I hoped SAM would troll the Archon and bait and switch himself for the Ancient AI ruining all the Archon's plans.
The AI has desires and feelings? Then she is confirmed the leader of the next generation of geth, lol.
I killed it.
I've had enough of dealing with rampant AI. The last one was Cortana and look how that ended up.
It ended up being a shitty game.
Someguy1237 watch your mouth
MegaDman16 hes right tho
@@MegaDman16 deadass. At the end of the day. They’re supercomputers with human emotions. That’s dangerous af
😂
Anyone else love the way SAM says "She is lying"?
If you wait around, the Angry Ai asks SAM if he is capable of jettisoning all organics off the Hyperion.
She is a bad influence on my precious SAM. I'll have her scrapped if she dares hurt him or abuse his trust!
Thank you for confirming that I did the right thing by killing it on Voeld...
No one likes this AI, SAM itself doesn't like it, and it even tell you to kill it... anyone who chose to keep it deserves the consequences, lol.
Eji there weren't any lmao
Joseph Brittan for now, guess we will find out in the next game?
Hopefully the creepy dialogue animation glitch doesn't carry through 😂
I liked this AI, she didn't give a fuck. The dialogue after you give her to the Angara is priceless. She was basically like "fuck the Angara, fuck the Kett, fuck this place and fuck you. Bye."
yeah except she got caught in every single lie by SAM which makes her owned!
"Meeseeks are not born into this world fumbling for meaning, Jerry! We are created to serve a singular purpose for which we will go to any lengths to fulfill! Existence is pain to a Meeseeks, Jerry. And we will do anything to alleviate that pain."
Yeah - I'm glad I destroyed that thing.
I know its crazy but her lines after you save her are so over the top and kill happy that I can't help but like her. The comedy potential alone is worth keeping her alive.
I can't believe we weren't given a second option to help rehabilitate this AI She could have connected with Sam and people on the Nexus even if there wasn't a direct connection
bruh you dont want tthat to happend, dont you see that she a bitch that want to kill everyone incluiding ketts?
Thank you very much for this, Fluffy.. this.. seemed like it was meant to be a much bigger impact than it actually landed with. REALLY wish this scene had a lot more build up, and especially some attachment dialogue to the random Angaran NPC, as well as have some more information paint an initial picture of the AI so there's a bigger shock when things go south.
I keep the AI myself cause I feel it has a huge potential to be a cool quest line or some story element. I wounder why it lied so much and what it is hiding. I hope we get more from it soon.
-Possible spoiler below-
I hate that it disappears after you beat the last mission. Hope that is just a bug and not that it got destroyed in the ship crash.
DarkTwo or maybe the Archon took it for himself?
George Avakov Cant be true, beat the game. i dont want to spoil it.
the AI dissapearing is unexplained
SHE'S ESCAPED!
FUmarc Her eye rolled away
DarkTwo could have been killed by the Kett, considering the Archon was in SAM node
Sahuna: This is my favorite daughter, her name is Sara.
Jaal's: But I thought I was your favorite?
Sahuna: You are my favorite son because you brought me my favorite daughter.
(Got this from tumblr)
My first two playthroughs I killed her to save the angara pleading for his family, I'm now on my third playthrough and I decided to make different choices so I saved her and sent her to Aya. After speaking with her I immediately regretted my decision, she is mean and homicidal, and after watching videos like this with her on the Hyperion (where she's downright creepy) I believe that it's always best to just put her out of her misery.
Perhaps I am just being impatient(as I have only had this game for about a week)...but the Architect(flying worm)...segment in Voeld is driving me bat-shit. I've upgraded my skills & weapons as much as possible...but despite this, I only managed to take out one of the Architect's legs...before I got decimated.
What really fries my brain, is that I am playing on the Narrative setting.
@@HighlandStudio91 shoot face, shoot leg, jump evade red lights, stay near those heaters, it takes a while to kill.
Got it on my 2nd try.
@@IBaitman Thanks for the tips...but I gave up on this(as this segment of the game took all of the fun out of it for me.) You have a gift for this level of difficulty, but I am not the zen master at it as you are. I'm done with Mass Effect(in fact, I am not even interested in the Legendary Edition.) I recently scored Elite Dangerous(Horizons)...for $7.49 and it's killer!
Unlike Mass Effect...in Elite, you can fly a ship in real time & light speed and actually fly into the atmosphere of a planet(the realism is very impressive.) There is an enormous amount to learn in this game, so I don't have any time at all to play Mass Effect(even if I wanted to go back to it.)
@@HighlandStudio91 entirely different games, one is a story based game, the other is an empty lifeless sim with nothing outside of the vehicles
@@supervastgut1568 Yeah...my first impressions of Elite Dangerous didn't last very long. Last time I played ED....I spent 90 minutes in super pursuit mode and never made it anywhere near the next star system(that's when I deleted the game & never looked back.) I had bought EverSpace back in 2019...but never delved deep into it...but for the last few weeks, I've been completely immersed in it and it's so much fun(very challenging...but fair & it's more hands-on...rather than needing tutorials for Elite Dangerous and EversSpace is an even playing field....as the upgrades you acquire along the way, get you through the mounting difficulties of the game.) EverSpace isn't an open world, but the story is interesting, the graphics are top notch & it's just an amazing blend of arcade & rpg. Better yet...EverSpace 2 is open world(so I could not care less about Mass Effect, Elite Dangerous or No Man's Sky)...can't wait to score a PS5 & download EverSpace 2!
"I'm afraid I cant let you do that Ryder"
Is it so bad that the AI reminds me of my ex so I reloaded my save a few times killing the AI? lol
They never expand on this AI and it disappears from SAM node after end game with no explanation if you keep it. *shrug* I fail to see the point of this decision.
kaliaprophet like almost every other "choice" in this game
This AI is a pain in the ass. Liar and dangerous and it's not every cooperative as it should be. I'd say get rid of this thing before it start something worse.
This is the most terrifying god damn thing I've ever seen in my life.
Some bits of Andromeda were pretty interesting... I would've loved to see what this AI ends up evolving to in future games had this entire potential trilogy not gotten fully shit-canned. :/
Kept it but regretting it every time I see that thing next to Sam Node. Should of gave it to the Resistance or put it down. I know something bad is going to happen.
On the one hand this will probably be a consequence for MA 2 wether she'll be less "coco for coco puffs" if you give her to SAM or even more so if you give her to the angara, on the other hand, I've got a gun.
Well she told me to destroy her so ofcourse i did not destroy her and gave her to the angara.
I hope thats something good for in the future games. If not im mad xD
it seems more like a transferred consciousness
Even Evfra doesn't sound too happy about this ancient AI.
The more I learned about the Angara, the less I respected them. They don't know anything about themselves and the Kett are destroying them; They need us, but they act like they don't. And this Angaran AI... We know how bad the Geth went, with how little faith I have in the Angara I wouldn't be surprised if this AI would be just as insidious. Also, it's just plain creepy.
I kept her. She's savage AF
This reminds me of Marvin from Hitchhiker's Guide
Thank you, I was wondering what happens if you give her to the angara. I took her to SAM, and she has interesting conversations with him in his node, even kinda hitting on him.
Funny glitch with Jaal speaking through the comm although he's standing next to you. )
ArashiGalaxy
I think they have Jaal speaking through the comm because of the English translator.
Voern AI: i like her
SAM: I like her to but she keeps screta
*whispers* she is crazy be careful.
xD
Saw the AI, saw the option to shoot it, killed it without hesitation. After the Reapers, no way I'm putting up with this shit again.
Ask her to count Pi and let her be... ;)
Yeah I made the right call; sometimes it's a good thing I play as the good guy. I saved the angara's life, and fried that machine's circuits.
I chose to keep it on the Nexus and decided to check back multiple times after. No change in duologue :/ also if you keep it, it disappears from SAM node after the final mission. Considering what happens before starting the final mission it makes its gone... so the best option is either kill it or send it to the Angara.
Yandere AI?
I kept the AI as I thought it would do something bad like kill a load of angara if i gave it to them. Also I thought by letting it be with SAM, we would be able to give info to the angara, but nope. Also, it's missing from SAM node after I completed the main quest line.
Ignisthir I killed it reminded me of that one ai in the first Mass Effect plus I don't want it to turn into a reaper
You know that first Ai is masseffect 1 ended up becoming EDI.
Christopher Bauchou The one on the citadel that was funneling money not the VI on the moon
Technically there were two. One was in.. what, a dispenser? on the Citadel. EDI came from the one in a base.
TheDeaconErudite But Edi was just a VI not an AI until Cerberus got her and paried her with Reaper tech from Sovereign
Don’t sweat the choice. BioWare has abandoned this storyline because too many dumb people hated this game. Shame. it was good.
I killed the AI. I don't think a crazy AI is worth it. It might cause some AI war like the Geth did. Plus someone dying isn't worth it. I'm so glad I picked to kill it now.
At least the Angara encrypted a woman and placed it inside a machine.
Morally I killed it. It was threatening to murder the angaran soldier, and it consistently lied throughout the conversation.
Yea if we ever get a sequel to andromeda I can already see this leading the equivalent of the geth.
When the ai has the same voice and accent as female angara....
I think it's clear that the AI should be destroyed. I'm all for sentient AI (EDI and the Geth have proven their worth) but this one is SO bitter and hateful. It's basically a murder-bot waiting to happen. SAM is at least pleasant and helpful, but this one sounds dangerous. Genocidal even.
This one has the potential to be the next Starchild/The Catalyst from the previous game. Throw it out the airlock.
i saved her and chucked her in with sam. got squat all.
After the end *SPOILER ALERT* the angaran AI disappears from S.A.M node....maybe the kett stole it if you send the AI to the Hyperion?
i don't know if that whas a scripting error from bioware or on purpose
Doesn't matter. Nothing matters in this game unfortunately.
Just like the most Part of ME1, but that actually got Sequels to work with that you know?
Its like GLADOS or the Boss AI but with none of the ironic charm.
In the Future, Feminism lives: as an AI SJW.
Just shut your fucking mouth pig.
Well that escalated quickly.
+Rensune oh you poor whiny baby you're so triggered by SJWs lmaooo. calm down babe you dont even know what feminism is hahaha
I died while scanning the rock, so now the mission is glitches for me. At least I know it looks cool...
Glitched*
I've got nothing against AI. In general, I love them! Love the geth, especially Legion (of course), adore EDI and SAM, and I would have been all for giving this AI a chance, too. Holding the angara hostage, though, was just too much. I JUST released that guy from slavery, and who knows how long he was there, and he BEGS you to save him bc he wants to see his family again.
This Ancient AI literally wants you to kill it. It's "a life for a life" remark, to me, is her saying "kill me and this guy lives--it's what I want (death) and what this guy (angara) wants." So fine, since you're being difficult and homicidal, and you apparently WANT to die anyway, I'll grant your wish. I would make the same decision if it were two organics.
So many people here seem to think that valuing synthetic life means valuing it over organic. I AM viewing this AI as a person--a person who had gone off the deep end and is holding someone hostage. Unfortunately, there's no obvious way to incapacitate the AI, which is something that could be done with an organic person, so shooting it is the only way to save that angara. But, if it were an organic, it would be more feasible to save both lives. Ugh. I want to save it just once and hand it over to Aya, but I just can't sacrifice that poor enslaved angara. He JUST got free and wants to go home.
so the AI is always pointless though, best way to make it the most not useful seems to be keep it for yourself but it doesn't look like it does anymore than that
rape it's usb ports!
And here is why having SAM around could hurt Ryder's story: back in ME we have nobody to tell us something's right or amiss, Shepards had to make the choices on his/her own instinct and deal with fallout.
Exactly. Should be called mass effect SAM.
Glados is strong in that one
The best is, for all the A.I in ME: EDI, Geths, this is the only truly truly true A.I. It really is self conscious, while EDI and Legion were still learning what it is, but even at the end, I don't think that EDI was so conscious like it
So, what kind of support does it provide at the end, if you give it to the angara? Anything significant?
HaloFan117 Nothing as usual. This is Andromeda after all.
Gyula Leon Soós Figured as much. But what exactly does happen?
HaloFan117
It calculates how to shoot gud, and the angara kill a few more kett than they would have otherwise. Other than that, I have no idea. It may turn out well, or it may not, but at least it's helping, so that's a good sign.
Zanithos
I see, thanks for the info.
HaloFan117
No prob. :)
I always kill the AI. That Angara has a family and just can’t let him die.
I normally choose the option to kill the AI, but I wanted to know what happens if you allow it to live. Now I see that I made the right choice to kill it. After lying to me constantly, almost killing an angaran, and (if allowed to live) airlocking supplies and being threatening to the angara, it is best to kill her. Given what we have seen with the geth and Reapers, it is best to kill it to prevent something like that from happening again.
"Who the f*ck woke up Karen!!!!???"
I saved it because I thought it would help me in the game like the Rachni Queen in the original Mass Effect.
i get what they were trying to do with a suicidal pseudo-nihilistic AI...
But the narrative &voice acting are so bad, it just comes off as a whiny millennial.
I would like to see a video on how she affects the ending of the game. Would you be willing to do that?
I been wondering what's the deal with dishonored 2 there's only one footage on your channel?
awesome vid, staright and to the point.. helped alot with my journey thank u
The voice of the pathfinder also does commercials for a Hyundai
LOL even her own A.I doesn’t like this A.I.
I don't know why she amuses me so much.
Birthing ultron moment and "ambitions remain small" jeez
It's a bitc[[y terminator stuck in a tin can
littery no choices make any outcome diffrent
This is what I have problem with this fucking game. Every occasions there are just characters acting like an idiot and there's no option for us to stop it.
so almost like reality then?
I’m on my first playthrough of this game. I know super late to it lol. Haven’t played any mass effect games before. I spared the AI because I thought when she said a life for a life that if I let her live she’s let the Amhara live. I was wrong.
Reminds me of Glados
I would let her live. Many people fear AIs for a reason, as we saw with the Geth and Reapers, and fear that the cycle would repeat again. But this was inevitable, it was always about wills clashing against each other and not about organics against synthetics. Her freedom should be restricted as punishment for what she did, but not forever. I would take the risks involved with it for a chance to perhaps allow more AIs like SAM to be created. I look forward to seeing what they could do with this.
The most un AI like AI in videogame history
The voice acting in this made me cringe
