4:13 Kipng'etich was slightly pushed by the Ethiopian and had nothing to do with the British guy falling. He was tripped by the Algerian trying to move to the first lane.
@@colevalentine6523 After rewatching several times at slow speed, I agree with you but the whole situation was messy. Kipng'etich was boxed in and was forced to overtake the Ethiopian from the inside. Also, can't rule out if the Brit and the Algerian were intentionally trying to block the faster runner, it's a common dirty trick in races.
@@dlasky I would agree with you, you're mostly right but I wouldn't say it's a dirty trick. It's just positioning, making other runners have to take a long way around or wait to exploit the moment. It's just racing.
Who's that female commentator? She tried so hard to implicate the Kenyan athletes. We can all see the replay ma'am. " That move will have to be looked at". He didn't even make contact with your Brit guy. The medal is still his. If you're going to be biased stay away from distance events and stick to your nationals. And it was the Algerian who made contact with him. Not intentionally though. You're blaming someone for 'starting chaos'. We all saw what happened even in Tokyo. Middle distance is prone to these accidents especially to people who wanna run in a bunch and insist on hogging the inside lane. You want the inside lane, run the way Lekuta did. Or go wide on the outside
The commentators are trying so hard to blame the Kenyan, even after seeing clearly in the replay that he wasn't involved, they are still adamant it is the Kenyan who tripped him!
I am Kenyan and I have to say that the British started a train of mess when they decided to colonize us. What we saw here is nothing. I don’t even know why he is crying.
Most kenyans give up because it is very hard to make the team to represent the country because of the high competition in the country. It demotivates most of them and thats why there are kenyans changing nationalities to get a chance to compete internationally
Solomon lekuta is like David lekuta rudisha ,i must confess because before I used to be angry when Kenyan athletes runs for other countries but it is better than to have so many waste talents
I don't know what the female commentator is watching the kenyan athlete was pushed by Ethiopian and he did his best to stay out of trouble he had nothing to do with the English athlete who tripped 🤔 🤷
@@jameswabwire1931 It's because the Brits have fallen, the commentaters are always objective 🙃. So they search someone to blame, but indeed if they show the replay it's neither of the kenyans

Kipngetich is a head of the Briton athlete I don't know how he tripled him the female commentator is watching a very different race
Great Britain for the accident but all participants did their best with no negative motive

The guy from Kenya kind of pushed the Ethiopian than his foot hit the British

regardless of what she says, she is pretty annoying. I'd not let her talk at all, not just commenting

No. Just a namesake.

Bad sportsmanship by the Algerian
