Leave the door open actually did really well on the charts and had a lot of longevity and live performances. Its still doing well and has been predicted to win a grammy. You are right though that they deserve all the attention

Bruno is a multi-instrumentalist and was introduced to bongos at a very young age because his father is a Latin percussionist. I saw a video of them playing together at one of Bruno’s concerts. I believe it was in Puerto Rico. Have you seen Bruno’s guitar playing in his Prince Tribute?

That „drrrrrr“ Instrument after the bridge is actually just a guitar slide with a fast picking… that’s a typical sound in soul, r&b music. U can also hear it in the beginning of leave the door open.

Bruno's voice has gotten deeper and stronger, compared to his softer voice earlier in his career I think it's because he smokes.

I can’t tell an exact point for Bruno because he do smoke + he sang distorting his vocals for a long time, maybe that can be a * yes, it’s because of smoking. * who knows man, I wish he stops it.

That guys a beast too.Really kind of a super group.Concerning paaks vocal development, i highly recommend listening to Sadie by his back then moniker Breezy Lovejoy. Already good, but quite an evolution till today.

I totally agree that Bruno's voice sounds more free. Much better than his earlier higher, tighter high notes. So much easier and more pleasant to listen to. You can say that his voice matured with age too.
I think for Bruno, it's so easy to hit a C5 and D5 notes... It's like his comfort zone..he can go higher than that.. He is an incredible vocalist.. I can barely name another male vocalist rn who can actually sing like Bruno

Is it just me? Bruno not only has a more full sound, but he sounds more in control and clear hitting that D5 than he did on previous songs and performances. I can't tell if he was just holding himself back then, or if he's just better trained now. 🤔
