    Hello!! The information is acurate in parts i believe because you did not mention that for eu citizens that have a degree of a pharmacist in the eu with five years duration and at least six months of traineeship, beside the german certificate certificate language that needs to be like B2-C1 level but mostly C1, and having a pharmacist licence in the Eu you need to do another exam called "Approbation" that verifies you to the German authorities that you are capable of understanding the terminology of the pharmacy work and the german legislation which this exam needs to be taken after three months of traineeship in a german pharmacy with a german owner. The exam takes place in the pharmacy. After receiving the Approbation you can eligible to work as pharmacist in Germany. I believe the same goes to the non eu citizens with all the rest that you said.

      Certainly, to work as a pharmacist in Germany, EU citizens with pharmacy degrees need to pass the "Approbation" exam after a traineeship in a German pharmacy. This exam tests their understanding of pharmacy terminology and German legislation. Non-EU citizens typically follow a similar process, including meeting qualifications, language proficiency, and passing exams, to practice as pharmacists in Germany. Language proficiency is crucial, often at the B2 to C1 level or higher.

    Thank you so much for the video, it really helps a lot. Just to make sure, I am from Peru and according to the video I can send all my documents to start the validation from my country, right? Once I start the validation I can start searching for job opportunities and then ask for a job visa, but then once in Germany I should have another exam to finally homologate my tittle?

    I am a german National and did my pharmacy degree in the UK. Do i class as EU or third country? Is there any other easier way to get recognised ?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  11 місяців тому

      If you're a German national with a pharmacy degree from the UK, post-Brexit changes may impact the recognition of your qualification. Germany treats EU and non-EU qualifications differently. To know your specific situation, contact German authorities like the "Zentralstelle für ausländisches Bildungswesen" or the relevant pharmaceutical association. They can guide you on recognition and potential alternative pathways, considering your German nationality. Regulations may change, so rely on official sources and expert advice.

    Do i need to have pharm d to work in Germany or can i work with a 4 years bachelor degree in pharmacy?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  3 місяці тому

      To work as a pharmacist in Germany, you do not necessarily need a Pharm.D.; you can work with a 4-year Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. However, you will need to have your degree recognized by the relevant German authorities, and this might require passing an equivalency exam or fulfilling other requirements depending on how your qualifications align with German standards. Additionally, proficiency in the German language is typically required, often at a B2 or C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It's advisable to check with the relevant state's health authority in Germany for specific requirements.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  10 місяців тому

      As a graduate of BS Pharm D from Pakistan, you can pursue a career in pharmacy in Germany, but it involves several steps. Begin by having your qualifications evaluated and recognized in Germany through the Recognition of Foreign Qualifications process. Proficiency in the German language is typically required, and you may need to pass language exams. Fulfill the licensing requirements, which may include exams or additional training. Obtain the necessary visa and residence permit for study or work in Germany. Seek job opportunities in pharmacies or hospitals, as securing a job offer is often essential for obtaining a work visa or permit. Finally, consider joining professional pharmacy associations in Germany and consulting with experts to navigate the process effectively. Specific requirements may vary by region in Germany, so research thoroughly and consult with relevant authorities for the most accurate information.

      If you read the article, it says that you need Germany language proficiency to get your degree recognized.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Рік тому

      Moving to Germany without knowing the language can be difficult, particularly if you work in pharmacology. German language proficiency is typically necessary for employment opportunities and successful integration. Consider picking up German, looking into research opportunities or companies that employ English speakers, requesting a Job Seeker Visa, or going back to school in English-taught courses. However, long-term integration and career advancement almost certainly call for language proficiency.
