Legend! Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons have many hits. Who Loves you Pretty Baby, Ragdoll, and many others. The Jersey Boys Broadway play was about them.
The film is Jersey Boys. It's the movie version of the multiple Tony award-winning Broadway musical of the same name. I've seen both. The live musical is way better than the movie.
Romantic love... It's about emotion... Not sex, not women as objects, not about the guy being a stud. You nailed it with "commitment". She's the only one... Married 35 years, and she still "takes my breath away".
Frankie Valli and the four seasons, they have a lot of great hits." Oh, what a night, late december 1965" , "Can't take my eyes of you"etc. ....And your analyses at the end, yess, 100% !
We have 3 daughters and 4 sons, all taught to treat others with respect! My sons are nice guys. Don't worry you can sort out the bad ones when they come around like my husband did! Luckily our girls listened to dads advice! Frankie Valli really had some great songs! We love him! Please do more!
As a kid hard rocker, I never cared much for Frankie, but I've built an appreciation over the years, especially as the ability to write well-structured and pened songs has greatly gone to the way side.
Frankie might be the OG of falsetto voices, especially when he sang with The Four Seasons. This song, he sang in his regular high voice, which I always enjoyed a bit more than his falsetto. Great classic Pop.
You positively will love these 3 songs and so many more..We used to watch them sing on street corners ..My eyes adored you, Oh what a night, Can't take my eyes off of you, And many more !!!
Yes! His voice can go real high. Check out Sherry. Also check out the movie Jersey Boys based on the musical of the same name. It is about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Sherry: ua-cam.com/video/Bn6e-n0b-EM/v-deo.html
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons have a HUGE list of AMAZING songs. Their songwriter was INCREDIBLE! I hope you dive DEEP into their greatness Chod! P.S. I strongly recommend Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You for your next reaction to them.
Frankie Valli sang the theme song for the movie Grease in 1978 as well as solo hits and Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons hits. Seen him in concert back in 2018 in his mid 80's (a true legend in the music business).Grease is the word.....
Been traveling for the past week, and this has been my first chance to get back to your videos. What a treat this was for me to watch first. Always loved Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, and your reaction and comments were a thing of beauty. Check out Opus 17 (Don’t You Worry ‘bout Me), Let’s Hang On, Rag Doll, Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You, Dawn Go Away…Oh, so many great songs that bring back the best memories. He had the best falsetto ever. And your daughter is very blessed to have a dad like you.
Chod, the music history you're experiencing is what I've been trying to expose my almost 19yo to. He plays guitar and I've been desperately trying to expose him to the "greats" in bands, musicians, guitarists, many of which you've reacted to. I played your Outlaws-"Green Grass & High Tides" reaction video thru bluetooth while he was driving my Jeep and I believe YOUR reaction impacted him positively!! (I'm just mom--not as cool as you!) Yesterday while i had your reaction to a metal song playing on my phone, he heard it and yelled from his room, "is that [insert band song name lol]" and I told him I was listening to another reaction from "that same UA-camr, Chod".. I'm hoping he will start following you if he hasn't already! --Keep doing what you're doing!! And Thank you!!
This song is like a painting in a museum which, while understanding why it's in the museum, you still don't care for it. For the sappy love long category, a band called The Association had some great songs. Had to look up this song. Thought it was 60's, but, it's from '75.
Great reaction! 8 love Frankie and I agree with every thing you said. I saw a t-shirt recently that said "Hey, you can't scare me..I have 3 Daughters". 😀
Thank you for saying what needs to be said about music, morals, family, real romance and the need for love songs, as opposed to trash talk masquerading as music.
To continue the vibe you are talking about, consider "I'll Be There" by the Jackson 5, "I'll Be Around" by The Spinners, and "Nadia's Theme" (the theme from The Young and The Restless by the truly, truly legendary Henry Mancini).
I would have been here sooner except for I was watching a repeat of your song reaction from Seals and Crofts😄 so wondering if you might be able to react to any James Taylor. Looks like it would be the first so I would say "shower the people" such a great song❤please!!!
If there was ever a song that I wanted to sing to a lady (especially back in junior high) this one was, and still is, it. Still gives me that romantic longing after all this time. It also gives me further proof that a lot of songs that came out around 1974 and 1975 were unusually memorable and captivating.
'Love You So', a very beautiful song by Free. Paul Rodgers as always singing from his soul and with such emotion, you can hear it in every word, particularly building up towards the end. Paul is one of the few artists that can still sing effortlessly today. Paul went from Free to Bad Company and both bands were way up there with the best! You were blown away with 'She Brings Me Love' Chod, and downloaded the song straight after reacting. This is another classic love song worth a reaction.😉
How about a catchy lil song same era by the COWSILLS "THE RAIN, THE PARK AND OTHER THINGS" IT always made my Heart Flutter!🙂 thanks for your great show either way👍🙏❤
The songs today are mostly about hopping in the sack. There is no romance, no tenderness, no vulnerability. The songs are almost predatory in nature. I’m old enough to remember the songs of love that had us girls swooning, much like this one.
The problem is the process. Back then, some people got together in high school and practiced in garages. Then they hustled and worked to get their music out there. When they recorded, they recorded what was there; if you didn't have talent it was too bad. These days, the record companies round up some characters to play the part of rock stars, record something they think might sell, and send it to a sound lab. At the lab they tweak, autotune and engineer the recording rather than just producing it. The real performers are the sound engineers.
I don't think most couples together today, think they're going to be with that person at the end of their life, and I think it reflects in the songs, that are out today.
Just watching what you said in the wrap up to this song and it reminded me so much of the beautiful song that Tom MacDonald and Dax wrote called "Blame the Rappers", which is on the topic of JUST what you mentioned here. I'd love if you could react to it. It's really a piece of art that raises awareness of issues just like what you mentioned
You are so spot on! I dont care what anyone says music does influence kids. Music today is teaching young men to treat women like whores!!!!! Its scary and young girls believe it! I am so glad my son is almost 40!!!!! ✌❤
Frankie was legally deaf at this point in his life and had to read lips and go off memory. He needed major surgery to correct his hearing and have it restored.
fyi... Steve Harvey wrote a book for young women... Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man... I highly recommend for all young women nowadays... Might be a nice gift for your daughters. Time for women to take charge. btw... Love you reactions!
Artists don’t make songs like this anymore because the recipe for this is time and talent. Most of today’s artists either don’t have the talent or are forced to make quick microwaveable “hits” so they never become great songwriters over time.
The Four Seasons' record compamy rejected this song! Frankie bought the song for something like $3,000 and released it as a solo artist. Record companies made a lot of stupid mistakes.
Legend! Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons have many hits. Who Loves you Pretty Baby, Ragdoll, and many others. The Jersey Boys Broadway play was about them.
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons had so many great songs. There is a film about their lives.
And a great musical.
The film is Jersey Boys. It's the movie version of the multiple Tony award-winning Broadway musical of the same name. I've seen both. The live musical is way better than the movie.

Beautiful song then and now. TIMELESS ‼‼‼
Romantic love... It's about emotion...
Not sex, not women as objects, not about the guy being a stud.
You nailed it with "commitment".
She's the only one...
Married 35 years, and she still
"takes my breath away".
Your smile when Frankie first starts to sing was classic. So many great hits from Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons!
Chod, you will love their "Who Loves You", "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and many more.
Used to slow dance to this song. Man I'm getting old fast. Stay forever young my friend.
Frankie Valli and the four seasons, they have a lot of great hits." Oh, what a night, late december 1965" , "Can't take my eyes of you"etc.

Checkout "Cant take my eyes off you" "Frankie Valli"
Chod a good follow up would be I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You. One of Frankie's best.😎
Frankie might be the OG of falsetto voices, especially when he sang with The Four Seasons. This song, he sang in his regular high voice, which I always enjoyed a bit more than his falsetto. Great classic Pop.
agree
Lead singer of the iconic Four Seasons! If you ever get a chance go see the live show Jersey Boys about them. The film doesn’t do it justice!
I loved the movie too. Loved the Broadway play and the movie. How can you not like Christopher Walken?
@@Coolrockndad I love the fast pace of the show with non stop music.
Please react to "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"👍👍
You positively will love these 3 songs and so many more..We used to watch them sing on street corners ..My eyes adored you, Oh what a night, Can't take my eyes off of you, And many more !!!
Frankie Valli is in his 80s and still sounds great."My Eyes Adored You", is so beautiful.Brings back so many memories.
I had my first ever slow dance with a boy at the end of term disco! I adore this song, always. So soulful.
Man, they sure don’t write ‘em like this any more. Now I gotta see if I can find some those old beach movies.
I didn't know he sang this song... I can't. So beautiful...
Thank You so much for all that you said in your reaction to this video. As a father, I agree so much.
Yes! His voice can go real high. Check out Sherry. Also check out the movie Jersey Boys based on the musical of the same name. It is about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Sherry: ua-cam.com/video/Bn6e-n0b-EM/v-deo.html
"Who Love You' is a great jam of theirs. You won't be disappointed.... PROMISE !!
Great reaction. Pronounced like valley. You are accumulating quite an impressive song catalog.
You are so right.
You are a very wise young man! God bless you. ❤
I remember The Four Seasons when I was a young teenager. My sister and I loved Frankie Valli's voice and the passionate songs the group sang.
“ A House Is Not A Home” by the great Luther Vandross is right up your alley, Chod!
One of my favourite songs, thank you.
"Opus 17 (Don't You Worry 'bout Me)" and "Working My Way Back To You" are great, catchy Four Seasons songs.
May i say, my best friend of 20 yrs, is the most wonderful human being.
See "The Four Seasons" for your Frankie Valli fix. "Sherry", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Rag Doll", "Dawn", and on and on...
You are absolutely correct frank is the best

What a lovely song, wow
Gorgeous song

Pronounced Valley...he is simply amazing!
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons are incredible.
Listen to everything you can find by them!
This song is like a painting in a museum which, while understanding why it's in the museum, you still don't care for it. For the sappy love long category, a band called The Association had some great songs. Had to look up this song. Thought it was 60's, but, it's from '75.
I appreciate what you said about our culture. What you say is true. It's very sad.
Great reaction! 8 love Frankie and I agree with every thing you said. I saw a t-shirt recently that said "Hey, you can't scare me..I have 3 Daughters". 😀
This song was released in 1975. I asked my Alexa 😂. I was 14 in junior high school and in 8th grade. I’ve always loved this song.
Amazing 🎵
Thank you for saying what needs to be said about music, morals, family, real romance and the need for love songs, as opposed to trash talk masquerading as music.
My favorite song from him!! Bread is a group you should listen to.
Also this is an amazing song! Classic for sure so pretty❤
Sadly our generation took this music for granted😞I’m sure we all regret it now!
I think the explanation for the music today is "It's all about the benjamins". As long as people keep buying it, artists are gonna keep making it.
Best song- Who Loves You
To continue the vibe you are talking about, consider "I'll Be There" by the Jackson 5, "I'll Be Around" by The Spinners, and "Nadia's Theme" (the theme from The Young and The Restless by the truly, truly legendary Henry Mancini).

"Fallen Angel " is my favourite solo hit ❤️
YEP! No more Morals, it's all Superficial, Have thrown out God's Principles 🥺🙏❤
The songs today are mostly about hopping in the sack. There is no romance, no tenderness, no vulnerability. The songs are almost predatory in nature. I’m old enough to remember the songs of love that had us girls swooning, much like this one.
I live in NYC. My daughter knows lots of nice boys. Don't worry too much.
Chod, you gotta teach your daughter to demand RESPECT. also, how you treat women is the best example.
give Luther Vandross A House Is Not A Home a listen it will put a tear in your Eyes or flat out make you cry thanks
Betty Padget has done an excellent reggae version on this.

Women were respected back then and not so much now.

Mine was Jeanette. She was 5th grade, I was 6th. I thought she was beautiful. I hope she is doing well.
