    We have the same hair type and my hair grows fast like yours too! I did my third big chop June 2018 and by January I was shoulder length. I’m aiming for at least 1 year without heat but I have a hard time thinking of styles so I’m glad I came across your channel. Subscribed!

    I'm so happy I've met someone who has natural hair who doesn't have it wayyy down all grown out to get help or maybe understand from at least we'd learning from scratch I've been on my hair journey 1 year now n I've been struggling with my hair type my hair looks quite similar to yours but in the top upper part of my hair it's wide curl pattern I've got a few few mixed for everywhere except 4c 😂😂 so it's ah bit difficult to deal with my hair cause it looks thick but it's a bit light or fine in some areas it's just crazy for me tho all together thanks for sharing n great video bless weekend to u

    Loved all your tips and I need to purchase that book for sure💕!!! I also found that frequent trims have helped my hair retain length, this may be excessive but I pretty much trim any scraggly ends each time I wash my hair and it helps me notice if how I've worn my hair throughout that week has caused any additional breakage!

    YOUR RIGHT DONT LISTEN TO EVERYONE ABOUT HOW THEY TAKE CARE OF THEIR HAIR. YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR SCALP CLEAN. DO NOT LET YOU HAIR GET TOO DIRTY THIS WILL SLOW UP THE HAIR GROWTH. DRINK BEET JUICE IT ALLOWS BLOOD TO FLOW THROUGH EVEN YOUR SCALP. THIS INCREASE HAIR GROWTH. SPINACH AVOCADO ALMONDS. BOILED EGGS. AND YES I USE CANTU HAIR LOTION TO MOISTURIZE. AND YES BE PATIENT DONT WORRY AND PRAY. MY HAIR HAS GROWN SO MUCH WHILE DOING THESE THINGS. YOUR HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL

    @olives_chels Nice video, on the second tip just to be clear. do you mean its advisable to not necessarily corn row or twist your hair but cover with a bonnet and a scarf and go if i am lazy to put in a plait.

    • @olivechels
      @olivechels  7 років тому +2

      i try to plait it up most of the time. i feel like that helps keep the moisture in but i have just worn my fro under a bonnet & scarf before

    • @GLOW_WITHIN1
      @GLOW_WITHIN1 7 років тому

      olive chels ok thanks not a bad idea I guess will just stick with it for a while cos I just got lazy plaiting my hair.

    What's the best moisturizer do you recommend for dry short natural hair?

    • @olivechels
      @olivechels  7 років тому +4

      i've been using cantu leave-in & the shea moisture curl & style milk sealed in with avocado oil. that's been great for me. i'm about to try the newer cantu leave-in. let me know if you'd like me to review it

    • @VibeswithLee223
      @VibeswithLee223 7 років тому +2

      So do you use the leave in everyday or just when u wash it

    • @VibeswithLee223
      @VibeswithLee223 7 років тому +2

      Yes I'd want you to do a review on it

    • @olivechels
      @olivechels  7 років тому +4

      just when i wash it. i don't moisturize my hair everyday but i do wash my hair once a week

    • @VibeswithLee223
      @VibeswithLee223 7 років тому +1

      Ok thanks for the advice
      Plz do a review on the products that you use to moisturize cause I'd want to try them but I want to hear your thought on them first
