It’s amazing to compare this footage to the 76’ Rockshow footage. They’re surprisingly cohesive for such a young band here, but it’s interesting to see how differently they play Hi Hi Hi with a different lineup only 3 or 4 years later
Absolutely. My best concert was seeing Paul in Green Bay, Lambeau Field! June 2019. Newspaper said two best things to happen in GB were Packers and Paul McCartney
Y'know one has to recognize that however hard and fractured the beatles legal thing had gotten by '72 and remained for the rest of the 70s the McCartneys played it w/ so much fun, BUSY-ness and shear swagger that they never sweated one drop in public. From 1970-1980 Paul HAD FUN and demonstrated his leadership par excellence. Aside from his enormous talent his ability to focus on what was directly in front paid everyone in his circle dividends.
Honestly… Wings shows were FUN and their music is infectious and so good!! Paul rocked onstage and made it look easy, he perfected the strut with that Rick bass during the Wings Over America tour, he was a god of music on the stage-he was BORN for it!
This footage immediately takes me to my childhood recollections of the still photos featured within the RED ROSE SPEEDWAY booklet attached to the gatefold…
This s the wrong audio track for the video. It's not just that it is out of sync, the sync is all over the place, sometimes in, sometimes just out, sometimes way out, if it were simply out of sync it would be constant, but it isn't.
Great version
Amazing how this film had been kept under wraps for so long. Great quality camera, and very interesting to see this line up of Wings.
La voix de Paul est juste fabuleuse.
Putain, quelle voix !
Great live version. Paul great composer but also a musician who loves to play live , just great

This is pure gold!! McCartney is my musical hero of all time!!
This takes me back to those wonderful carefree days, when this song was relevant !
McCartney super voice mode !
That guitar solo is something else. Not sure what, but something else :)
The first solo was out of tune, the second was alright. Paul`s perfomance was amazing.
As always :)
No surprise he didn’t last! From my love to that mess woweee!
Was the first solo Denny Laine's? The first bit of footage looked like it then it went to something else.
@@televinv8062 It was Henry McCullough's, Denny is using a strat, and that out of tune solo sound came from humbuckers in Henry's Gibson.
Anything with Linda is Fab...
She was so important to Wings. r k
Just the best writer, rock and music musician of all time

@@MarkMorris-vt4bg what is Packers?
FANTASTIC UNSEEN FOOTAGE ♥️
The footage of the African people matches the rhythm perfectly!🙏🙏
Good time ! Macca at his best.

that's what i love about him, along with his genius

What a amazing version!!!!!!! thank you for sharing
I saw them in 1972 at the Olympia Paris. What a memory ! And Paul still there entertaining the world. Good times ❤
Hi, Hi, Hi, is my all-time favorite!!!!
It will always be one othe greatest of the greatest performance gotto love it all yepp
Quite different musically from the album versions and other live performances I've seen, I liked it.
Great song. I've never seen this footage of Wings before.
Great voice!
Incredible footage!
wonderful footage.wow Macca sonds amazing.
Well, well, well... it IS "polygon!"
Amazing. Paul McCartney in top form!!
One of his Netherlands shows. Maybe I was there...
Oefff, those mistuned guitars...
How was it?
This is best live footage I've ever seen of this Wings lineup. Nice, thanks for posting
Unreal ❤
thnk you great video. this is real wings.
muy bueno no conocia estas versiones, de 1972 gracias
Sooo goood
This has a nice groove to it, better than the fast version live in Wings over America.
Agreed. Macca sings this version with alot more soul.
I just realized how much Henry McCullough and Linda look alike. I loved his guitar playing since he was with Joe Cocker and the Grease Band.
if you look at Stella McCartney she resembles Henry???
@@billyraymac99 Nmms, ella nació en el 71, y esta agrupación es de 1973/74, y además, Paul los conoció en 1972 por ahí.
@@billyraymac99 Oh dear, you're right.

EL mejor show que escuche en mi vida... ( Habria q pasaselo a los politics argentinos...) para q sepan lo q nos perdimos..
🎼Maravillosos recuerdos 🎵😮😅😊
Great sidies, great song. No hair on arms?
YEAAAH!!!
wooow! Gracias por subirlo mi Genaro! ❤️
Siempre te veo comentar cosas de Cerati, ahora te veo acá comentando algo de Paul McCartney.
@1:26 lol, plus the girl's reaction🤣

Tge best of all time with dylan jagger Richards Cobain and n Gallagher
420 blaze it
I never seen version..hi hi hi in country
Henry playing in all of the keys. Not necessarily the right ones!
Rick Summers haha great call! First solo was a hot mess,it just got worse! Lucky his second was closer to in key!
@@lukelawns6612 he's a bit hit and miss - compared to flashy jimmy!

It was a good idea to pick up the tempo on this.
Before they changed the groove...
Remember ladies: beware of bananas and polygons.
Awsome fun, love wings, and Paul, his guitarist had a bit of trouble though, and was out of tune, But of course, it's Paul so who cares!
Who’s that in place of jimmi mc
Henry McCullough
Paul, tune that bass!
😂😂😂
The lead guitar seems off? Or is it just me?
It seems that the traditional dance of African people and "HI HI HI" are very fused.
What the hell is that guitar solo, his guitar is more out of tune than mine; it doesn't have strings
Henry's guitar always seemed to be out of tune when he played live?!
Whoa - atonal train wreck...ha ha. But man, that voice makes up for a lot of sins.
Bro how did they play this song live?! It’s so inappropriate 😂
check Wings over America 1976
All out of tune.
It's a different tempo
Someone's out of tune...
💀
Just high
glad the guitarist quit, the next jimmy was way better
you got that right
Dreadful
What the Beatles could have been live! I know this song was banned by the BBC but did it get banned in the US as well?
yes
