- You will find echoes of the past in this week's collection of Amazing Historical Photos. As always, many "far too often seen" photos don't make the cut. Through lengthy research, this channel endeavors to bring you the rarest vintage photos.

Love your channel, thanks for taking the time to put the pictures and music together
Glad you like them! … Thank you 🤗
At 8:45 I wonder where the person taking the picture was lol. As always great collection of photos.
Thank you for the photos.
My pleasure 🤗
I'll never tire of this channel. The music seems to be more gentle and wistful. I really enjoyed it. Thank you, Mark. Best wishes from Cheltenham in England.
Thank you 🤗
A few of these looked like images from one collection. I never knew Robert Wadlow travelled by air. He must have had a fine old time boarding and disembarking, poor fellow.
I have lots of great Wadlow photos … I usually share one most weeks … He was a lovely chap by all accounts
This channel is a weekly treat! My fave in this set is the 1862 first underground subway ride- I wonder where they were going with their tophats 🎩 on?
Thank you …glad to have you with us 🤗
This was general daily attire for the period … even the top hat 🎩 … Although this was taken at a pre-opening test so kind of a special occasion for “dignitaries” for want of a better term
My favourite ever from all of these collevtions is the young French soldier about to go "over the top." I think it is colourised. His expression is incredible. I'd love to see that again. I'd buy a print if I could find it. Hint, hint Mark.
I did look for it again but couldn’t find it . It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack at this point 🙈. … I’ll take another look this week 👍🏻
@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos Bless you.
4:22 This looks more like a cat to me.🤔
Great pictures.😊👌
You know, I thought that too at first … and I love cats. But, if you zoom in, it’s a small puppy.
@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos You're absolutely right, i looked closely at the photo, and it is a doggie, not a cat. 🤭
At 9:48 the photo of the fancy elevator from the savoy hotel has an odd lens flare caused by the chandelier or is it something else???? Why is it green? And why does lens flare issue cause an out of focus effect to extend to a small section of the bench s well past the lens flare??? Yes I'm sure there's a logical explanation or is there????
Wow i never knew that no one else had defeated Jack Dempsey previously
He actually lost 6 times … But, only once by knockout … He won 68 times .. 53 by knockout.. absolute beast 🥊
👍
Unfortunately such was his great height that Robert Wadlow suffered from circulation problems on his legs and an ill fited brace caused an infection which led to his death at the age of 22 in 1940
He had several health problems due to his height … all the more remarkable that he was universally known as a lovely polite chap.
Yes....AI is radically changing the field of photography
It’s making my research 1000 times more difficult !
@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos and as a photographer, it will have me question sometimes in shows & competitions whether the photos are genuine or AI
It’s getting so difficult to tell and the technology will only get better … Nothing seems real anymore .. But, the more I read about the quantum world the more I’m beginning to believe this is all one big simulation anyway !
