- Just some before and after as well as driving footage. Best to use headphones or speakers to do the video some justice!
Overall these are a nice amount quieter than just deletes and in my opinion. Perfect for daily driven sound that isn't overly obnoxious on long trips.
The build quality is a 8.5/10, but at the price range it's not bad at all and I would reccomend them! Also something like this from namelessperformance will set you back like 640 dollars! These? Just 320 free shipping.
You basically get all stainless construction. 3.5" double wall stainless tips, 6" flow through mufflers.
(So the 8.5 rating is based on this. not the prettiest welds in the world, but they're much nicer than I could probably do myself! Steel flanges are plated to look like polished stainless, bends arent 100% cosmetic a slight amount lumpy on the tubing just after the flanges, and the piping inside the tips are a hair too long than they should be but it's not even that big a deal, now just nitpicking here)
The deep low frequencies experienced with the stock mufflers is gone. If deletes were a 10/10 and stock is a 1/10, I'd rate these a 6/10. louder than the oem STi/spt exhaust but not as loud as straight up deletes
Awesome review buddy. Thank you
I can’t find that exhaust. I like it since is not that loud
this doesnt void the warranty right? i have a black wrx from timmons as well
Yo!!!! That's paramount lol I live there
I think it sounds bad, like ricer honda. Is that the general consensus from people who have been looking this one up?
It's because it's equal length and an Automatic - sounds terrible
So ive read that over time (couple weeks) the sounds gets really poppy and crackling. Have you experienced any of it.? I just received this but havent installed yet due to reviews on it.
juan montanez this is a cvt wrx and it's only been 1 week so far, haven't noticed any difference over time. Honestly there is nothing that should change from day 1 to 2 weeks later. Crackling may be more pronounced in a manual car than a cvt during high rpm engine braking and hot exhaust temps, even from the factory tune. On a side note any fuel sunburnt fuel making its way into the exhaust especially when hot after some hard driving will ignite and is how crackles & pops form. but thats it. Not to the extreme of crackling like on a burble tune (look this up if you dont know what it is). There is hardly any difference between deletes from nameless and srs as well as their axle backs with mufflers. If one makes the car pop/crackle the other should too due to the similarities of the modification. I'd say dont let a lot of false info out there get to your head. Buying these over nameless saves you a huge chunk of cash for basically the same thing, but of course of a different quality level, but still worth them money. (I have my opinions in the description of youd like to read it)
ogsmokey187 hey man I break in my srs axel back and it’s loud on my cvt lol
ogsmokey187 plus for the money it the best to save money and buy and sounds like r400 in person
It pops little bit when rev it
ogsmokey187 put it in maunel mode you will hear it roar when in auto it act normal until drive hard you can hear it
Is this a CVT...?
Do you have the link?
Search the exhaust on ebay. Prices went up oddly after we bought these
It’s not the same without the spoiler
Never buy automatic/cvt wrx if you’re a guy.
Go keep your opinions in the trash where they belong? Like??? Get over yourself 😂
