Should I call Malvado as soon as I dash and kick, or first the kick and with a small delay, I call Kameo? I managed to get it right once when I was a little late in activating the mavado. thanks.
so sento reacts to inputs as if you have negative edge on, as in it reacts both when you press a button AND when you release a button so lets say you just did s4 db2 ex (sento resummon) and you want to cross jump next, you DONT LET GO of 2 from the db2 ex. jump over and let go of 2 then hope that explanation makes sense!
yeah you gotta be careful to only start inputting that after sento 4 connects. you'll notice if you do it too early that it feels like you can't land sento 2 afterwards (you need mavado to come out later) alternatively try the dbu method it is more lenient
Iam getting the combo your way but its not consistent for me, and when I tried the hayateis way its not working at all. Can u please give me any further instructions for the hayateis method?
1. make sure you have input shortcuts turned on 2. input is now stand 4, down back up, 1+R1 unfortunately it's hard for me to explain much better than that. if you havent done this already you can set youtube playback to 0.25x and watch my input if you want to send me a clip of you attempting it (include button log) I can try and help you troubleshoot further
Thank you so much I will practice to get it done but I think your method is just better for me. After training a bit I am getting it almost every time now. And I also noticed that after hitting standing 4 and immediately holding up and than pressing cameo button it's much easier to perform sento stance into the combo. That's how my brain understands how to preform this, mb it will help someone else. Once again thank you man, great tutorials. yup slightly! I replaced the dpad with 4 separate buttons from battlebeaver customs (~$11 total) and while I was installing them I noticed that the ps4 x button had the same grooves, so I swapped that in (purely aesthetic change)
I'm gonna be honest with you, I wanted a clip of the combo in a KL match and I landed it like twice... but neither worked out in a way that I wanted to clip (I wanted to bring them to ~70% in base kenshi, then do the bnb into sento sandwich, then armor break into brutality into kl set score) so yes but also no
They have to nerf Kenshi man😭. He’s the only character i’ve seen destroy people in the same way regardless of level. In between sento’s, rewind’s and my gameplay are the same.
Without Sento, what does Kenshi even have? Strings with gaps everywhere, damage worse than subzero, no reason to block overhead other than a reactable db2 mb, unsafe ending strings and specials. The only good normals he has in sento stance is his F4 which is a fast double hitting mid which has a gap but is +1 on block. The other in his normal stance is his F2 normal which has no hurt box and is great against mashers but the rest of the string has nothing but gaps.
His 122 string is gapless and so is 42 his d3 and d4 is rly good. f1 also has great reach his b2 is a 16f overhead that can now full combo with mavado and his b1 / b4 are 13f lows. so unreactable mix anyways sento without spirit is missing a lot of key things (safe on block special, an armor move) but Its balanced by sento with spirit being rly rly strong. ppl are just freaking out because mavado gives him throw combos into sento sandwhich
its fine, just don't get hit (or grabbed) oh don't hold block pressure either cuz that gives me sento too but be careful how you take your turn back because there are mine setups ...
thats a complicated question unfortunately that doesnt have a simple answer. are you talking abt base kenshi pressure? sento sandwich kenshi? kenshi with a particular kameo? im planning on making a detailed guide on your options AGAINST sento sandwich when I hit 10k subs so maybe thatll help when it drops? if you have a specific question or scenario you can ask me here

Nice video. Can you explain, in Sento stance, how to jump over your opponent without doing any attacks while having Sento do attacks? Thanks

are you doing the up+r1 db1 method? or the dbu 1+r1 method?
for the former its rly important you only start inputting after the s4 connects
