Oh hell yeah, glad someone already reuploaded this. And with snazzier visuals to boot! That’s uh, that’s my bad. I’d largely abandoned that channel ages ago for the one I have now. Originally I just left it idle, then one day my old email was bombarded with a bunch of content violations at once that I can only assume were copyright-related. Towards the end of the channel’s life I was mostly just uploading either rips or edits of otherwise unavailable soundtracks. One of them, a Fullmetal Alchemist movie, finally made its proper way to digital and streaming. Which probably made _my_ uploads a target. At least you saved the best one. I made like five of these things, uploaded three of them, and was only ever happy with two.
@@APinchofBazel Oh wow, cool to hear from the OG uploader! That’s a real shame to hear about your other channel. I really enjoyed all of your SOTL suites/medleys, they mixed/flowed perfectly imo. you can hear the core melody of this a lot throughout the game, most notably in the tracks "Don't Worry, They'll Be Back" and "The Lost Battalion", and the track "Atrium Battle" is pretty much the same as the combat track used in Chapter 14. Some truly great foreshadowing you can really only pick up on during a second playthrough, and for me makes replaying it just that much eerier.

@@noobgamersland6969 I kinda wanna see a game where we play as the Dammed 33rd and we see first hand what happened in Dubi and see the civil war between the 33rd and the Exiles, and that we try to stop Walker but it’s hopeless, and we could also play the civilians in the White Phosphorus scene. And see the conflict with Grey Fox(CIA) and the Dammed 33rd and Exiles.
I agree, the soundtrack genuinely hammers in what goes on within Walker's head. Though, even if the game were successful, we wouldn't have gotten a sequel anyway due to the game being in development hell in 5 years, and especially because of how dark the game was, it was best that the game developers made something more light-hearted.
@@donnergrober179 Spec Ops: The Line was one of the most unlikely games to ever happen on it's own, Yager was given no restrictions on what they could develop for the game and it shows how strong their creative vision was from the start.
