Fun fact: When Walker gets killed by the Heavy Lugo, you don't get a loading screen. Walker wakes back up after seeing another vision of the mother holding her child and wakes up back at the last checkpoint, where the heavy doesn't look like Lugo anymore.
Actually 🤓 you can defeat the heavy lugo and move into the building and if you get killed as soon as you go in you will also see the horrors we have committed
Mission objective late game: • Get to lugo - Now! • Up the street - Move! • Take the gatehouse! • *Run god damn it!* Man, even the objective had turned hostile towards you.
Walker himself also becomes more unhinged as the game goes on. If you command Lugo or Adams to do something at the beginning he says, “Tango down” or “Neutralize these hostiles.” Towards the end of the story he screams, “KILL THESE MOTHERFUCKERS!”
As more and more time passes through the game, Walker loses his sanity, and his insistence that not only did Konrad do this, but that he should be killed lead to his eventual downfall. The 33rd, the innocent civilians caught up in this mess, and even his own squad are all victims of Captain Walker. +laura A It was over the course of two days. About a week if you count the epilogues. (Day 1) You first get to Dubai during daylight, then when you meet Riggs it's night. (Day 2) When you save Lugo at the mall it's daylight again, and by the time you reach the Burj Khalifa stand-in (Conrad's tower) it's night again. (Epilogues) When Walker is waiting for the rescue team he has a noticeable beard, so add a few more days.
Ahmed Ghulam I did that because Walker needs to live with his mistake (repeating Konrad's mistake) and perhaps one day he might find the power to accept it and forgive himself for forcing his men to follow a mirage with him and killing the main protagonist in the end of any game has always been pointless.
Roblereck I know I’m more than late to be replying to this, but every time someone says that he died in beginning and think that Walker killing himself would let him escape doesn’t add up to me. It’s not specifically the possibility that he is in some type of purgatory or hell, but the idea that suicide would get him out of it somehow. Suicide itself was considered a specific reason people would go to purgatory after they died, you kill yourself you put your soul in purgatory, so why would that suddenly get Walker out of it? If Walker is suppose to realize and accept what he’s done then wouldn’t suicide be an explicit sign that he didn’t want to accept it or at the least couldn’t handle it?

The way Walker says "Goddamnit" in the last shootout, like a freaking psycho. Very nice detail by the developers at that point, he was really losing it.

@@CravenDrip You already know this. Walker literally says it in the intro. It's just pointed out to you at the end. You realize that you tried to be a hero, which was the wrong choice. You should've followed orders. Radioed in once you found the survivors, and went home. No. Instead, you marched on. And for what?
"How many Americans have you killed today?", "You are still a good person", "This is all your fault", "Killing for yourself is murder, killing for your government is heroic, killing for entertainment is harmless" This game really does make your rethink everything! Feels AWESOME to platinum it and finish it on FUBAR!
“The U.S. Military does not condone the killing of unarmed civilians. But none of this is real, so why should you care?” If that didn’t make you feel like a monster the first time you saw that, you might be a tiny bit psychotic
For me, this song has a lot of tragedy to it. It's the last stand, everyone's about to kill each other, and for what? Survival? Honor? Duty? Entertainment? Nobody can remember anymore. Everyone just wanted to help, and instead, they found the pathway to Hell.
This track perfectly captures the sad futility of Walker's descent into madness that forms the essence of Konrad's question, "But on you marched, and for what?"
To save lives? Revenge? Denial? No one can remember. Everyone's just trying to kill each other, and they don't even know why anymore. (I know it's a rhetorical question, but still.)
Walker forgot why he was even there in the first place from the very beginning "Thought we were rescuing people" Wrong. You were locating people, once the mission was completed you should´ve walked out of Dubai.
I think the best part about this whole game is Nolan North, as Walker's voice. You usually hear North in these kind of light hearted roles like the Prince from PoP 2008 or Nathan Drake. This was the first time we've seen him give voice to an actually ''evil'' character, and it's just amazing how he goes from the simple soldier to a raving lunatic throughout the story. How the ''Need some cover while I'm reloading'' changes to ''Fuck, I have to reload'', how the ''Tango down'' changes to ''Fuck you'' and ''Killed that son of a bitch''. Just from his voice alone the character progression is absolutely followable.
They also made him and everyone else record all of their voice lines in one day, and in order they appear in the game. By the end the characters all sound exhausted because the voice actors are.
This track perfectly subverts the “badass action rock music” trope you’ll find in other FPS shooters’ final levels or intense moments. Instead it’s somber, heavy, depressing and ominous. At this point in the game there’s nothing left worthy to fight for anymore, no clear goal in sight. It’s a pure, almost feral, fight for survival in a place that you wrought so much destruction on, that you helped raze to the ground (along with all the people in it). And now you’re fighting to save your own skin. So tell me…was it all worth it?
Its subtle, but you can hear this song several times in the background earlier in the game. Usually upon discovering the aftermath of of various travesties. Its only when you reach the bridge, when the full version plays, which nicely captures how fucked up everything is by this point.
+Majyxs You murdered a bunch of soldiers trying to defend a civilian refugee camp, in a vain attempt to take revenge on their commander for "forcing you" to massacre another one with white phosphorus, something that was your fault in the first place. So... do you feel cool yet?

0:00 - 1:13 "How are we gonna do this?" "Kill everything that fucking moves!" 1:13- 2:24 "You ready?" "Why not. No one lives forever." "Let's do this!" 2:25 - 2:55 "Don't let Delta reach that gate! Light them up! Now!" 2:56-4:06 "Welcome to Hell, Walker. We've been waiting for you." 4:06-5:15 "Another shot from that mortar and we are fucking dead!" 5:15 -7:15 "Walker! Beat this game on FUBAR difficulty today. Really wasn't that hard. On the subject of the video, if you really let yourself listen to this song it will make you feel like a madman. It almost feels like it's tapping into a sadistic, crazy side of my brain that I didn't even know was there. Such a great game
Since I played it(it was 11.2013), it still makes me question myself as a person.... I became obsessed. To this day I remember this... "I'm sorry, Walker... But you knew it'd end this way. Your friends dead. The world on fire. And you, alone. You're are a failure... Finally, something we have in common." I'm not the same person anymore... And I will never be again.

@@sirballin9016 I was wondering why people were saying the campaign was good. It's very pretty, I can admit that. And I do feel some sort of pressure while playing the mission where you need to check three spots to find Hadir. But the story can be so much more realistic. Hadir is the most relatable character. He has seen growth from his tragic childhood. Characters need to be flawed in order to highlight the choices that make them better than the antagonist of the stories. But the game lacks depth to the characters.

I replayed Spec Ops recently fully knowing that Walker is going to spiral out into insanity ignoring original orders and going rogue and even knowing all that after playing the game myself before I STILL didn't catch where it happened. Right at the start. You were supposed to turn back after storming the plane at the latest, radio back to command and be done with it, but you didn't. Walker didn't. Between a sense of urgency and a desperate need to "be the hero" we rush in and walker always keeps repeating "Don't stop" "keep moving" "we won't rest until it's done". This game masterfully depicts what it's like to actually be at war. It's frightening.
there are 2 ways to understand the story that answer all questions. 1:walker and the gang die in the intro but he's reliving everything until the second crash. after that it's walkers hell. 2: walker was knocked out after the intro and up until the second crash is a flashback with slight insanity. after the crash he just loses his mind.

to me it's clearly the second one; because the epilogue with Konrad it's real and heavily impliede that Walker was the only one that survived through there. the fact is that probably the entire helicopter sequence is another hallucination, to me, and Lugo and Adams died while reaching the radioman tower
i dont think im ok because i finished this game 52 times now on suicide mission and ive unlocked every single achievement and ive become level 40 two times online im just so obsessed with this game its just too perfect
It literally made me feel guilt....it fucked real with my mind...at the end i felt like why did i murder any individual?? Tf was i thinking while killing everyone?? Are heroes made by killing innocents??...My brain was not in the right state after completing the campaign and i instantly chose death for walker... :(...RIP WALKER MAN!! Who couldn't understand the real meaning of a hero Edit: but the game taught us that murdering people and making wrong choices with right intentions doesn't make you a hero..
When i played this game for the first time i have been 8-9 years old, and thanks to God that i didn’t understood the story because i would get PTSD so early…..Now i downloaded game again and played on FUBAR difficulty, man… What a story, what a development of characters and what a ending of this game. When i was little i would always choose to shoot Konrad in that mirror. But this time i realized that i can point a gun on myself… Insane. *Do you feel like a hero yet ?* *This is Captain Martin Walker, United States Army. Attempted evacuation of Dubai ended in complete failure. Survivors… One too many.* *HE TURNED US, INTO FUCKING KILLERS!*
The music itself tells the story of a well-trained naive soldier who believes at something good will happen after his work is done but war is hell, the next thing you know that said soldier is now a morally fucked-up psychopath who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
Not a psychopath. Psychopaths control their actions and have no feelings. Walker is in a deep psychotic delirium driven by the need to feel like a hero/good about himself, which is probably caused by deep feelings of self-hatred, and then fuelled by denial of what his need for redemption is driving him to do in his recklessness
Yeah, and this one is pretty much the best of all SO:TL's soundtrack. It just makes my brain shut down and I'm feeling like I want to shoot, I want to brake bones... this isn't just a game... it's an art.
Do you think this is an uplifting, mesmerising soundtrack, designed to see a valiant man's last push through to victory? Is this a melody that tugs at the heartstrings, that rallies the love and compassion for everything that we fight for? Does this sound like the song of a hero?
***** No, it sounds... like dementia. Like a last brutal cry of sanity within a man. Within Walker. Within us - everyone who played through Spec Ops: The Line. None of us wanted what to happened. We.. At that point we didn't want to have anything in common with what we've became... Yet, we were still pushing forward. For what exactly, I think none of us can say for sure, but it doesn't really matter... We did it and we completed the "art"... Whenever I hear this, I stop being myself... I'm just... It's hard to explain. I just want to be "in-motion" again. I want to be back there - killing everyone in rage. As much as I know I shouldn't, but I still do want it... And it disgusts me. This game... It's not just a game.
Interesting, that you use the word "rage" when describing the gatehouse. I... well, I felt nothing, I was just killing because, for the past eight hours, that's all I had ever done. I'd just killed and killed and killed, and for what? For nothing. In the words of Adams, "Why not? No-one lives forever." And you're damn right about your last comment. No matter whether people "enjoyed" The Line or not, they thought it was good or bad, I have heard almost universal praise in saying that this game is *important*.
***** I didn't use word "rage" as something that specific... I just meant the state of my mind whenever I hear this. I just don't think when I hear it. I just want to shoot those poor, fictional soldiers to death. Even when they die I still want to shoot them. I think it came from the last fighting chapter. "The Bridge". This music plays. When I play on FUBAR and die multiple times in a row - I get infuriated. But on this level something weird happens... this song plays... and I just keep respawning and don't care if I die... I'll have chance to shoot and beat them all to death. And - for sure - this game is almost awfully underrated. Practically no one knows of this... game if may I call it. P.S.: Thank you for making a good discussion with me, kind sir.
I shot myself at the end because I couldn't deal with what the game was trying to teach me. I've never cried because of a video game before this, and I haven't since, but Jesus Christ... war is hell, and we make a game out of it. In my opinion, this was the most powerful video game in terms of story ever created. Nothing else is even close to this real. But maybe that's for the best.
darkfireslide I felt so horrible at the end, personally, I chose not to shoot myself. Instead, I started shooting at the air when the rescue team arrived they would shoot me dead. In my mind, I had become the villain, so I should have a death more fitting of one, by the hands of ones more virtuous than me. I also thought of it as a way for some retribution to be paid for the lives of the soldiers I had killed.
+laura A watching the movie "Apocalypse Now" puts this game into a better context. The thing is, delving into the game's lore, is that Dubai was already a war zone when you arrived. Everything that happened in the game isn't your fault, but it's undeniable that Walker was the spark that set the entire city ablaze. Yet it's also Konrad's fault for trying to do the same thing, only with a whole division at his back- yet he was no more successful than Walker was. The point of Spec Ops, of Apocalypse Now, and even Heart of Darkness, isn't just to portray the protagonist as a problem; rather, the point is that in war, no one is a winner, and there is no salvation for those condemned to situations that have gone this horribly wrong. That's the real takeaway. All we can do is show respect for those who have had to go through something like this and had the misfortune to survive.
This is the most desperate and depressing soundtrack I've ever heard in the final push of any game I've played. I'm shocked I didn't realize that was the point the first time I played.
Stronger than you ever were... Whatever you say, Walker. Whatever happens next, don’t be too hard on yourself. Even after all you’ve done you can still go home. Lucky you.
You know, in the beta version of the game, there were options to have Walker obey orders to leave Dubai at the start or even fight without using the white phosphorus, but too many beta testers took those options. It's sad. I never played the game, but I watched a person play it on UA-cam. There was no commentary or facecam, so it was really just me and the characters in that world. I hated the game for all the disgusting imagry and the situations the group was placed in, but realized it was my choice solely to watch the video. Even if you're not the player, you still are at fault, just knowing if you pick up the game, you could be the player at anytime. You could be the reason they're suffering. It's deep shit, man.
The music in this game is outstanding. Especially imo Bjork - Storm. I have a genuine fear of playing this game again because the loading screens taunt YOU, not Walker. I don't like that. It scares me down to the core. "You are still a good person." "Cognitive Dissonance is an uncomfortable feeling caused by holding two conflicting ideas simultaneously." "This is all your fault."
This game was to help non military people better understand the phases of severe post traumatic stress disorder and how it can effect even the best of soldiers but all comments beside the troll ones are accurate and true. I believed he came into dubai because he was tired of standing around and when he got in there he lost his mind eventually and allow himself to lose it all and just go apeshit hence some more severe ptsd outbreaks
You're completely wrong. The point of the game was showing you how the protagonist was a horrible, selfish person. He went on the mission so he could feel like an action hero saving the day, even though it wasn't the time and place for that. In the end he's ruined and ended lives that could have just been left alone, while having helped nobody, all out of an insecure need to reaffirm his masculinity. It's all to show how meaningless conflicts like the US interventions in the middle east are, and how ignorant the soldiers in the US army is. They're not going there to help anyone but themselves, so they can feel like "men" and "heroes". In reality they'll become homeless, mentally ill and cause destruction to the lives of innocent people.
@@Kushufy Uh, Delta Force was sent there to investigate what happened to Konrad and the 33rd. The point of the game is how Walker kept pushing forward because he personally believed that someone had to be saved or brought to justice, but all he managed to accomplish is, well, slaughter and destruction. Please try keeping your personal views of the real world out of it.
@@gua5432 You're the one who is biased because of personal views. The "point of the game" couldn't be any more obvious, it's shoved in your face numerous times. The game has a very clear anti-war message with how it makes fun of other FPS games, showing the consequences of war and portrays american soldiers as selfish idiots who don't really care about the political ramifications of their actions, they just want to feel like "heroes" by shooting brown people in countries that has been exploited by the western civilization for hundreds of years. If you think it's as shallow as "the main character had good intentions but screwed up" you're delusional and trivializing the work of the writers.
@@Kushufy Would you have said the same if the main protagonists were from SAS or KSK? You're pushing your own view of the US military onto the game. If all you got out of it is that you're playing as a trigger-happy racist yankee, then I feel sorry for you. Also, just FYI - some of the intel you find strongly implies that the Saudi government purposefully didn't proceed with the evacuation as fast as possible, and that they even ordered the murder of a foreign aid worker. But hey, USA bad, amirite?
@@darkmoon8960 although they are heavily connected the plot can be quite different, so I am sure a great movie can be made. Besides there are not many movies for this narrative. There are some similarities with The Machinist in terms of guilt. :)
I know this is a 1y old comment but... Spec Ops: The Line must be experienced in a video game and not in any other media format. We literally killed all these soldiers, we killed all those innocent civilians, we literally did all of that. Thats what makes the game really impactful because we, the player did all of these fucked up things.
I love this song, it fits the game so perfectly. Steady pace to match the action, but also has a tired, hopeless undertone to match the narrative. But merge to create exactly what you're seeing and feeling.
For such a game this soundtrack is weirdly... relaxing. As if its adrenaline, keeping your mind away from horrors you're committing, only letting the bare minimum slip through. Just for you to see what you've done as soon as it wears off. Its beautyful, the whole game is. Its haunting, never letting you feel truly heroic, "Opening your eyes for the first time"...
As EatitHarvey said, Apocalypse Now is already a movie adaptation of the "Heart of Darkness" novel, so it has similar tones and themes. If you wanted a direct adaptation, I don't think it would be good. There's some things that the game does that simply wouldn't work on a movie.
The game puts you in the story . even if u want or not, and at the part "Shoot yourself or shoot Konrad" its the part where you can break the bond between you and the game. "It takes a strong man to deny what's in front of it"
I wish people would make more games like this. Games where the player feels like you have bond between you and the game and then at the final level, the bond breaks and the player has to make the choice.
I think it was actually Sheltron 1 to tower. By the way, funny how that statement is made by a Zulu squad member, the equals to the Exiles or even elites of the 33rd. Says a lot at that point where even elite tactical soldiers with nerves of steel are desperate for help against Walker.
@@souloftherisingsun8274 Walker and his squad were Delta Force, and I believe they're better trained than Zulu squad and the elite soldiers of The Damned 33rd.
Dead Space is scary, that's true. But this game is psychologically so depressing and disturbing that I can't even explain. I'll keep playing it until I die. This game is a true masterpiece.
In this music it shows the madness and insanity walker is going through it shows how psychotic and brutal he is and how he is willing to do anything to complete his mission even if it means getting friends killed in the process.
Another year, another absolute morbid song that I love coming back to. To whoever uploaded this in the first place, thank you! Spec Ops: The Line for life 😎
Went back through and played this in the highest difficulty and I found myself right there with Walker being pissed off and angry. Still, felt good to do it and shelve the game finally.
It was unearthly, and the men were-No, they were not inhuman. Well, you know, that was the worst of it-the suspicion of their not being inhuman. It would come slowly to one, what thrilled you was just the thought of their humanity-like yours-the thought of your remote kinship with this wild and passionate uproar. I remember these words scarring my soul like a hot poker when I first read them. Somethings, even if there just words stick with you forever.
I gave the soldiers the gun at the end, the ultimate hell for walker. He has to live with what he has done and it will eat away at him till the he dies
Ah, the memories... Near to the end, when Lugo was already dead and they were just Adams and you. This was played during a massacre from your side, allowing you to understand that you were the bad characters since the beginning.
Such a shame soundtrack never got an official release. Even composer regrets that, saw his comments myself on some forum. And this music. Cool, but I can't listen to it. Not after I completed the game. "The Battle" is just so painful to hear. It perfectly encaptures that last stand Walker and Adams did. The last battle to the death, and there's nothing to fear, nothing to lose, and nothing humane to hold on to no more.
That this song is so melancholy and played up against one completely brutal segment of gruesom, relentless battle really hammers that point home. Only game I ever played in one single almost continuous playthrough. At this point I was tired, and pissed off, and almost as angry as Walker even though I could see how it was fucking with my mind. Cognitive dissonance was invented for this game.
Here after Game Maker's Toolkit video. This was the first thing I thought after seeing it. traumatism, madness, regrets. I'm part of those fools who didn't saw the white phosphorous trick and went closer and closer into Walker psyche. This wife with his empty orbit and her screaming daughter shocked me.
This game is not even about gameplay primarily. Its a journey in to the psychology of the tormented mind of a man slowly being eroded, torn away and broken down. The combat is purposely made intense only to amplify that experience. Its a very different and unique game on its own.
That's the point. The 33rd, the refugees, the CIA, Konrad, Walker, all of them meant well, but each and every one of them found their own version of hell there. Every single person you killed over the course of the game was a good person, and that is what is tragic and disturbing about this game. By the end, there is no good or bad left, just non-stop insanity until the last man falls.
The soundtrack to this isn’t explosive or attention grabbing like other games try to have. But it sticks with you because it fits too well into the story of the game
That's where controvery starts. He just wanted to complete his mission, but as stuff got crazier, and he was losing the only people he had, he was seeking revengence. All the emotions built up in his head...

+Hitler Dolfy its probably all of the game was in one day. THINK about it.
+Wafflepudding There's also a night loading screen around Chapter 6, so maybe it was 3 days?
-It takes a strong man to deny what's right in front of him.
-Stronger than you were.
-Whatever you say, Walker.
Ahmed Ghulam I did that because Walker needs to live with his mistake (repeating Konrad's mistake) and perhaps one day he might find the power to accept it and forgive himself for forcing his men to follow a mirage with him and killing the main protagonist in the end of any game has always been pointless.
No matter what happens next, don't be too hard on yourself. Even now, after all you've done you can still go home. Lucky you.
You know, in the beta version of the game, there were options to have Walker obey orders to leave Dubai at the start or even fight without using the white phosphorus, but too many beta testers took those options. So the developers had to take those choices out because it ruined the stupid narrative.

The way Walker says "Goddamnit" in the last shootout, like a freaking psycho. Very nice detail by the developers at that point, he was really losing it.

His kill em all attitude by the end upped all the intensity to ridiculous levels, what a great fucking game.

@@CravenDrip You already know this. Walker literally says it in the intro. It's just pointed out to you at the end. You realize that you tried to be a hero, which was the wrong choice. For me, this song has a lot of tragedy to it. It's the last stand, everyone's about to kill each other, and for what? Survival? Honor? Duty? Entertainment?
Nobody can remember anymore. Everyone just wanted to help, and instead, they found the pathway to Hell.
"The Gate," if you will.
This game is the quote "The road to hell is paved with good intentions".
"Can you even remember why you came here."
Walker forgot why he was even there in the first place from the very beginning
"Thought we were rescuing people"
Wrong. You were locating people, once the mission was completed you should´ve walked out of Dubai.

Spoiler alert:
Not even that
that's true
Gentlemen, welcome to Dubai.
They also made him and everyone else record all of their voice lines in one day, and in order they appear in the game. By the end the characters all sound exhausted because the voice actors are.
@@watchfulstormThat’s cool. Sucky for the VA’s, but effective.
@@captainuseless2120 It was Nolan's favorite role. He loved how it turned out.
Aaron Cook by that point, everything is beyond fixing because it's RAPING TIME for the 33rd.

You know, in the beta version of the game, there were options to have Walker obey orders to leave Dubai at the start or even fight without using the white phosphorus, but too many beta testers took those options. So the developers had to take those choices out because it ruined the stupid narrative.
A soundtrack that truly does need more recognition, would blast it on Spotify if it'll get to that platform.
I would say the first one fits better to the story

to me it's clearly the second one; because the epilogue with Konrad it's real and heavily impliede that Walker was the only one that survived through there. the fact is that probably the entire helicopter sequence is another hallucination, to me, and Lugo and Adams died while reaching the radioman tower

Kris Norge So he's compensating for his small penis?
+Ihaz Noame You cant live forever
Great description.
I'm the only one who have a "braingasm" with pretty much every music Spec Ops: The Line related ?
No-one lives forever."
And you're damn right about your last comment.
I had to stop the madness somehow. I really was oblivious to what I was doing until the very end. But I respect the way you dealt with it as well.
+darkfireslide Im all on your side, i love how you said this :)
+darkfireslide Great work

@@Kushufy nonetheless, that's still unbelievably sad.
@@Kushufy Uh, Delta Force was sent there to investigate what happened to Konrad and the 33rd. If you think it's as shallow as "the main character had good intentions but screwed up" you're delusional and trivializing the work of the writers.

they should make a movie based on this game
The game is based on a book which does have a movie
They did, Its called Apocalypse Now
I thought it was based on a novel "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad
As EatitHarvey said, Apocalypse Now is already a movie adaptation of the "Heart of Darkness" novel, so it has similar tones and themes.
If you wanted a direct adaptation, I don't think it would be good. There's some things that the game does that simply wouldn't work on a movie.
GodWith Specs wouldn't work, the narrative in spec ops only fits in a game

SoulOfTheRisingSun what part was this?
@@souloftherisingsun8274 Walker and his squad were Delta Force, and I believe they're better trained than Zulu squad and the elite soldiers of The Damned 33rd.
@@captainmartinwalker2848 beginning of Chapter 14.
this game is more horrifying than any dead space game
Dead Space is scary, that's true. But this game is psychologically so depressing and disturbing that I can't even explain. I'll keep playing it until I die. This game is a true masterpiece.
@big smoke You picked the wrong comment, fool!
That game has epic storyline!
"Kill is fucking confirmed."
"Fuck you."
"Got the motherfucker!"
"Heavy is fucking down!"
"He's *dead.*"
God, this game didn't pull any punches.
The when this played mostly during the end of the game the only thing I got from the song was the overwhelming feeling a dread.
best narrative in a 360 game? best best narrative in a 360 game.
this track gives me some serious feels
Best narrative in any game of the last generation and arguably this generation as well
Hits you right in the gut.
wyldeman7 best game ever
Alan Wake is better imo
@thewreckofisgard6380 nah
THIS IS YOUR FAULT GODDAMMIT !!
Stop right there lugo
He wouldn't listen!
We didn't have a choice!
He turned us into FUCKING KILLERS!
"That's enough, Sergeant! CONTROL YOURSELF!!!"
I like how the bass was the lead instrument here, you don't see that to often.
In this music it shows the madness and insanity walker is going through it shows how psychotic and brutal he is and how he is willing to do anything to complete his mission even if it means getting friends killed in the process.
Si
Yet he can't even remember the true purpose of his mission at that point of the story.
¿Ya te sientes cómo un héroe?
Another year, another absolute morbid song that I love coming back to. To whoever uploaded this in the first place, thank you! Spec Ops: The Line for life 😎
Chicken apple butter pie
We complete* our mission
Went back through and played this in the highest difficulty and I found myself right there with Walker being pissed off and angry. Still, felt good to do it and shelve the game finally.
It was unearthly, and the men were-No, they were not inhuman. Well, you know, that was the worst of it-the suspicion of their not being inhuman. It would come slowly to one, what thrilled you was just the thought of their humanity-like yours-the thought of your remote kinship with this wild and passionate uproar.
I remember these words scarring my soul like a hot poker when I first read them. Somethings, even if there just words stick with you forever.
Was that Heart of Darkness?
+sm3xiiis0p3s You
I gave the soldiers the gun at the end, the ultimate hell for walker.
Man, you just fucking nailed my feeling about this song!
just recently beat the game a second time, still one of my all time favorite games.
Welcome to hell Walker we'been waiting for you
-John Konrad
This music deteriorates me puts me at an edge to no beginning OR end. The choice you choose will affect you for eternity.
That's where controvery starts. He just wanted to complete his mission, but as stuff got crazier, and he was losing the only people he had, he was seeking revengence. All the emotions built up in his head...
Imagine playing this game in first person
You can go to army
@@bogdanbublikov9780 nailed it
Then we could never see this awesome character captain Martin walker.
What is the big deal? I mean I don’t see much difference between fps and tps in terms of the sensation I get from video games. After all the character is played by you in both options.
@@ay7828
It's because in FPS you are quite literally on the main character pov, you see the world with his eyes, which can make people feel more immersed
Spec Ops the line changed me for ever.
memories man, all the memories I played with this game
