I had one growing up and didnt realize how good it was thinking that everybody was upstaging me with new bach or yamaha trumpets... all I knew was I liked the sound and people always said I had nice tone! I was last chair but enjoyed the rich harmony parts

ACB, thanks for the horn demo. Just mentioning, you have the audio adjusted well for the horn, but it is quite low for Jon speaking. (Not a complaint, just feedback for you ACB).

I am a beginner learning to play a 1960s OLDS cornet. OLDS cornet sounds seem more trombone-like sound. Still having difficulty with correct embouchure. I get tired after a little practice and then air sound comes out. Lots of physical on lips, teeth, etc. Does this seem correct? and normal? Thanks, Mr. Angelo
