Please like and Subscribe 👍🏻 Thanks 😊
i don’t breed fish, one day a video like this appeared in my fyp and now i’m addicted
Hehe thanks 😊
Omg there so cute I wanna squish and hug them so bad but not in a hurtful way
Haha I want to do that too 🤪
Hahahahahaha😹😹😹
I don't know, poor things look sick to me. Think how horrifying it would be if this was done to humans.
@@j.martinez8767 I’m with you!
Haha
Nice detailed time lapse video about your Ranchu. Thank you for promoting goldfish breeding techniques in our community! 🔔
Thanks 😊 haha
Greatly done and some still dislike it.. Come on pips.. Nice job sir!
Thank you 😊 I appreciate it 👍🏻
How exactly do you selectively separate all those fish when they are so tiny?
Yeah
I think just just wait for then to grow a bit bigger, making it easier to separate as they can tell their differences better.
Really awesome video! Just subscribed. Definitely upload more and keep us updated on these fry! Cheers from Australia.
Thanks! I will post a video of their development soon 👍🏻
Very nicely done! I'll look forward to seeing an update on them in a few months!!
Thanks 😊 yup will make a update video in a few months
Loved the video! The first video on my channel is the development of my oranda/black moor hybrid fry up to one year old! I would love to breed some ranchu one day. Can't wait to see more updates. I subbed!
Peter's Koi and Goldfish Thanks for subscribing! Me too I’m planning to breed oranda and Ranchu again next year! I will post an update again soon
@@ranchukoisd3334 Nice! You are more than welcome to my channel!
How can you tell which fish have deformities when they’re so small?
I start looking at their tail and body
Ranchu Koi SD what do you do to the deformed golfish
@@goofusdoobus2179 Cull them out of other perfectly formed fish of course. If you have fries in your tank, deformities are common in bunches where they are placed in wide surfaced water columns separately. This is a fast way to differentiate between bad fries and ideal ones.
For ranchus, fries from day 1-10 can be deformed when the followings are explained. Bent spines, single tail, dorsal fin spike, asymmetric body/tail/finnage, and missing body types. From day 10-39, you see more specific problems as you go on, like bumpy back, unarched back, crooked tail angle, and fused double tail.
Day 39 to 60 you can see most goldfish developed more perfect appearance because you separate the culls that are already been separated to induce attention towards fish of perfect form. This is easy at the beginning but overtime it will take lengthy number of time, and even if you research or study by experience, oftenly the best for this is serious professionalism as you act carefully.
@@zezekingyo2374 oh thx for informing me:D
@@goofusdoobus2179 cull a nicer way to say kill. When we produce something in surplus, we kill, reason why I could never go in to breeding and actually don't like this at all. It is fascinating to watch, but just not for everyone.
It is indeed a nice content !!!! I love it !!!
Thank you 🙏🏻😊
awesome video capturing their growth and your techniques, well done and thank you!

and what is your recommend food if fbw is not available?
Very nice quality indeed
Thank you 😊
at the inital week of birth, how much BBS do you feed per time? and how much water do u change on a daily basis?
i once had thousands of baby fry.. but i dont know what i did wrong, they didnt survive.. a few tips would be great.
I feed them BBS 3-4 times a day and change the water 30% a day. Make sure the water in your tank and the new water that your adding has the same temperature
The parents are cute, but i feel bad that they can barely see anything because of their wen
Wen can be trimmed thoo
@@DanishKhan-yz6np truueee
But its a hard procedure
@@andifishgallery9400 I bet you can get a vet to do it
@@brandykellar2317 yeah I’ve heard of it

they're so beautiful
Founder Fish why do I see you everywhere
What you do with the cull
Can you tell me how to know if it’s a cull or a keeper and if u don’t have bbs what do u feed them with btw nice video keep it up
First When the fry are around 2-3 weeks I look for any tail and body deformities and If I don’t have any BBS I feed them gel food or crushed pellets or steamed egg yolk but BBS is a must
Nice man
Thank you 😊
What do you mean by “deformities”? Were they missing a fin??
Very cute ranchu
Thank you 😊
AYO THAT OVER TOO GROWN
wow nice fish bro
Thanks 👍
RIP for those 4 that didn't get into the new tank😥
I gave all the culls to my friends and they’re doing fine. Thanks tho
@@ranchukoisd3334 he means these fries at 3:11
@@sivvu_siv yeah I saw that and put them back in the tank 👍🏻
Phew I was worried
Dont you mean rip to the hundreds that he killed???
Mantab
Heater is compulsory for fry or not
i feed repashy gel, but they seem to have issue eating it, coz the gel seem to be very tough for them to bite. how u manage ur gel water/powder ratio?
Kian Seng I’m doing 3:1 ratio
What does cull mean?
süperr
☺️🙏🏻
What is that green food?
What do you do for keeping the water clean and changing the water, especially when they are too young? Please do reply!
I change the water every 3 days
@@ranchukoisd3334 Alright. Thank you.
What happens to the culls?
👍❤️❤️❤️❤️👌
What's cull?
What do you do with the ones that are culled? They just die or something?
He most likey kills them himself or feeds them to something, edit: I read somewhere else that he gave them to a friend, at least a few might survive.
Yes they die
@@aeroga2383 He gives them to friends
How do you trim the wei around the eyes again? If I ever get a goldfish I'll wanna make sure they can see as they grow
There's a video on that, you can look it up on UA-cam.
What did you do with the cull fry? Give it away or ?
Where are you from?
Excellent job you doing there.
Raymond Tay Thanks, some of them I gave it to my friends

What do you do with the culls? Feed them off to other fish?
Usually they euthanize them I think
Hi can you tell me who you ordered these guys from..thanks for answering...
I think he bred the babies and probably the parents as well but my best guess is from his local pet store
your Chanel is nice make some more videos
Thanks 😊 yup I’m planning to make another video
Omg this is wholesome ❤️

ua-cam.com/video/LxVv2q8zKBE/v-deo.html
What will happen to the culls?
Which food you give in the video what is the food name you give the baby in the please tell me food name
Rip down syndrome fish from mass inhumane breeding.
I'm not even a crazy animal activist, but its just sad that humans usually have to trim the wen most of the time and these guys can't survive outside of the living room tank
Yup, just like pugs and bulldogs, very sad.
They can actually thrive in natural ponds as well.....
@@mell9568 they still need wens trimmed tho
Trimming wen is very important tho if not trimmed it can cause extra weight so it will have trouble swimming so the much harder to get food this is natural ur needs to be done even when it's painful seeing goldfish getting trimmed
My 2 year old ranchus doesn't grow round like that though they are getting bigger but not rounder maybe because mine are rejected ones so the breeder knows they will not grow normally?
How much do you feed them?
Sometimes it’s depends on it’s genes
did i miss it? when exactly did the eggs get fertilized? thanks
This was the question I came here to ask. My second question was going to be "what do you do with the cull babies?"
👍🏻
Hi what does the temperature need to be on on the Heater??
Hello, I set mine around 76-78 f
What did you do in cull fish?u use it a feeder?
Nope, gave it to my friends
It's so amazing 😍
Kcryzlr Velasco thanks
Wait wait wait. How did you know they had deformities that tiny???? Did you have to like capture each one and look at it?! Holy moly!
Yup that’s correct 👍🏻
@@ranchukoisd3334 daaaaang!!! That's some dedication!
Can u tell me how u take out the poops of that small fishs
I use a airline tube to syphon the poop 👍🏻
don't you need male ranchu?
Wait.. can you explain the mating process betwen the parent sir? Before hand spreading egg's process. I'll highly appreciate it
Yea, i would appreciate that scene after hand spreading the eggs. Please show us in detail
How do u clean water of fry specially the dirt at bottom....?
Same question
With siphon 😊😊
What is that green past like food
It’s a gel food for pet fish. You can watch it here
ua-cam.com/video/LxVv2q8zKBE/v-deo.html
I love lion head
Khmer Golden fish Me too!! I love goldfish with big Wens
you need to create this video too. love koi 😁😁😁
How do you know if they’re deformed?
yeah, surely he/she doesn’t check them out one by one for deformities... right? XD
Also, how do you clean the water without accidentially picking up babies?
I'm curious about this too. How can you see the deformity at this early stage of the fish?
Awww, what happens to the cull? The ones with deformities? Are they killed?
No idea either
Gave it away
could you share that what should do for increase the size of ranchu head?
I think good water quality and high protein food
