Update: I’m now at 300 miles with these shoes, and they feel as good or better than before. The durability take is proving accurate, and I genuinely love reaching for them on easy runs. That said, they are still slow shoes imo
The Triumph 22 has gotten a lot of meh from UA-cam reviewers. Most find it not as versatile as the 20 and 21 versions, particularly in ability to pick up the pace. Your review is one of the best, because you're an elite runner, you put 100 miles into it, and worked it hard through the paces. I also think that your scoring system is among the best, as you weight most what really matters, which is centered on the midsole.
The fact that you didnt just hate the shoe because all of the other reviewers did is refreshing. People tend to forget that different shoes work for different body types and a supremely biased review could stop someone from finding their fit. Time to binge watch some of your reviews.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the Ride 17 in comparison to this. Saucony seems to have really segmented the Triumph from being the do-it-all shoe it was in the Triumph 20/21 and made it the cushioned workhorse you mentioned. Ride 17 seems to take its place as the versatile trainer.
Hi! I'm a new in running (5/10km) (3-5days a week) I'm planning to buy a new running shoes, here's the list of my choices hope can you help me to decide 1. Nova blast 4 2. New Balance Rebel V4 3. Nike Pegasus 41
They aren’t speed shoes . They are easy day shoes or more importantly great shoes for people that just enjoy fun miles and aren’t trying to set a new pr as soon as they put them on. They aren’t heavy but then again I used to wear combat boots for a living .. lol
I am a heavy lifter (100 kg). Didnt like gel nimbus 25 since it was recommended for heavier guys and sold it. Bought this one. Doing majority of my runs in Superblast. This will be my easy day + walking shoe. Do you think this could be used daily for walking (outside, gym etc.)?
I own a pair of saucony truimph 22 and a pair os asics superblast 2. Im very happy with the 22, but the superblast 2 is something else. That one got some pop into it. That is the one you are looking for.
I have at least 2000 miles in the endorphin shift 2 and those things feel like you're swinging a baseball bat with a donut on it. Very clunky. Once you go Novablast you never go back as far as daily trainers go lol

I appreciate your comment! I honestly don’t even watch other reviews on a shoe before I review it
Please do more of these review videos!
I'll keep them coming with the new shoes I try!
Highly recommend trying last years Triumph 21 or Ride 17 as they’re pretty much the same shoe and a lot better than the new 22 imo
I loved my Triumph 21s they have good afterlife too

Love your shoe reviews

Agreed. I actually reach for them more than I thought I would. Really Great for easy miles

I'm 100kg too and love nimbus 26, weird
I need to replace my triumph 21 for long runs I run long runs at 5:30/km do you suggest triumph 22 or triumph 21 or ASICS novablast 4
I will always suggest the Novablast. It’s an all around great trainer that’s pretty versatile as well!
I own a pair of saucony truimph 22 and a pair os asics superblast 2. Im very happy with the 22, but the superblast 2 is something else. That one got some pop into it. That is the one you are looking for.
Since the aesthetics don’t matter, why do you include them in your score of the shoe?
Touché. I guess I care just a little bit ;) but not enough for it to really affect the score
where'd you get your hairtransplant done?

2000 miles on one pair of shoes is wild. And you're right about the Novablasts, I've gone through 6 pair now haha
Reminds me of the Puma Magnify Nitro 2. Way too heavy.
good stuff
Saucony ruined the speed 3 and the Triumph 20 someone needs to talk to them 😂
Haven’t had any complaints with my speed 3s. To each their own tho. Everyone has different feet lol .
These shoes are way too plush .. I feel like I'm running in cheap foam..... It's awful ... Triumph 21 is far superior ...
First which means free Strava follow
Done
Sounds like the complete opposite of the Triumph 21 👎🏼
And????
