I just saw both in store yesterday. On the first sight, I thought Cruz was the better choice because how accessible the under storage is and how many accessories I can purchase. But when I started folding/unfolding them, I loved the Triv much better, not only it has a handle so I can lift it up with one hand, it is also smaller and much lighter which is a big win for me. On each trip, you 100% load/unload the stroller but you not necessary reach to the under compartment every time. The second thing and probably the thing that made the verdict was that the seat in Triv is wider which I can see it be useful ifI want to put extra blanket around my baby during winter, it wont squish the baby on the sides. Also, when the seat is in reclined position, the uppababy makes the baby legs position in 90 degree position while with the Triv, baby's leg is more flat.
Cruz V2 Pro : love canopy, bigger basket, mosquito net. Con: it’s heavier. Nuna Triv Pro: it’s lighter, easy compact. Con: small basket, no mosquito net, it’s more pricey compare to Cruz V2. I will probably trade my Cruz V2 for the Nuna Triv. Thanks for the video 😀
Thank you! Can I get a recommendation for these preferences?: -Small enough for car lifestyle, and we have a smaller house. -Terrain 3 preferred for forest trails, although I’d need Terrain 2 for every day use. -Self Standing -Don’t care too much about under carriage basket size -Reversible seat is a plus, but possibly not a deal breaker if I can add a carseat in reverse. -Price doesn’t matter
I live in Los Angeles and looking at these two strollers for popping in and out of my car running errands, shopping, and hitting the neighborhood park for a picnic. I’m absolutely torn between the two. Would you say that the Triv is a better choice for a heavy car use in a city or a more solid Cruz with a big tire slightly heavier. May I also mention that the Cruz at 25lbs gives a true weight including all attachments for suggested use but the Triv gives a 20lb weight but excludes the canopy, the bar, and the liner. I would assume that there may only be a 2.5 lb weight difference when used as suggested. Thank you!
@@josie9172 I got the cruz 2. Love it. Only thing is I got the all black one and although it looked sleek out of the box looks very scratched and banged up now I’d go with a light color for the exposed metal parts
I just got the cruz v2 2 weeks ago and now I see this. Seems like the Triv is better for us in terms of size, fold and weight. Unfortunately, I don't think I can return the cruz. It's a nice stroller, but I love how the Triv folds so much smaller so it's easier to throw in the car. And that full recline is something I really wanted that the Cruz doesn't have. Thanks for the video Magic Beans!
Can you make a comparison video between the Bugaboo bee 6 vs. the Nuna Triv? I would really appreciate to see them side to side. Thank you for all your efforts Magic Beans! Love to watch all your videos.
With the back wheels being the same size, would it be sturdy for all terrains? I heard bigger back wheels are great for beach and rocky roads?. That's my only concern with Triv.
I wish someone could answer this, I’m also curious to know because having the bassinet for the Nuna Triv would make me buy it no doubt. Thank you so much
@MagicBeansVideos UPPAbaby Cruz V2's handlebar makes a clicking noise no matter what setting it is on and never securely locks into position. So it rattles a little when you pull on it. Is it a general problem or only the one I have this problem? Thanks.
Does the Triv seat sit at table height? What strollers sit at table height? Do any UppaBaby seats have an all weather seat that transforms into a mesh seat?
Massive oversight by Nuna to not atleast make this compatible with a general buggy board e.g. Lascal as I really want the Nuna Triv but can't get it because I need a buggy board 😪
So, the triv can be used from birth? And, do you suggest a infant insert that will go well with the triv? Just for extra support and protection for baby.
It should be used roughly from 3 months onward, but with an insert you should be able to use it from birth. I generally suggest the Uppababy Snugseat, which is a great universal option.
Did they discontinue the triv? I have it and hate it. Wish I went with the Cruz. I feel like it is so wobbly and feels like it’s going to break and fall over.
Hi Jasmine! That is the Sierra color which has been discontinued. You can check out all the current colors here : www.mbeans.com/products/uppababy-cruz-v2-stroller-new-2021
I have a question; I just purchase the Uppababy Cruz; I’ve been reading bad reviews about the brake malfunction.... I did so much reviews after I decided to buy the UppaBaby an now this comes out.... Is this true? An has it been addressed?
Hi Erica! We’ve sold hundreds of Cruzes and I personally have never heard of a brake malfunction. Also, the V2 is completely new so I imagine any issues would have been addressed in the update. Eli
Would be very interested in a video comparing Cruz v2 versus Nuna Mixx Next 2020
Thank you!

I love it, and super easy to assemble, just put the wheels on it. 100% recommended

Could you do a review Vista V2 vs Bugaboo fox2??

Does the cruz v2 work with the nuna arra infant car seat?
Which seat is longer in dimensions between the two?
With the back wheels being the same size, would it be sturdy for all terrains? I heard bigger back wheels are great for beach and rocky roads?. That's my only concern with Triv.
Hey Eli! Any plans for the Triv bassinet/carrycot to come to the US? I know it's already available in the UK
I wish someone could answer this, I’m also curious to know because having the bassinet for the Nuna Triv would make me buy it no doubt.
Thank you so much
Hi,So can you put Nuna Triv into airplane upper carry on shelving or they have to take it away for you when you boarding? Thanks.

If you have concerns that your stroller is defective you should reach out directly to UPPAbaby

Any ride along boards that are compatible for the Nuna Triv??
Unfortunately not yet.
Almost bought the Triv but now will get the Cruz since i have a toddler

Hi can u do q video between the cruz and the fox2 please
I have a nuna pipa carseat & am unsure of what stroller to get. Is there an adapter on the stroller for the carseat?
maremoua I have nuna pipa car seat and the Triv stroller comes with car seat adapter and a rain cover.
Does Triv have compatible child’s tray or cup holder accessories? Thanks!
No, Nuna does not have many accessories at all. Uppa baby does
Wpuld u recommend the bee 5 or the nuna triv, i need a car pram. Thank you so much
I’d go with the Triv if I were you.

Hi Erika! The Triv has recently been upgraded to the Triv Next : ua-cam.com/video/P1maoTxBBgE/v-deo.html
Please include height limits. My kids are very tall for their age.
If I wanted to buy an infant insert to put in the triv can I ? I know you said it isn’t needed, but can I ?
You can!
@@MagicBeansVideos which insert ?
What is the fabric name for the Uppababy Cruz?
Hi Jasmine! That is the Sierra color which has been discontinued. You can check out all the current colors here : www.mbeans.com/products/uppababy-cruz-v2-stroller-new-2021
Oh no. Thanks for the update!
The Bugaboo Turtle is compatible with the adaptor of Triv
no the turtle is only compatible with the bugaboo fox, lynx and the ant
