I was a DAT in HHC 3/77 from mid 89 until late 91. I lived in the BN headquarters building which looks to be torn down. Spent a many of mornings doing PT in the HHC quad that looks like is still there. I have some pics of getting promoted in that quad, then getting doused with water in a little hazing fun! Y’all walked by where the Top Hat NCO club used to be, I met my wife of over 30 years there. It to looks to be gone unfortunately… Thanks for posting this video, even though things there have changed, it still brought back some good memories…
Interesting. I was there 199-1992 8th ID 3/77. Communication platoon. Hard to tell/remember but i think the only barracks building remaining was the one I lived in. I'd like to go back someday.. looks like not much remains. Thank you.
I'm halfway through, you're walking past the chapel, to the right you mentioned battalion headquarters. In my time there, 73-75, it was 3/68 and 5/68. I was in 3/68. The place is unrecognizable.
