Hey remember when I asked if we'd see a follow-up to Nahum's story after RE:Idealize? Well do I have a story for you today.
This story starts out in one of the resistance camps in the wilderness outside of an Ark city. While this story is coming from the perspective of children, it will involve some familiar faces we'll recognize from RE:Idealize. And perhaps some familiar plot points we've seen in action too...
But most importantly, this is the tale of an event in Micah's past that changed the course of his life forever...

A world in the future where the world has been overrun, and humanity has retreated to massive cities called Arks, protected from the madness outside.
In this side story, we get a glimpse of life in a refugee camp outside of the Arks. Their struggle to survive, and to find any form of peace and security together. And, of course, their status as the rebellion against the cruelty of the Arks.

This game series (and, by extension, world) is certainly prone to tragedies. Maybe it should have been easier to predict when a major character is a child dealing with a new parent, but I'm not sure if that would have made it any less impactful; families being torn apart never gets any easier to see. Your theory about Micah becoming the next person to become hell-bent on revenge in this world (sadly) seems likely to me. But I'll be holding out hope that it doesn't come to that.
