As BLACKPINK is Korean (and Thai), the instrument in the beginning is a geomungo, a traditional Korean type of zither, played with a bamboo stick.
PINK VENOM achieved 90 million views in 24 hours the day of its premiere on UA-cam and their first live performance was at the 2022 VMAs, they are the first kpop girl group (in all of history) to sing at the VMAs, they are the most winning girl group in the history of the VMAs and in 2022 they won 2 awards: BEST METAVERSE PERFORMANCE, BEST KPOP (LISA won it), first kpop kpop soloist to win at the VMAs, and 2 VMA in 2023 besr choreographic and best group of the year.
...while one could definitely assume that "Pink Venom" has a sexual connotation (and not by accident, I'm sure), the lyrics describe it as the effect that they have on you when one hears their music. Much like a snakebite, once you hear their music it goes "straight to your dome" as it runs through your veins, and you're helpless to resist.
BLACKPINK's BORN PINK album is the first album by a kpop girl group #1 in sales on the BILLBOARD 200 USA, and the only girl group to be #1 on the BILLBOARD 200 USA in 14 years, it is also the first kpop girl group to have an album in the top 10 global sales of the IFPP in all of history.

I know you caught a couple of them, but the musical references on "Pink Venom" are pretty extensive: The song starts with a crowd chanting "Blackpink" like the crowd chants "Bravehearts" in the Nas song "Made You Look". Then Jennie hits us with a reference to Biggie's famous line "kick in the door, wavin the 44"(Jennie says Coco). Next Lisa references Rhianna's "Pon de Replay" with "One by one and two by two" and also 50 Cent's P.I.M.P. with "you can't get a dollar outta me". Rosé and Jisoo both reference Taylor Swift with "look what you made us do" also "I bring the pain like" is a reference to Method Man's "Bring the Pain". Finally, the Jennie/Lisa rap verse is backed by a sample of Ice Cube/Eazy-E's part of "Gangsta Gangsta" by N.W.A(could also be "Dope Man" pretty much the same sample). All the hip hop references aren't a coincidence as they happened to release this track during the 49th anniversary of hip hop. Teddy(their producer) and the girls definitely weren't shy about shouting out their inspirations/favorite artists in this song.
Also my man is wildin' out here saying Biggie is heavily overrated. I mean him and Pac definitely benefit from legend status considering the way they went out, so in a sense yeah, their music is kinda overhyped, but not in the extreme in anyway.
Also, you want peak suggestive double entendres? Check out their song Ice Cream ft Selena Gomez. It was partially composed by Ariana Grande if that will give you a hint of what you're in for. Kids also love that song lol.

(as if we can 🤣) BTW I just listened to an hour New York podcast with Gigi as their guest and her honesty, humbleness and sincerity shows and can be felt. Too bad it isn't subtitled in English so I can't say you have to watch it because you will barely understand hehe. Still I'm here for some of your videos as support.

I don’t want to be one of those people. But I’d recommend watch the m/v’s first. For any song you choose. They are all good. People will tell you live shows. It’s not the same is you haven’t heard the original. But do what gets you views.
I think there is a connotation on Pink Venom, but the primary meaning is that BLACKPINK will take over your heart and mind, kill you with their charm.

Really enjoyed your reaction! i love reactions that you make because you are honest and not a lot of reaction channels ever seem to have an opinion and miraculously love every aspect of every song which can get boring and unbelievable. that's why i still think you should give Stray Kids another chance. but to be fair, S-Class is the only Stray Kids song that i can think of that has such a drastic beat/flow change. and the fact that they produce AND write almost 100% of their music, as a songwriter yourself, I know makes music more personal, respected, and just more enjoyable. i highly suggest you check out Muddy Water by the rap sub-unit of Stray Kids. It is in the style of old school boom bap and they definitely do it justice, promise you. i'm still quite confident you would enjoy their writing/lyrics and production of their B-Side tracks. Suggested: SubUnit Songs: Muddy Water, Red Lights, Taste, I Got It (This is just 1 member, Han); Whole Group Songs: Charmer, Domino, I Am You (Title Track but it still makes the list for you), Collision, 19.
