Adam, I can honestly say that if I hadn't have come across your channel I would not have started looking at the simple beauty of the woodlands. Every subscriber is well earned and I hope many more come across your channel.
It's so helpful to see the RAW files! They sure come out of the camera dull and flat! Sometimes my clients look at my RAW files and worry a bit, but then the magic happens with all that data! Lovely stack, BTW. Well done.
Hey Adam! I've already learned a lot from your post-processing videos and to be able to see them regularly would be well worth 5-10 dollars a month for me. I think it's a great idea!
Thanks for the great idea of reflecting that light up into the mushrooms. Your combined shot was wonderful. I do love shots of mushrooms and these are a real winner.
I'm just amazed at how the most simplest things like a note book as a tool for a great shot. I always learn from you and other fellow photographers. Great work man. Peace!!!
OMG, the mushroom shot at Weiner Falls is absolutely fantastic! I really liked that you shared several versions of that shot. Excellent video as always Adam. Thanks so much for sharing all your great knowledge:) Your videos are a 'cut above' everyone else's!
Fantastic images Adam. I especially loved the mushroom shot! Would be keen to see more of your processing and help support a UA-cam and photographer of your caliber.
That mushroom shot is epic and I personally prefer the first image focused on the mushrooms.....really makes them the star of the shot! IMO. I find that lush "jungle" type undergrowth to be very photogenic. I have relatives on the island I haven't seen in a while.....looks like I should plan on a road trip from Alberta and do some island photo exploring!! It looks captivating! Love the images you create Adam. Great work!!
I love the mushroom shots! My go to emergency reflector is often a white tall kitchen garbage bag, I've got several in my camera bag for emergency rain covers as well as packing out other peoples trash.
That notebook worked a treat. Huge difference. You should make 'uncle grumpie's photography notebook and reflector', no different from a normal notebook but double the price. 💰💰💰
Congratulations on the 30k subscribers. It’s no wonder with Brilliant video presentations like this Adam. The mushroom sequence is jaw droppingly awesome. I must remember the little trick of reflected light.
Absolutely love the mushroom waterfall shot 💞 grand video as always. I hate when people ruin nature with their graffiti crap happens here in the states all the time 🤬
You should have double that number, Adam! You, Hardcastle, Page and Heaton are the Four Horsemen of UA-cam Photography! Not sure who is who just yet... :D
I bloody love that muchroom photo. I bet paul is loving it over there. I know his sub countbhas gone mental lol that cave waterfall as well wow I see why you moved over there now
Thank you for your great images Adam and your amazing videos. You have helped myself in so many ways that saying thank you for your lessons is in my words to little. From one Canadian to another congrats on reaching 30 000 Subscribers.
the vandalism is sooooo annoying... thanks for the tips like using a notebook to reflect light... awesome shot of the mushrooms... I think I prefer the mushrooms with reflected light and the soft falls... Thank You!
You're very talented and I enjoy watching your videos for inspiration. I especially like how you don't always photograph the obvious object and instead focus on subjects in the foreground, like the mushrooms in this case!
So jealous you had Sombrio all to yourself; when you took us there, it was very crowded! Love the two trees at Qualicum. Would love to have seen the patch on your jacket ( to cover the free ad?)...could only see ‘old bastard’. And happy to have you and Gavin back together: comedy soul mates
I loved the mushrooms but that earlier image of the two trees on the edge of the canyon has a quiet beauty that makes it one of my favourites of all your shots. And yes, I'd be willing to pay a small monthly fee for post-processing videos; your skill is remarkable.
Love the photos 8:10, 12:10, and 14:05 'cause they all feel very representative of the temperate rainforests out there, but I definitely don't love the vandals who scratch their initials into natural places. I spent several days this autumn hunting for mushrooms here in Michigan and focus stacking them was always a pain for macro-style shots where you're stacking 5+ images; best tool I found for it was Helicon Focus as it seems to get the edges of mushrooms better than Lightroom or Photoshop, though those two work well when you're only stacking a few photos like you did.
Once again I find myself moving closer to the monitor, smile on my face, pausing on each image. Just fantastic. Thanks again for sharing. I always have a sheet of white paper in my bag for closeups.
MAN! I love the mushrooms with the waterfall in the background! It's really too bad that damned tree is there - it would be so much cleaner without it.
Awesome as always. The mushroom image came out well...stunning. Brilliant idea to use reflected light underneath!! Also, your idea of doing processing vids is good (and I would pay). Can never get enough of those, and it helps to get them from different folks. Again, well done! G
Adam, I absolutely love the focus stacked mushroom shot. It looks amazing and having both the mushrooms and background waterfall sharp gave it a fantastic look. The post processing video idea sounds interesting for sure.
Hey Adam, another fine video mate. Well done on your involvment with the judging of Epson Pano awards this year. The standard of winners was astounding again!... Regards Ewan (NZ)
Dang those mushroom images were awesome, Adam. I would pick the one with reflected light and leaving the waterfall not in focus. All were terrific. The reflecting light shots off the rocks in the first waterfall were something else as well. May have to make a journey to your lovely island. Thanks for the inspiration.
Just like last week with the mossy rocks, this time it’s some really cool mushrooms as the main focus. The waterfall is again secondary, and distracting if in focus. Thanks for sharing your photos Adam.
I would love to see how you process your images. It would be well worth a small fee. Another excellent video today, Love the fern detail shots at the end.
Not only you take amazing pictures, but you have an amazing taste in music that really suits and complement you images
Love the badge on your jacket. 'Warning, Grumpy Old Bastard'
Adam, I can honestly say that if I hadn't have come across your channel I would not have started looking at the simple beauty of the woodlands. Every subscriber is well earned and I hope many more come across your channel.

That mushroom image truly validates why you deserve the 2018 World Landscape Photographer award!
Thanks for the great idea of reflecting that light up into the mushrooms. Your combined shot was wonderful. I do love shots of mushrooms and these are a real winner.
The mushroom stacked image is incredible! Another masterclass!
Agree. I never thought of doing something like that.
You are a true MASTER of photography! Those mushrooms were SO beautiful it was uncanny. Love your work - can't wait for more. Cheers!
Remarkable work 👌🏻 Loved all the images , specially the one with the mushrooms , it’s almost 3D looking , spectacular!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Blown away....excellent mushroom image...wow.... Thank you for another great video.
Awesome photos Adam.... all of them actually... but that Mushroom shot is awesome... the mushrooms mimics the shape of the cascades in the waterfall.
Love the mushroom shot with the out of focus waterfall. Great video as always Adam, keep up the good work.
Loving the new logo! Great style.
You put the Fun in Fungi this week Sir
Fantastic mushroom shots.
I'm just amazed at how the most simplest things like a note book as a tool for a great shot. I always learn from you and other fellow photographers. Great work man. Peace!!!

Amazing video again
The mushroom image is simply mind blowing
Thanks for sharing this with us
Good Idea. You have to see something like that first.👍
I love the mushroom shots! My go to emergency reflector is often a white tall kitchen garbage bag, I've got several in my camera bag for emergency rain covers as well as packing out other peoples trash.
The mushroomphoto... awesome! Thnx for a great vlog adam.
That notebook worked a treat. Huge difference. You should make 'uncle grumpie's photography notebook and reflector', no different from a normal notebook but double the price. 💰💰💰
Those long exposure slider timelapses in the intro were gorgeous!
Love this. Inspired to try to see the familiar in a new way. Thank you!
Great location! Love the final tree.
Another fantastic video Adam. Enjoyed it very much!
Loved the mushroom shots and the insight it to your final image! Post processing classes from the master.. interesting !

This mushroom picture looks really impressive!

Those mushrooms are just magical.
Stunning! The Fuji seems to really be very supportive of your art. the post production seems very minimal.
Great video as always.
Wonderful video Adam 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
You're very talented and I enjoy watching your videos for inspiration. I especially like how you don't always photograph the obvious object and instead focus on subjects in the foreground, like the mushrooms in this case!
Those mushroom images are so good I want to scream. Perhaps you can hear me from the East Coast.
Loved the mushroom & waterfall shots, especially the focus-stacked one. Clever use of the notebook - necessity is the mother of all inventions!
Great images. I love the mushroom shot. Good thing you had your notebook as I loved the reflected light. You do beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.
Love the mushroom shot.
Adam! your tripod and backpack is in the shot again! Beautiful never the less!!!
Impressive demonstration of the use of reflected light under the mushrooms Adam.
It would be worth the small fee for sure. You have a great talent,
Great video mate.
Just love the mushroom one Adam, truly inspirational!
Awesome work Uncle Grumpy !!!
loved the light /combo of shapes , colours and textures in the image around 14:07 .. nice work Monsieur Gibbs ... ,
Those mushies turned out nice. If only that tree grouping was either more gnarly or just not there this would be one of the best comps on the island.
fototripper my thoughts exactly, we could bring our own mushrooms and a chainsaw next time😂😂
those mushrooms appear to be edible. collect and eat them for dinner after the shoot, this way no one can steal your composition
Very good.
Stunning shots Adam! Very interesting seeing how you get your shots, feel the same way cannot believe people deface such beautiful spots
meh, human nature I guess. Cheers, Tom!
Adam Gibbs who knows mate, least it keeps your photoshop skills up to date lol 😂

Love the mushrooms, and I really like the way you faded through the images to show how you edited it.
Nice coat label.
The mushroom image is incredible. Enjoyed the video.
Lov'n the stacked image, great sheen on the mushrooms.
mushroom image was beautiful the 2 trees didnt even seem to detract too much. :)
Fantastic trip mate loved every minute of it. Some beautiful locations on the island
Mushrooms picture is amazing. Join button is a great idea but I'd rather prefer a one time fee instead of a monthly payment.
Post processing videos sound like a great idea Adam, I'd be more than happy to pay for that 👍
