  • We tested the new Tesla Model 3 Performance, the fastest and the most powerful of the new Tesla Model 3 line up and it's super powerful with 460 horsepower in the UK, races from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 163 mph with up to 328 miles of WLTP Range, all for £59,990, but why would anyone need or want all that power?

      @kristijan The ride quality of the performance is rougher since it's lower to the ground with bigger rims. It's physics. The most comfortable and "touring" model is the LR, AND it goes 0-60 in 4.2. That's the sweet spot. If you never take the performance to the track, kind of pointless for the rougher ride.

      @@Jaycee3 as far as i know suspension on the performance is adjustable

      @@Jaycee3 suspension system is upgraded on the M3P and its also adaptive so you can change how it feels in real time

    Extraordinary car - extremely fast, great handling, comfortable, and love the minimalist look. Great review - thanks 🙏 🎉

    Because you are always indicating left out of a roundabout (in the UK) you realise after a couple of days that you don’t have to ‘figure out’ which indicator button to use. It’s always the same.

      Yeah, some people get used to it quickly. For me, I'd need to use it way longer than my review period

    Test drove one of these, blistering acceleration drives really well and looks great. Where I come from this colour combo with white interior price is $91.5k
    Probably the highest priced M3P in the world 🌎 😊

    How does the ride comfort compare with the Long Range variant with 19 inch rims? I heard the adaptive dampers make it more comfortable than the LR.

      Much better, the AD makes it much better with software doing all the work too

    I like the sharper front and rear plus the sports seats. I was going to lamblast this for the transmission selection on screen but glad you showed the alternative controls above. Still unnecessary to remove the indicator stalks, the cabins always been minimalist, just leave it alone!! 🤔

      I wouldn't lambast for the screen drive direction selection. (9/10 it does it on its own) It is so easy

      @@GadgetsBoy good way to summarise. This is also a little more practical in space. The only thing that bugs me, and it's a big thing imo, the lack of a proper speed limiter function on a Tesla

    • @GadgetsBoy
      @GadgetsBoy  Місяць тому +1

      You know I've never thought about the speed limiter thing, I guess it's not very American perhaps

    • @benjimc1
      @benjimc1 Місяць тому

      @@GadgetsBoy yeah I think that's the issue with Tesla's, very US focused, e.g. the indicator removal. But I have had enough speeding tickets to need a limiter 😅

      @user-os1nh7xq1z Місяць тому

      @@benjimc1 You can set a speed limiter on your Tesla. I use it when I am driving in a place I know there are lots of camera/police etc. I set it from my phone app...its easy. Limit between 50 and 120mph
