Cody, totally agree. Acoustic shouldn't always mean go softer, not at all. Most acoustic versions of artists' own songs sap all the energy out of the damn thing!

B G I related to it a lot when I was addicted to heroin. Especially the line “pour the salt into the open wound.” I’ve been clean for almost 8 years now. But this song would hurt when I would listen to it, sicker than sick, on my way to get my fix.
I listened to BB for years on and off, but had never heard this song until I saw them live at aftershock this year. It’s one of those songs that when you first listen to, captivates you. It held on to me, and hasn’t let go since.
With the passing of Chris Cornell I honestly think Ben has one of, if not the best "rock n roll" voice today. It would be tough for anyone to edge out Maynard but Ben is certainly up there imho of course
I underrated bb for a while, but they have so many songs that actually hit your soul and are catchy as hell, and his voice is so unique. They are now my favorite band of all time and will remain that way, and this is now my favorite performance ive ever seen.
Probably the best acoustic version of a song I've ever heard. It maintains all of the original emotion and structure that made this song amazing, but in a clearer stopped down version- very well done guys.
i see many asking for tab to this and it is available but if you really want the tru sound of this song you need more then an acoustic and drop c tuning. if you notice they are both playing baritone guitars. (thick sttings) ¥ built for deep low tuning. ben has a few songs as low as drop A so at that point you need a guitar built for that. such an amazing unique sound. Bens alwayse been an incredible guitar player but his ability to sing so many different harmonys while playing complicated cords and riffs is seriously a pleasure to watch. Aaron the new bass player is a diamondnin the ruff. henusento do solo acoustic sets in North east PA and after hearing him once i knew he would not be playing cover songs in bars for long. my brother showed me YT vids of aarons (new bass player) acoustic shows and BB has never been more talented then now. Aarons back up vocals and a harmony that aaron have been key to this amazing comeback. if you hear aaron just once youlli know that he can sing any part of the spectrum and add that to ben and you have a perfect srrom
Let's give it up for Aaron too. His harmonies are perfect.
amen xD

every word of this song ...i can relate to
Hi Yeyo (I'm Miguel, LOL) :v
B G I related to it a lot when I was addicted to heroin. Especially the line “pour the salt into the open wound.” I’ve been clean for almost 8 years now. But this song would hurt when I would listen to it, sicker than sick, on my way to get my fix.
Ty.
Ben Burnley and Co. produces some of the most awesome, insightful music I know... Keep it up fellas!!!!!!!!! Inspirational...
N
im shooketh..... I could listen to this all day
More than 10 years.. And still one of the best acoustic version of a song..
What a classic. One of the greatest songs ever
this is perfect, Aaron is amazing
Bad ass!hands down
I fucking love him! The lyrics, the voice, the passion.. raw talent!
This is one of my favorite videos on the internet.
I listened to BB for years on and off, but had never heard this song until I saw them live at aftershock this year. It’s one of those songs that when you first listen to, captivates you. It held on to me, and hasn’t let go since.
They're amazing, they sound just perfect
With the passing of Chris Cornell I honestly think Ben has one of, if not the best "rock n roll" voice today. It would be tough for anyone to edge out Maynard but Ben is certainly up there imho of course
I'm going to see them live tonight at the Rave,
This is great.
+Jamie Adams It was a good show? the voice of Benjamin remains the same?
+Jonathan Souza Oh yeah. I saw them live in September at Aftershock. They're still the same as ever.
Oh yes, if anything they are much better live!
Jamie Adams I was at that Rave show too ha! Great acoustic performance here.....
This is honestly one of my favorite songs
A hug from Brazil for everyone who appreciates good music.
You never fail to amaze us , Ben.
You made our teenage years less miserable and still make our adulthood less shitty.
for me, this is Ben at his best!!!
I underrated bb for a while, but they have so many songs that actually hit your soul and are catchy as hell, and his voice is so unique. They are now my favorite band of all time and will remain that way, and this is now my favorite performance ive ever seen.
One word and one word only.... Epic....
I can't believe this is the first time I've heard this. Love it!
I keep coming back years later
His voice is so unique and perfect
Probably the best acoustic version of a song I've ever heard. It maintains all of the original emotion and structure that made this song amazing, but in a clearer stopped down version- very well done guys.
Thats why i LOVE acoustic! Its freakin AMAZING 🤘🖤
Like seriously how can he sound like this What a gift Damn
damn back vocals
Wow, I've never seen this before. That's spectacular. I've always loved this song. 9 years ago. Sounds fresh even today.
There are so many ways that I love Breaking Benjamin and this is one of them.
i see many asking for tab to this and it is available but if you really want the tru sound of this song you need more then an acoustic and drop c tuning. if you notice they are both playing baritone guitars.
Yep, the baritones make this song.
Why are you both too perfect? *-*
it annoys me to no end that this video doesn't even have 1M views. I'll get it there.
Chewy Chuyi it does now
And here we are with a million views we have succeeded haha
Love Breaking Benjamin. They just give positivity, and look upon past sorrow as strength.
perfect acoustic live
Eu amo esse som , em acústico ficou lindoooooo 😮
This man right here has a set of lungs on him! Woo! \m/
Yeah, him and Corey from Slipknot have vocal chords of the gods.
Ben is by far the best songwriter out there! Lyrically and vocally gifted! Been a fan since day one!
Knowing hes left handed and playing the guitar so beautifully right handed is totally amazing.
This is 100x better than the produced version.
These guys are mad talented
