I appreciate what Ben is going through but I would also like to see a scene (even if in the future) of a Ben speech fighting for his marriage as well. Callum is always begging him to consider him/them/their future. I’m craving a turned table.
I get Ben is scared of losing Callum. But if he Carries on the way he’s going he’s going to lose Callum anyway, because will divorce him. I really hope Ben turn up to meet Callum
It's obvious Callum and Kathy is severly underestimating how damaged Ben is... which is stupid seeing as Ben is a walking example of PTSD at the moment. You would think especially Callum with him being in the army would recognize the signs of deep emotional trauma. I feel for Cal, I really do and I understand where he's coming from but giving ultimatum and forcing Ben into situations that scare the hell out of him is not going to cure PTSD. With Ben being as pigheaded as he is I don't know what will but it's not this.
I really hope Callum is able to help Ben through his PTSD. After everything they have done and have been through, if they aren't staying together. There is no hope for the rest of us
Kathy is starting to annoy me a little bit. It feels like she is just guilt tripping Callum into fighting for Ben, when Callum is always the one fighting for them, and Ben is always the one pushing him away. I understand that Ben is traumatized and he truly believes that he is doing what's best for Callum, but it's really not fair on Callum that Kathy is constantly telling him to fight for him, he has a lot on his plate right now with Stuart and just needed Ben to support him like he always supports him, but it seems that Ben never really does. I want to see Ben do the fighting for this marriage, because Callum has done all of it so far and at the moment frankly deserves better
I know I’m gunna get a bit of hate but I’m gunna say it! I do think Ben and Callum should separate for the time being - not divorce though. I think this for two reasons: 1. I think Ben needs to heal in his own way and time. While I know Callum would be supportive of that as well, most of their relationship it’s been Callum who’s fought the relationship. I do really think that they both need some space to work on their own issues/or just live a little outside the relationship. In the end though, something will bring them back together, which brings me to my next point… 2. Tony Clay/Callum NEEDS a storyline that doesn’t revolve around his marriage with Ben. Tony is a brilliant actor and Eastenders is wasting so much potential due to the Gray serial killer storyline. Tony deserves a real, hard-hitting storyline! And I don’t think that can be done with dramas following him and Ben. Yes it can slowly bring them back together but I do want a storyline focused solely on Callum.
You can tell Ben wants nothing more than to go to his husband and to tell him they're gonna be ok. But Ben is NOT ok and is struggling so much and won't accept help. He's not ready
dude what he's exhibiting symptoms of mental illness exacerbated by seeing his husband get gay bashed in front of him only a few years on from his boyfriend being killed in a similar attack I think it's understandable that he's freaked out rn
@@bethmccreadie3808 Comments like the ones above really show how little compassion people have for those with mental health issues. Calling someone suffering from PTSD "a coward" is ableist as fuck.
Callum is always fighting for Ben it is exhausting seeing him love a guy who is a loser. All Ben does is being a victim. Ben hardly ever supports Callum. It is a one sided relationship. I don't see what other people see. Callum needs a new guy without Ben baggage.
The thing is, i understand Ben i really do. I get he is scared and i was scared watching this because i thought at the end everyone would get murdered or something. But i also know from personal experiences that pushing people you love away when you are hurting is not the way forward. I think Callum shouldn’t force him to be all “proud and pride” just yet. I’m in the lgbt community or whatever, and i just don’t really feel like walking around with a massive pride flag on my back. It’s sad that society has done that to us.
Then make society change. If you are proud of yourself and open about who you are it forces the bigots and the idiots to deal with it. We are always gonna be around them whether they like it or not. They can beat us, take away our rights and picket and protest all they want we ain't going anywhere.
If he really cared about Callum's safety, Ben could start by denouncing all his shady businesses, that have put them both in serious danger (Keanu almost killing Callum, Callum getting blackmailed to spy on Phil, Ben scared of found out he led to a dude's death in prison)...

It is so annoying that i constantly worry about what others think of me rather than worrying about who i am. And constantly getting called a girl as well. Isnt helpful at all.

THIS, so much this! I know Ben has a lot of trauma to work through but it's not fair on Callum who carries the marriage on his shoulders...
Not the song in the background being Dancing on my Own 😭😭 emotional damage

Ahh Callum is such a handsome man...but I am finding their drama a little bit boring, hopefully it will get better
Ben: casually watching the watch, counting time
Me: sighed once again! 😔 😞 are you going or not??

He sure is Callum deserves better.
I agree but bit I'm sure alot would, when you look at the reasons behind it
