Where can I find the rivet popper that you use? Brand name and model number? I’m going to have to tackle this replacement at 73 years old so I’d like to make it as easy as possible. Thank you for the video.
Sorry for the delay. I didn’t see your comment right away. The diameter size of rivet is 1/4 inch. You will need longer ones for the door glass itself but the shorter ones are ok for the regulator. I purchase the larger rivet gun from Equalizer.com where we get some of our auto glass tools. Hope this helps
Merry Christmas! Sorry about that. Its available on the same website. They refer to it as a rivet stem remover. This is the part number to make things easier : DP0585@@wrguin
In this case where it was rolled down and up stopped working I’ve replaced the motor as the old one was seized but now I don’t hear any noise upon pressing the switch for the rear left window
Hmmm interesting. You also could have a switch issue. At our shop sometimes we have to do a little trial and error to service customer cars. It’s not uncommon to have a customer come in thinking it’s a regulator issue only for us to find out it was something else.
Great video! 💪🏾💪🏾
Glad it helped

I was talking about the rivet popper not the rivet gun. It knocks out the old center of the rivet. Thanks

Hey, Do you know the size of the long rivets for the window ? I've been trying to find them everywhere.
I will find out. Out on the road today. Stand by!
