It really is a fabulous trail isn’t it, for walking and for cycling. But you’ve got to spend some time walking quietly along it for a good few days to really appreciate just how special it is. Then, you can cycle it and still appreciate all the little nuances that make it so great. The tables and benches every few km definitely add to the many reasons we love it though Paula 😉😂
I always look forward to your vlogs. They are always so much fun and relaxing to watch. Congratulations on surpassing 400 km. That’s incredible! Can’t wait for your next vlog.
Thank you Lyne 🙏🏼. We look forward to your endless kind and lovely comments ❤️ So it’s a fair trade 😂. It was a big moment to get to the 400 km. We really felt like we were finally well and truly over the halfway point 😅
Hedwig stole the show again with the fantastic views from above. It was a good idea to not get between the squirrels and their snacks. I think we have all been there, haha.
LOL absolutely! You just have to look at their determined little furry faces to know that it’s not going to be an encounter you’re going to win 😂Yeah, Hedwig had a great day for sure. It took quite a long while to coax him back into his case 😂
Well it really showed Bryson. It was a really lovey place, though how they manage to find time is a mystery to us. They work full time, have a family, a bakery, a bakery logistics, and of course a B&B!! Amazing! And such lovely people too ❤️
What an epic journey, you two have had. I can see why you enjoy walking on the.Confederation trail sections!! Lovely scenery, not so hot, and looks like all those pesky mosquitos are gone. Seeing that you have done three long trails, would you ever return to do any of them again? I would like to do the confederation trail, by bike.
Thank you ❤️ Yes, 100%. There are sooooo many new walks and trails calling our name, but we would definitely revisit some too. Cycling the Confederation Trail would be a good one. It opens up opportunities to hit many more of the side trails, towns, and fabulous view points. You could spend a couple of weeks ticking off lighthouses and beaches for starters. And we’d never rule out the possibility of a revisit to the Camino Portuguese 😂
LOL you could have left a little teapot by the roadside Bryson, and maybe a chocolate biscuit or two. That’s definitely the way to attract Chonky Trundlers 😉. It’s akin to leaving seeds on your bird table 😂
The Confederation Trail is super! Fabulous that there tables and shelter and bathrooms.😊

Yup, that’s a Red Squirrel. Tick.
Quick AF and a loud chatterer.
LOL quick af is an understatement 😂 And they are NOT going to share benches, that much was very clear 😂😂
Blue Jay - tick!
You could add a tick box to the vid with a link to your bucket list - each one linking to the vid where it’s obtained :)
LOL good idea Mar! We’ve kept it going here on the other side of The Pond too. We’ve downloaded the various bird packs 👍🏼😂
Hillsborough River - one of Canada's heritage rivers. It's tidal all the way to Mt. Stewart.
It was one of the best sections for sure.
Yes, there's a Red Seal chef at Bishops Rest - very nice! 'Sounds like you got to enjoy it completely.

Good to know! I haven't met them yet, but I'm looking forward to it!

@@ChonkyTrundlers Hoping at the end your video, you could make a longer video, highlighting your favourite parts.
We will be doing for sure. There will be a wrap-up video with tips, lessons learned, favyplaces, etc etc 👍🏼
Tra-ca-d. :-)
LOL thank you Bryson 😅😂
If you looked hard you could see our cottage - it's on Tracadie Bay!

This is the only section of Rte 6 that doesn't have a paved shoulder. As you can see, some got paved this summer. They'll finish the job in 2025.
That’s going to help for definite Bryson 👍🏼
