Hey we talked awhile back finally moved to Florida got my kit built running the max10 combo with a 3mm to 5mm shaft adapter with a 16t mod 1 pinion no issues running 3s lots of fun everything I wanted my smt10 to be ..thanks for your advice on my build
Amain had this kit on sale right after xmas, I jumped on one and it sure was a fun build. Performance is crazy good at crawling steep icy trails here in Canada. Watching your videos has made me pretty decent at painting lexan. Love your style and videos.
I saw one of these in my local model shop, and it looks awesome!! With those Black Mamba tyres on it, yours looks a whole lot meaner!! Can't wait to see the run video. 😁🤘🏻
@@hemistormrc not following the crowd is what I like. I've seen another UA-camr with the Black Mamba tyres on a heavily modded Ryft, and thats a proper weapon. I love the Axial cars, and have a Yeti myself. That was modded to the extreme by the previous owner, to the point that it's so heavy, and kind of crash and all sorts break. The Ryft looks a bit more durable. 👍🏻
Love it ..... I'm building a ryft in 2 weeks already have same wheels ..... but I will have aluminum beadlocks soon... love the look of it man..... if you ever hear of a ryft named "orange crush" it will be mine man...👍😎👊

It's funny because canada has similar issues with trying to get stuff from the u.s. The RYFT looks killer man. Those tires are aggressive as F***. Can't wait for the run video.
I hear ya on the shipping. And I live in the states! Sometimes I get stuff in three days. Other times it's three weeks! And that's shipping within the states. Don't get me started on international stuff. Grrrr!!!! >:(
Sweet build Chris ,I have a hobby wing exrun 3300 combo with a 5mm shaft in my ftx mauler it's an animal of a system that you can have on bash mode or crawl mode

Better plastic, and the axles have more reinforcement on the supports. they go al the way to the diff cover now, opposed to being a thinner rip on top of the housing. Fills in much of the weak area with beefier supports.
Where did you get the light table you you to do your paint jobs I need that I'm a car painter by trade I do alot of muscle cars an trucks but trying to get into doing rattle cans on rc trucks
Hey I had a question, I'm doing the build kit currently, and I have the spectrum spmx SM 1600, which is the firma 1900 KV 130 amp brushless ESC like you have. My question is did you have to modify the belly skid plate to get that motor in there? Cuz mine it pushes it out and causes this weird bow

Sorry to hear that, I do think the plastics have improved vastly over the RTR, mine took a beating.

Took it for a spin this week and it’s insane! Wheels hook up crazy well, bashed it for a long while and zero complaints. Really nice ride this Ryft.

Hi there! It’s a builders lamp with fluorescent pipes. Works great and the temperatures on it are superb for drying a job in between coats. 👍🏼🍻
